I'm seriously attacked by the visuals. For a drama consisting of four episodes around eight minutes, I absolutely loved it. The acting is excellent and it really shocked me because I walked in expecting a mediocre mess since other web dramas have disappointed me. For the concept, it reminded me of the anime Death Parade partially due to the bar setting and bartenders' personalities and supernatural abilities. These cat-like bartenders help humans with their grief and problems through alcoholic drinks suited to their predicament. The concept is very playful and made me have fun while watching. Secondly, I need to address Kim Wook's acting since he really caught my attention and respect. In episode one, he body swaps with a female customer and the way he portrayed the female customer in his body was impressive. Otherwise, him acting like a cat is hilarious and quite adorable. Overall, he's a really talented actor and definitely deserves more recognition in his line of work. In conclusion, my final rating is seven. It's partly due to the short length of the drama and the lack of development of characters. I would have loved to seen Taste of Cat as a full-blown drama and I know it would be a huge hit if properly executed. For a short web-drama of four episodes, there's really nothing more you can ask for; my expectations were met. The acting is of excellent quality and the cinematography is crisp. I fully suggest watching this gem.
