A fantasy romance between the descendant of an imperial chef and the President of a fine dining chain. Hailing from a family of chefs, Gu Cong Lai has an extraordinary gift. She can see the taste of food and use different flavors to effect a person's emotions. Through a chance encounter, Cong Lai meets Liu Shang Jun, the domineering President of a fine dining food chain. Liu Shang Jun intends to recruit Cong Lai but their clashing personalities and differing ideals result in a love-hate relationship between the two. (Source: ChineseDrama.info) Edit Translation

This drama is fluffy and beautiful. It's a very typical romance that proceeds very fast since the show is finished in 12 episodes. I support the strong woman character in Gu Cong Lai. She's very experienced in cooking in her own way. Gu Cong Lai is very down to earth, and we watch Liu Shang Jun, the other main character, start to revolve around her and her life. Their interactions are very wholesome and sweet.
Several of the side characters are annoying because they love the main characters too much. Throughout the entire drama, the methods the side characters use are very extreme; putting a laxative pill in the customer's food simply because you are jealous of him is not a good way to continue to run the restaurant business. Most of these antics detract from the fluffiness of the romance. It hit me at the end of the drama that Gu Cong Lai's food is actually similar to drugging someone.
