65 million years ago, the immensely powerful Druidon Tribe reigned over Earth. The tribe abandoned the planet when a gigantic meteor approached, vowing that they would return as the rulers of the world again as they headed into space. The Ryusou Tribe who battled against the Druidon Tribe stayed on earth, along with their dinosaur companions, the Kishiryu. The Ryusou Tribe withstood the ice age brought on by the gigantic meteor. They placed their Kishiryu companions into the Ryusouls and sealed them in temples throughout the world. Time has moved on and the Druidon Tribe has returned after fighting in harsh environments across space, totally increasing their powers. The Ryusou Tribe that kept the Earth safe in the past have selected new knights: the Ryusoulgers. They have been revived by their mission as the battle against the Druidon Tribe begins. Story:
Honestly, this show really has some ups and downs in the story department. I think that this storyline would have done with only about 30 episodes. The weird part is that the first ten episodes felt like they were meant to be episodes towards the middle of the show because they felt like they assumed that you cared for the characters without even knowing them. The best parts were the Gaisoulg arc when Naga showed up in the show and the final arc with Eras. They were really episodes where I wanted to continue watching.

Characters:
The characters were very generic Toku characters. One note and hardly ever showed a different side of them. Most did not have real progression and were, for the most part, the same from beginning to end.

Acting/Cast:
The cast, in general, was good. I think there is not really much to complain about. However, Osaki Ichika really is a great actress. In the end, she really showed her great acting when feeling emotional and I have to applaud that. Ichinose Hayate also had a couple of episodes where he showed how good he was at acting.

Music:
The theme song, in my opinion, was actually really good. The closing dancing song, however, was really annoying. There was one episode in which I thought it was good, however. The one where they show that this is actually a video from Ui.

This is my second Dino sentai series that I've watched fully (I only knew Zyuranger and Abaranger through their respective crossover V-cines and cameos) and I have to say that I really love the series a lot. I guess there's something about Dino sentai series that makes you keep wanting to continue watching the series till the end...

Story-wise, the series was quite decent. While there are parts in the series plot were left hanging/unanswered and never addressed again, there are still some parts that were really written well. That aside, I really love Koh. While he's not like the usual traditional Red leaders where they actively assumed the leadership role, he still shared a lot of the traits most often associated with a lot of Red leaders of the past sentai. And he was really the heart of the team that binds everyone together. It's surely a good change after the last Dino Red leader aka Kiryu Daigo from Kyoryuger, who came off a bit too strong for me with his one-man show most of the time.
