Too boring!!

I honestly thought Hu Yi Tian chose a nice character to play after a long time. This role is different from the previous Cold ML roles he have played. This is one of those dramas i waited for every week to watch the latest episodes. The plot looked promising and unique in the starting. But when i almost decided that this drama is going to be one of my fav C dramas, it started falling apart. All the clichés like breakup, misunderstanding, cheating, rebound relationships etc.. started appearing one by one in the second half. That unique plot which i loved in the start lost its charm and started to disappear. I felt like dropping it many times but gave chances hoping for the plot revival.

What i liked through out the drama is that:
- Relationships may not be forever and it is okay to forget and move on.
- Showing that a success/ failure is not the end and there is no guarantee it would last longer.
- There are some relations which you cannot name or describe, they can only be felt.

What i liked in the first half but started to dislike the same in the second half of the drama:
- FL. I assumed that she is a strong person (although appeared a bit spoilt in the start) who can empathize with ML's situations and dreams. But she kept interfering in ML's career and doubting him for silly reasons even though they've dated long enough for her to know his character. All she know is to solve things through connections and money. Even when ML said many times that he can succeed even without her HELP she secretly does things her way and expects ML to be thankful and accept it. Although it is good to support her partner, she has to at least believe in his potential to rise from the failures.

What i disliked about this drama:
- The way they showed rebound relations. One day a person takes divorce and the next day he/she fall in love with another person. Not even once, but they showcased this concept through out the drama. I completely support withdrawing from a toxic or unhappy relationship but people need time to move on from the previous relationships and to start a new one. I hated how they showed love as a snack you can choose from the supermarket lyk 'Didn't like this flavor? go for another. Is the previous one better? you can always go back!!'
- Meng Xi. How can someone believe a person for the second time after they've cheated?? Just because her ex-bf came back, said sorry, planning to buy her dream house if she is ready to marry him, she forgave him and immediately married him. When she later realized he never changed she divorced him and within no time fell in love with Xiao Bao. And i'm not even surprised when this happened because Xiao bao himself did the exact same thing. When his marriage was cancelled he started hitting on Meng Xi as if he doesn't even care abt his ex-gf in the first place.
- Nosy Parents. I am completely against when parents try to rule their children's life especially when they are adults and this is exactly what happened in Kong hao's life. His mother is totally against his and Yao Jia Ren's relationship, just because she is not from wealthier family. Also his parents forcing him to do only certain type of job is even more unfair. The moment he tries to tell them he wanted to live in his own way, they emotionally blackmail him and try to win over the arguments.

This would have been a good drama if they stopped it at one point of time. The more the number of episodes grew, the more the plot was messed up. I honestly don't recommend it anyone unless they are a fan of ML/FL and can watch a below average drama for them.

One of the best music survival show!!

This show reminded me once again that age is just a number. Can't believe how talented and creative these teens are, especially KOKI. He is a dancing machine disguised as a fluffy kid <3
Coming to the concept, there have been many music survival reality shows in S. Korea. But personally this has attracted my attention as PSY being one of the main judge and producing his first Boy Band. I am a big fan of PSY's music and his fondness towards the artists of P Nation. From the first episode i could see his enthusiasm and joy for the upcoming talents and super amazing performances. As for JYP, i am admiring many of JYP nation groups, artists and listening to their songs.
My ult bias from this show is Daniel Jegal. He is the most creative person among the contestants and i was soo upset when he got eliminated. There were many contestants who despite having talent got eliminated and i don't want to question the producer's judgement on that as they have to consider many facts and stats before taking the decision.
I was so happy seeing some of my fav songs being performed here and getting remixed. Also many new songs got showcased which were composed and written by the contestants. The most memorable song for me in this show is GAEHWA, its music and lyrics are unique and mesmerizing. The final lineup of the bands have amazing talented boys and some of my fav contestants. I am going to root for the 2 bands (PSY and JYP) who are going to debut in the future. <33

Disturbing Drama

When i started this drama i felt the plot was unique and different from the cute C drama rom coms. The FL's character was shown as strong and cold in the start which is the case with most MLs in the dramas. But i was WRONG!!! This was the worst C drama of the year. The ML was so good to her in the starting and started to harass her physically towards the end just because she was just talking to her ex.. Also he cannot understand that she was meeting her ex just because of her job and make a fuss abt it daily. WTF!!!

And the FL just bears all this because he was facing some psychological issues. The writers of this dramas created an awesome excuse for the stupid and toxic behaviors of all characters: "PSYCHOLOGICAL ISSUES" . I mean, ppl may have mental issues but that doesn't mean they can behave rudely with whomever they like and do whatever they want. The ML's mom is mean and domineering to him because she had a unhappy married life. The FL is cold and rude in the start coz she had a trauma from past. The FL turns into a jerk because he didn't receive love from parents in his childhood.

It was really disturbing to watch the ML physically forcing himself on the FL in the name of love. I hate how childish he was and she still accepted him.. Now for me he is one of the worst male leads in dramas.

I don't recommend this drama to anyone and if somebody is currently watching it and wondering whether to continue or not, i suggest DROP IT!!

Disappointing!!

As this is the third part of The Eternal Love series my expectations were high. They introduced many new elements in the second part, so i was hoping for a unique story this time too. The wait for the third season is now meaningless to me. I personally like to watch women empowerment and gender equality concept dramas, so this attracted my attention. But the scenes were repetitive and also the concept of 'women ruling' was already shown in 'The Romance of Tiger and Rose'. It started off well but somehow lost its charm halfway through the drama. The parellel universe thing was already hinted at in the past seasons and soul exchange was also shown in the first season.. so, i was not surprised at that. Some episodes felt like fillers and reducing the number of episodes would have helped. The ending was too rushed and the realisation by Qu xiang tan at the last moment and the behind story between her and Mo liang cheng felt awkward. The purpose of adding the kid character was pointless, they should have added few more scenes of him with the main leads. I felt like they were using the kid as a reason just to extend the emotional conversations. I'm guessing they will create a plot about the son and his powers as shown in the ending scene in the next season (if there is going to be one).

Being a fan of the cast from past two seasons i'm happy that they retained most of the actors. The chemistry between the main leads was something that made me complete three seasons. Their acting and romance was more natural in this season and Liang Jie played the dual role very convincingly. Even though there were many romantic/kiss scenes in this drama i didn't feel the spark unlike the past seasons. While i was watching this season many times i felt like rewatching the first season as that was way more funnier and refreshing. The main couple grew on me and now i'm hoping they get cast in a modern drama as the main leads!!

I tried my very best to complete this drama while it is on air as there are chances i would drop it if i had to binge watch this one.
So to conclude if they are going to release the fourth season i'll probably not watch it.

A heavy dose of fluff

I've binge watched this drama and it's a kind of drama i would like to pick up when i crave for C-fluff. There are many heart-fluttering and sweet moments of the main and second couple. I'll just mention what i liked and disliked about this drama.

I liked:
- Strong FL and SFL who are independent in their decisions and career
- Chemistry and romance of the Main Leads
- Cute storyline of the second leads
- The gaming squad (i'm missing them even while writing this review)
- Comedy throughout the drama
- Sweet side characters
- Not-so-cold Male lead and his sudden smiles :3
- Friendship between the gamers (especially ML and Hierophant)
- Character Development

I disliked:
- Video game scenes (i didn't enjoy them as the quality is not quite good and that game not just my type)
- Unnecessary clichés which felt like they r forced into the very well running plot.

I really enjoyed this drama.. it would have been a 9/10 for me if they have not added those random clichés. But i'll still recommend it anyone who like to watch a good Rom-Com C drama!!

A mediocre drama

Doom at your service is one of the most hyped drama in recent times, and i am also one of them who created the hype. Honestly speaking this drama was appealing to me in first few episodes because of the star studded cast and the dramatic suspense created around the main leads, but started to disappoint me after 4th episode. This is nowhere near my expectations and the story is too predictable.

First of all, the acting is up to the mark!! I can't say it was mind blowing but they were able to indulge me into the story to some extent. I didn't feel anyone's acting exaggerating and good that most of the actors were chosen based on their potential. The only two characters i couldn't connect to were Deity and Kevin.. I felt it was unnecessary to add those extra converastions between kevin and main leads. It was meant to be an emotional thing but turned out to be a joke for me as i kept finding loopholes in those scenes.

The deity girl failed to impress me from the start. Since it is an imporatant role it would have been better if someone mature had played that role. This character was too childish and annoying to watch. There is room for improvement in her acting as i only noticed two expressions: plain (mostly) and the smiling one on her face. Also it felt like she was experimenting with the main leads story just to see how it turns and then in the end taking credits by saying that she knew everything.. she says whatever according to the situation which contrasts her previous words. To say bluntly she is the only character because of whom the story messed up like crazy, and I still couldn't understand the reason behind some of her dialogues and actions ughh!!

The visuals of the main leads and second leads are mesmerizing. I was swayed away by Myul mang's smirk and Cha joo ik's voice. I have to say that i've completed this drama without dropping for the second leads. They have a better storyline and chemistry than the main leads. I'm satisfied about how their story moved forward and the love/dating scenes were not rushed unlike the main leads. Unexpectedly Cha joo ik became the show stealer for me <3

These type of fantasy genre dramas always has something nonsensical and those logics may not be the best fit for the story. But to me there has to be atleast a strong plot to ignore such unsound reasons and this drama lacks such plot. Second half was totally screwed up and the drama barely survived because of the second leads. The ending was to me was a mix of two other fantasy dramas i've watched. I was expecting a happy ending from the first episode and it exactly ended how i thought it would after watching 2nd episode..how disappointing!!

Overall to conclude in a sentence it is an average and predictable drama which has everything but story!!

Slow paced

The drama has a potential to be a good melodrama but overall it became too slow paced and there were unnecessary fillers which felt draggy. The time skips were too fast and the story seems be lacking a solid chemistry between the two. Was excited to see the Main cast together after Goblin, but the excitement faded away 15min into the movie. This was a tough watch for me considering that i liked Jung Hae In's slice of life dramas like One spring night and Something in the rain.
what i liked about this drama: Cast !! That's all!!
what i didn't like: story which didn't connect the time skips, their lack of communication, gloomy music, side characters with no use to the story at all.
Wouldn't recommend who are not into slow paced or the fans of main cast!!

One time watch

I randomly stumbled upon this drama while finding for new dramas in Netflix, so i gave it a try. The first 2-3 episodes pulled me into the story and grabbed my attention. the first half of the drama was interesting and liked the silly antics of ML (Kim Nam Gil). It was my first time watching Kim Nam Gil's drama and tbh i felt like his acting in this drama was quite okayish. in the first half his acting elevated the storyline but at some point of time i lost interest in the story and even his acting in the second half felt mediocre.
There were many scenes that felt illogical for me:
1. when he is about to treat the king his hand tremored from what is shown as the child's death. but she is alive and waiting for him?? then if we consider that his hand tremored coz of ill intentions of the doctor then why didn't his hand tremor all those nights he treated for rich and in those cases he treated the higher officials in modern world?? *confused*

2. When mak gae (moon ga young) also can time travel to modern world from joseon (ep 16), why did he leave her with doo chil in joseon and come back to modern world with FL after his humiliation by minister of war?? it seems like they know the game that if he held onto somebody they would also time travel with him.

3. Why did Heo Jun knowingly didn't promote Heo Im further than superintendent when Heo Jun is shown as a fair guy. it seems he also came to know about heo im's ability to time travel when he saw that needle box with heo im while treating the king. so what made him feel like heo im is not potential enough for a promotion before that??

Also i felt like there were some unnecessary fillers and cliches just to extend the story. Lyk why would they kill Ha ra's character when she is doing all fine after surgery just to add extra emotional trauma to FL and ML and make the entire episode about FL feeling bad about not saving Ha ra when its not even FL's fault!! *sigh*

Anyway for me it was a tough watch from second half. Had to skip some scenes and fast forward it just to make it to my completed list.
