XCY is handsome and JYJ is funny????  martial arts is nice,  I hope this drama keeps me interested, we’ll see. I’ll watch up to 10 episodes and decide if I’ll continue to watch it or not.

It's okay without the female lead.

7,5/10I can't give more than 8 for now. The story is kinda interesting (until now). If it's the 16 - 20 sth episode then I think it will be good. But it's more than 50 so I will not promise to watch it till the end. I will definitely drop it if it goes boring. This drama has some funny scene and conversation. The female lead character is supposed to be funny and a litte nosy. Unfortunately, I don't think it's funny. It feels fake and forced funny, I don't laugh at all. The main of the main is Ye Jia Yao, as you can see from the title it's about the chef, but I don't think Zhong Da Ni is right for this role. She seems bland and kinda boring. Instead of being funny, she's more like the annoying nosy girl who make it hard for others, she tried to be funny but not funny at all.I'm not sure if it's the camera angle and timing that make it not funny or the female lead's acting. Basically it's a funny scene (like when she got throwed down from the horse or throwd to the tree). I find that Xiao Chen Zhong is much interesting and funnier than Ye Jia Yao. And yes the male lead is a cool and smart character, so far I don't mind.I was more focused on the misterious pearl, the fighting, the killing scene, and the ghost instead of the chef story. I'm not that curious about her. And tbh, I personally think that the drama will still good even without the female lead, or even better. One very little disavantage is some of the fighting scene. The ninja movement from the first episode was so slow and he step to much on the roof and it will cause a lot of sound if you think about the roof material (not a pro ninja). If just they give more attention to it then it'll be fine. The way they shoot the food and how to cook is sooo fine. Extra point for this :)
