Another Awesome Lakorn Couple Is here

I had least expectations but I was blown away by the chemistry of the main leads.
I started this purely on curiosity when I came across a random video on youtube, but It pulled me in just after watching 2 eps. and before I realised, I had marathon-ed all 14 eps that were released till that day.

The story is average with lots of cliches and typical dramatic supporting characters. But the main couple's story is different here.
Rampha and Yutt had mind-blowing chemistry. I loved their characters. The She Devil and her Handsome Secretary to rescue was the perfect combination for any good lakorn.

Fern was on spot as Rampha. She is beautiful, cold, arrogant, and a hard-core perfectionist. All the yelling , cursing and cold personality could have been seemed over-the-top, annoying and spoiled if it was not for Fern. She lived the character beyond perfection. She is bold, strong and straight-forward as Rampha. She knew damn well what she wants and what she have to do to get that. I loved how she molds and warms up towards the people she loves. She is ruthless & she never forgive easily when it comes to people who betrayed her.

Tao, on the other hand is really suitable as Yutt. He is sweet, playful and people's person. I wouldn't say he was playboy before. Coz it was his earning source. So all he did was to survive by using whatever medium possible. He sweet-talks to people and manages to survive any situation so smoothly despite having no higher education or strong background. I loved that about him. Many lakorns had shown arrogant and overly-confidant guys. Yutt breaks all those main-stream guys who force woman using under-handed tactics. Yutt is different. Though he started off on wrong foot, but he is sincere, hard-working and really supportive to Rampha. He never second-guessed the authority of his girlfriend-cum-his boss. He knew how to handle her temper and tantrums. He made up for the wrong he did. He was patient and truly her knight-in shining armor. But he never came off weak or shallow person. He never gave up on Rampha nor tired off her.

I could go on and on how much I liked the main characters. I just loved them. Their chemistry is HOT, the kisses are HOT, skinship is HOT. I just fell in love with this couple, I had rewatched their scenes almost 10-12 times.

Secondary couple was okayish. Simon and Nong-da were totally for comic value. I wasn't fond of any secondary characters or antagonists. I watched their scenes on fast-forward. Drama becomes better that way. But all the charcters did had some base and reasons for their actions.
Of course, there are cat-fights, cursing , yelling, black-mailing and so many cliches. But I wasn't disappointed by that as this one gave me one more couple to my favorites.

Music is suitable and nice. but nothing mark-able.

Rewatch is must just for Main couple's interactions.

Special Thanks to subbers that I could watch this.

I can honestly say this show is everything you want from a lakorn and more, probably more because this time, the she devil isn't so hateful. Like you really can't hate her, the actress is good at what she does and she plays a good she devil, she's mean and in charge but because she needs to be. She's a business woman, she's hard working, she knows what she wants and she's going to come get it. I don't know if I wasn't paying attention but a lot of it wasn't predictable to me, but I did have a lot of questions and thoroughly the more I watched, the more answers I got. I'm not a fan of the male lead but he plays a good actor so I really can't be mad. He played such a good and caring guy and they did have good chemistry in my opinion; he was soft spoken and she was rough around the edges and usually it's vice versa; the dad was hateful; the secondary characters were a little meh but I watched it for the main characters and the bad characters sucked at being bad but the show wasn't terrible; I honestly liked it and it was worth the watch.

I don't typically write reviews whenever I watched dramas but just seeing some trailers with help of good subber friends, I was suddenly hooked not knowingly marathoned the entire episodes in just 1 day! I'm curious about sudden turn of events for main characters and I'm amazed by it since it was unpredictable especially how lovey dovey they are with their sweet scenes. Their chemistry is just like, MINDBLOWING. I can't help playing back those scenes and will not get tired as they were the best parts. I've been with Kdramas as they were trend here in Philippines so I must say this kind of love story is game-changer! Their affection rate to viewers will surely be 101% after watching first few episodes. Other cast did nice with portraying their characters though somewhat they went off with cliches. Overall, watching this is a must and highly recommended. Thank you Baifern and Tao!!!

Although the plot is somewhat cliche-ish, actors' skills will keep you watching.

The genre is quite common (office romance) but the development of the story made me to watch until the end.

Actually, I just learned this drama when it was released in the Philippines but due to busy schedule, I was not able to watch it through our local tv so I ended up searching the subbed version of this. (AND BAIFERN!!!)

Actors' acting skills are on point! Rampa made me cry with some scene but mostly during that karaoke scene! It is very relatable. Paweeda is an annoying character... I know. But I like her. She is one of the reasons why I watched until the end. Yutthakarn's character is intriguing for me. It's obvious that he is a mole but the way Yut is helping Rampa from the start seems sincere... yes, you can say I was deceived, too. Frank's consistency is really good! I was not annoyed by him and I found him really fun to watch during those 'angry' scenes. Anyway his source of emotion is stronger than Yut's 'boss' who is really crazy- I was glad they ended that 'boss' story like that-

The chem between Baifern and Tao is solid- I am attached. But yes, there are some scenes/lines that are a bit dragging and strange... idk why, but still,  I love them!

The end was a bit off, but I guess it is just normal. I just hoped that Paweeda, Rampa and Nong Da had the mother-daughter-sister scenes more... Paweeda looks like a very caring mom whom Rampa is longing for.

(Disc: I am not a fan (yet) of a Lakorn and this is my first Thai drama that I watched in full.)

Yuttakarn Prab Nang Marn is definitely a romantic comedy lakorn. I must say, this lakorn totaly got me hooked to its genre. I loved this 18 episodes lakorn. I was totally amazed of how Baifern as Rhamphapas and Tao as Yutthakarn portrayed their roles in this drama. The main leads were very just in their own respective role.
Also, the second leads-Simon Yang and Nong Da were so cute in portraying their superstar and fan love story.
With regards to the villains, they too had their own style in portraying their roles.
Please watch this lakorn and keep your eyes to Khun Frank and Khun Aod.? I dare you my fellow viewers to patiently watch this lakorn until the very end of this story because it will give you the satisfaction of the real-TWIST.?

This show opens with Fern Pimchanok in the main role labeled with the 'Cold Female Lead' tag, yet she is pretty hysterical. Scene in epi 3 where she slapped David Asavanond was hilarious. Nevertheless, I couldn't help but thinking that really wasn't very cold of her. She is depicted as a "she-devil", but all I could see was that she was firm with her decisions at work and did not let others make her insecure. She had guts and also showed her feelings clearly, I found her actually vulnerable for it. Who was shady was Tao Sattaphong's main guy. Also her only parent did not really have her back. Not to mention the mother-daughter duo of leeches, who smiled and spoke sweetly, but the more they were the real devils... Though one cannot really hate Nara Thepnupha, THIS girl so deserves main role. Not just her acting, also her dancing!:)

Who is unwatchable is Pete Thongchua (no surprise there), who perhaps belongs on some plastic-surgery advertisement poster but not into acting. Who owns his acting is Tao Sattaphong of course, but somehow he looked... really gay in this. I didn't even wish for romance in between him and Fern. After just 5 episodes, this started to drag for me, the screaming, the plot, all the characters. Even after the relationships started evolving, I didn't really care for it. In the end, Tao Sattaphong's character in this could really be gay, I would have not problem with it.

Yuttakarn Prab Nang Marn - A Winning Blend of Romance and Comedy

Overview:
Yuttakarn Prab Nang Marn successfully combines romance, comedy, and drama to create an engaging Thai series that stands out in the genre. With Baifern Pimchanok leading the cast, the show unfolds with a compelling plot and well-developed characters, making it a personal favorite.

Plot:
The series revolves around Rampa, the dynamic executive producer of her father's film production company. Despite her angelic appearance, Rampa's office persona is that of a devil. The arrival of Yuttakarn, a cunning and playful new secretary, sparks a series of comedic and dramatic events that keep viewers eagerly awaiting each episode.

Casting:
Baifern Pimchanok shines in her portrayal of Rampa, effortlessly capturing the character's hot-tempered and rude nature. However, Tao Sattoahong, who plays Yuttakarn, falls slightly short with a somewhat stiff performance and limited expressions. Despite this, the chemistry between the leads is palpable, contributing to the overall appeal.

Music:
The soundtrack complements the series perfectly, enhancing the overall atmosphere. The music contributes to the show's vibe, creating a more immersive viewing experience.

Recommendation:
Yuttakarn Prab Nang Marn is recommended for those seeking a mix of romance and comedy with a strong, mean-girl protagonist. Rampa's tough exterior is portrayed in a cool and intriguing manner that keeps audiences hooked.

Pacing and Plot Twists:
The pacing is well-executed, maintaining viewer interest with each episode. The reveal of the main antagonist is cleverly concealed, providing surprising twists that add depth to the storyline. Yuttakarn's unexpected connection with the main villain adds an extra layer of complexity, keeping the narrative fresh and unpredictable.

Conclusion:
In summary, Yuttakarn Prab Nang Marn stands out as a must-watch for fans of romance and comedy. Baifern Pimchanok's outstanding performance, coupled with a well-crafted plot and engaging character dynamics, makes this Thai drama a standout in its genre. While some aspects could be improved, the overall viewing experience is highly enjoyable.
