I think this only works without seeing season 2.
I like a lot this drama, but only is coherent with season 2...Therefore, I will not make any comment in this review. Those I will leave them to the review in the second part, because it is the necessary continuation and closing.
I know that the production of this kind of dramas is different, so i can only say that this review only makes sense if i write it after watching the second part. I wished there was a third, but with the second we can rest and smile.
OVERALL - Please watch this series. The acting, the simplicity and the story are worth of your time.

A very short but also very cute GL drama! The office setting was nice and the female leads
have a great chemistry together. There were
many sweet moments, which made my heart
flutter and even I was feeling butterflies in
my stomach hehe. The story is about Jung
Ah, who on the first day of work falls head
over heels for her manager Lee Ji Won. Her
daydreaming about her during work hours
was just so cute! The story ended with a big
cliffhanger but luckily there is a 2nd season.
I rate Am I The Only One with Butterflies? 9/10.

These three episodes perfectly encapsulate the meaning of the title.
This first season is cute as a short standalone story with minimal plot to speak of and I think it's served best that way.Jung Ah is just a girl trying to navigate her feelings as she starts her new job at a cosmetics and beauty company, which is really just the backdrop to her internal monologue rather than a character unto itself. And yet, it still feels cozy and comforting to see everyone there. The atmosphere has a warm glow to it that makes the characters seem at home in this space they spend so much of their time in.
Framing the story as a series of social media posts Jung Ah is making about her office life is also a nice touch for these bite-sized episodes, particularly when the final credits show the commenters speaking on behalf of the audience watching. It builds a kind of rapport between the viewers and the characters that is charming to see.
The final episode leaves us at a question - the same question that the title asks and that the main character ponders throughout each encounter with her manager - and it works surprisingly well. But as for the answer...

Cute but really short
Finding a gl drama is realy, really hard, and that's kinda sad. But because of this i know i have to be a bit gentle with the reviews and just be satisfied with what i have. I found thi drama really cute and soft, and the fact the main character is shy and sweet, i really appreciated. But i can't give more than 6,5 cause even tho it's a sweet drama and the acting wasn't bad, it lacks of story, it doesn' really have a plot, and it goes really fast , too fast in my opinion. Also the characters aren't described a lot, so you barely remember their name in the end of the series. I think that all this flaws are because of the lenght of the drama, it's too short so it doesn't let you get affectionated to the characters and also, it doesn't have any character development or changing of the plot, or basically something that makes you shiver. I didn't hated it, but i didn't loved it at the same time. As a wlw girl i really hope that the wlw rappresentation in damas can improve, i'm really happy about the mlm rappresentation that we have in the media, but wlw rappresentation is most of the time left on the sidelines. Was this review helpful to you?
