Too boring!!

I honestly thought Hu Yi Tian chose a nice character to play after a long time. This role is different from the previous Cold ML roles he have played. This is one of those dramas i waited for every week to watch the latest episodes. The plot looked promising and unique in the starting. But when i almost decided that this drama is going to be one of my fav C dramas, it started falling apart. All the clichés like breakup, misunderstanding, cheating, rebound relationships etc.. started appearing one by one in the second half. That unique plot which i loved in the start lost its charm and started to disappear. I felt like dropping it many times but gave chances hoping for the plot revival.

What i liked through out the drama is that:
- Relationships may not be forever and it is okay to forget and move on.
- Showing that a success/ failure is not the end and there is no guarantee it would last longer.
- There are some relations which you cannot name or describe, they can only be felt.

What i liked in the first half but started to dislike the same in the second half of the drama:
- FL. I assumed that she is a strong person (although appeared a bit spoilt in the start) who can empathize with ML's situations and dreams. But she kept interfering in ML's career and doubting him for silly reasons even though they've dated long enough for her to know his character. All she know is to solve things through connections and money. Even when ML said many times that he can succeed even without her HELP she secretly does things her way and expects ML to be thankful and accept it. Although it is good to support her partner, she has to at least believe in his potential to rise from the failures.

What i disliked about this drama:
- The way they showed rebound relations. One day a person takes divorce and the next day he/she fall in love with another person. Not even once, but they showcased this concept through out the drama. I completely support withdrawing from a toxic or unhappy relationship but people need time to move on from the previous relationships and to start a new one. I hated how they showed love as a snack you can choose from the supermarket lyk 'Didn't like this flavor? go for another. Is the previous one better? you can always go back!!'
- Meng Xi. How can someone believe a person for the second time after they've cheated?? Just because her ex-bf came back, said sorry, planning to buy her dream house if she is ready to marry him, she forgave him and immediately married him. When she later realized he never changed she divorced him and within no time fell in love with Xiao Bao. And i'm not even surprised when this happened because Xiao bao himself did the exact same thing. When his marriage was cancelled he started hitting on Meng Xi as if he doesn't even care abt his ex-gf in the first place.
- Nosy Parents. I am completely against when parents try to rule their children's life especially when they are adults and this is exactly what happened in Kong hao's life. His mother is totally against his and Yao Jia Ren's relationship, just because she is not from wealthier family. Also his parents forcing him to do only certain type of job is even more unfair. The moment he tries to tell them he wanted to live in his own way, they emotionally blackmail him and try to win over the arguments.

This would have been a good drama if they stopped it at one point of time. The more the number of episodes grew, the more the plot was messed up. I honestly don't recommend it anyone unless they are a fan of ML/FL and can watch a below average drama for them.

It’s just basic to be very honest. I mean I expected more since it was Hu Yi Tian. But the character he played her doesn’t just suit him. The FL was too spoilt and annoying , her acting friend was too entitled and also the last friend was too dull. The storyline was too dragged and most of the things were really unnecessary. The FL got angry with the ML a lot because he didn’t want to work for her father’s company which is understandable but he too was too pitiful.
All in all it wasn’t a drama I enjoyed and would like to finish

Disappointing!

I can't explain how frustrating this drama was. At first, I was really into it and excited as I really enjoy business-type dramas. The first half was great! Likeable characters and a realistic pacing. But then they really ruined it with the second half. There were just so MANY UNNECESSARY AND WEIRD PLOT POINTS THAT MADE ME ????? Jia Ren suddenly became a travelling sugar baby, Cheng Xin lost all the character development she was working towards, and Zheng Qian became even flatter than he was in the beginning. It was like the script was written by entirely two different people! Disappointing af

Hu Yi Tian in the role of Zheng Gan and Elaine Zhong in the role of Cheng Xin and I mostly concentrated on those two roles, the other roles were okay but those two were powerful. Hu Yi Tian is really tall and I love the part he played, that is how I imagine how a boyfriend should act. Elain Zhong, wow, girl, I'm scared of you! You played a convincing role, a woman from my heart type of role. Tomboyish if you ask me. Strong character. Your role commanded the stage! I will be rewatching this again. The visuals, the costumes especially how they dressed Elaine Zhong. Biker girl all the way. That's me when younger. I want to see more of this actress and I have already seen most of Hu Yi Tian's dramas. Thank you to all of the team and thank you for not having a sad ending.

Getting to the end of this show wasn't easy. The script is very uninteresting, the drama's characters are irritating and difficult to captivate, the plot is a sequence of possibilities for mistakes by young people and the perpetuation of mistakes in older ones. When a character starts to captivate, he soon does something that doesn't match his previous attitudes. The female lead is a nasty, spoiled girl with very annoying attitudes. The male protagonist has skills in the business world, but as a person he is stuck, distracted and slow in taking actions, which takes away all the charm of the character. The romance are miserable and the business part is superficial.
The acting isn't bad, but it leaves a lot to be desired.
The direction was not zealous in editing the drama and, therefore, the number of errors is quite expressive. Emotional scenes are two or three, the scenes comics are so forced that it is impossible to laugh. Some characters, like Kong Hao's parents, disappear throughout the drama. The ending isn't even the worst.
The soundtrack isn't bad.

Cuz that's how amazing youth is!

To me this is the best Chinese drama so far. The story is great. I mean it's like one big story of some friends realising and striving towards their dream ( kind of like fight for my way) with many mini stories strudded along the way. Trust me you will never get bored.
The Male lead is one of a kind. He gives equal attention to his dreams and girlfriend, is always there for his family and friends, is really mature and respectful. In short just a dream come true.
The Female lead ......well, she is the only daughter of a CEO (rich girl- middle class boy, I cannot tell you how refreshing this is) she is a little immature (a spoilt brat tbh) in the beginning, but mind you she has like the best character development ever and is always supportive of the male lead, so just hang in there for 7-8 eps.
The supporting characters are great too but I didn't care much for the second couple ?
Some people are giving it a low rating because the subs take a lot of time to be uploaded but in my opinion it's more than worth the watch so just go for it!?

Okay hmm, flashbacks as a start... I don't like them but it's fine, they aren't taking much time.

WHAT? wow, that's the first meeting of them. Toilet not pleasant place writer chose for the first encounter of our destined to together lead. So I don't read the synopsis but it seems rich girl and boy from an ordinary family story.
Lmao, I never thought I would lose my mind in the first five minutes of any show.. who does that? dancing wearing that costume in front of the whole college of your bf's graduation is so embarrassing lol. Okay at this point I was enduring it... but wait now I lost it she asked him to propose to her, girl this isn't the way to do this.. ah I don't think he is yet ready but how can he refuse in front of all people lol. Right after graduation isn't the right time to marry.. don't you have a career that will help you to have a stable life? Now it seems for FL marriage is the ultimate goal of her life #richspoiledbrat
10 minutes into the show.. damn FL is going overboard with her acting. Great! at least Yi Tian isn't cold this time, I was worrying that he might get hypothermia by his coldness every time (Please ignore my bad humor.. coz it sucks lol) well good to see he's smiling and yeah not stereotyped ML ops I forgot to mention he loves money.
OH NO, but I see that coming... his friend lend him a suit as he is going to meet her father of course something is going to happen right? his attire is ruined.. now someone fainted on road, how can we expect him not to help? even if there are dozens of people around just watching not even calling the ambulance.. wait is this person I see is he her dad?
Daebak! my instincts were right... it's her dad. Ah, misunderstanding a bad first impression as a future son-in-law lol.
He lost his friend's suit... I'm feeling bad for his friend lol. Poor him he used his whole year's savings to buy it... lmao I guess his friend isn't lucky he just helped a guy to confess to his girlfriend, I'm cracking up everyone now eating together after that mess and happily xD
LOL, the ending of the episode.

Okay so my thoughts after the first episode, as this was live commentary lol.

Starting was sure whole mess, they had a series of misfortune in just one episode. It's my first time seeing FL not that impressed by her acting but I'll let it pass as it's just one episode. Talking about Yi Tian it's good to see him out of the coldness as I said before. Well, we are missing all processes of falling in love, as the story direct jumps on the proposal. I'm foreseeing many misunderstandings and breakups plus 47 episodes making me worried lol at a first glance this doesn't seem to be my cup of tea, better not continue anymore.
