What You Believe (2018)

Very interesting concept that’s different from the normal BL

I think a lot of people missed the whole point of the short film and that’s why the rating is so low (I could be wrong, but I see a bunch of people on social media very confused about the film & i saw some say it wasn’t that great. I personally think it was pretty good for a short film… if you understand it). I definitely think if they had the funds & time, they could make this into a longer more attention grabbing psychological film but, I digress. This is my first review so apologies in advance if it’s not that great ><

It’s a short film so I’m not going to critique it harshly, I think the actors did a good job & they executed the concept well. I definitely think this was an interesting theme and It held my attention the whole time. It’s definitely not the best short film Strongberry has released but it’s still worth watching! ^^

When I watched the first time, I found the short more and more stupid, stupid to the point where it was almost funny and constantly jumping between drama, comedy and stupidity. But when I thought about that story, read a review on MDL, I wondered why his classmate was so pointlessly explaining quantum mechanics using the example of a cat in a box. Who has ever encountered, seen, read or studied this, when a particle is thrown at an obstacle and it avoids it from above and below, it simply develops, always the way we look at the matter ... so I thought the conclusion was GENIUS and I would agree with the opinion that a lot of viewers don't have time to perceive it precisely because it is a very complex field of science, not for us "average viewers" and I could be wrong, but maybe Ji Ho didn't leave the two of them with that in the very end that the friend got what he wanted, but that he FINALLY LEARNED THE MATERIAL FOR THE NEXT EXAM* ("... The cat can be both alive and dead. We can only decide when we open the box ourselves and see what the reality is. Then it will depend on how the observer reacts.
