5/10 - Hmmmmmm, all signs point to this drama ending on a whimper.

Russia for 3 years. My first thought was I hope it was not the horrible area Masashi was before. Though it did give him the daring push to finally make his moves! I mean a kiss and proposing! Even with Harumi saying no-no and denial. Giving him every possible out. Sorry Masashi, but Harumi has clearly given you her answer before you even officially asked.

I love the study group sessions and Harumi's house! It's so cute and fun. Though I find it so weird that because Mo-mo is a disgraced cram teacher that they have to hide out at Harumi's to study in the first place.

Also. Who else doesn't think that Mo-mo would have landed Masashi already if she would have acted like her true self. Though Masashi might be a bit of a masochist and only allowed himself to pine for the one women he can't land.

Miwa's reaction to Masashi finally making it clear to Harumi and proposing was priceless. I can see why others want Miwah and Masashi to end up together. I was really hoping that Tsukasa and Miwa would have figured it out and finally been there true selves with each other. Leading to them really dating. I still think those two are meant to be. Tsukasa and Miwa fools!

Poor Yamashita. He got the end of the stick in this story. I love his banter with Yuri though! It's so perfect! Especially the delivery of his punch line and Yuri's reaction to it. He wasn't kidding. He got a fill.

Overall plenty of fun and drama. Masashi proposes. Gorilla guy loses Harumi and spills the beans to Yuri. Yuri confesses, and he gets a positive hug back from Harumi. Which he knows is a pretty good sign and big reaction from her! The birthday party! All the other cram teachers hugging him. This episode was loaded with feel good moments!

And then that ending. *sighs* That's just too much. I mean for this drama to take it to that kind of level was too much. The studying bits already had me bored, but to cut into the good bits with a accident for Harumi is way too much. The test itself would have been more than enough of a stresser. To have him testing while she's in the hospital is waste of time! They plot and the love story could be spent on other things. Oh, well.

The biggest thing with this whole twist is that this is a clear sign that the last episode is going to waste so much of the viewers time. Because it's going to cut in to better stories and times for Yuri and Harumi. Mark my words. They'll have tons of misses and denials. Then right at the end have a big kiss. Unless the writers are total jerks and keep them completely apart, but I doubt that. Still side characters will lose out and the HEA will be wasted! Wasted and rushed.
