Ye Jun Qing figures out that Yao Mo Wan is really Yao Mo Xin. Yao Mo Wan tells him to look outside at what is happening in the world and for him to take up responsibility with protecting the citizens of Chu. A little refugee steals the soldier's food, but Yao Mo Wan forgives him and tries to solve the problem. The emperor won't listen to her. Yao Mo Wan goes out to help save the refugees on the street. One of the refugees comes back for help, but it is a trap to catch her. Yao Mo Wan makes a bet with the kidnapper about whether the emperor will save her. Ye Jun Qing goes to save her.
