Feature-length documentary by directors Kataoka Nozomi and Inoue Minoru of Kiraigo - Town Where Ogres and Buddha Live. Interweaves interviews and film excerpts to create a contemporary rendition of the filmmaking methods of Takagi Ryutaro, who produced documentary films about the Minamata disease from 1971 to 1984, including documentary filmmaker Tsuchimoto Noriaki's "Minamata" series. Producer Katsura Shuntaro started shooting the film in 2011, and later the Documentary Film Preservation Center took over and completed the film with support from the Agency for Culture Affairs.
