Tremorings of Hope (2018)

Depicts the aftermath to disaster as a sequel to The People Living in Hadenya, which followed daily life in the Hadenya fishing village in Miyagi Prefecture's Sanriku Town during the three years prior to the Tohoku earthquake and tsunami. Depicts the "tremorings of hope" for disaster victims who have floundered and wavered as they work toward reconstruction. A young man builds momentum to revive the Osususama lion dance, once the most important ceremony in the Hadenya village that was destroyed and divided by the tsunami.
