The second season of ATEEN didn't focus on the friendship between the girls, which was unfortunate. The whole drama was trying to make a great romantic story out of nothing sprinkled with some school drama and growing pains.

The love stories were cute, but not as good as they were in the first season. The love triangle was weak too. So, there were few twists when it came to the romance part. Plus, the main Hana of the first season was pushed aside and her love story was just a mess.

At least the conclusion was bitter sweet and it feated a drama about teens and their lives.

So, five out of ten.

this season has disappointed me a bit. i had expected better storyline for this than the first season, but it eventually got lost within the middle, and i find it unfortunate, especially the unforseen break up of siwoo and doha. this show had a great potential from season 1, but i can't say the same for season 2. anyways, i love the transition of them adding new characters, although i was still rooting for min and kimha. the second season was also cute, but i don't think it will surpass the first season in everything.

I like it!

I enjoyed this season as much as the first one. It was very light, fun and I can relate to it a lot, reminds me of school days. It was sad that Do Ha Na wasn't one of the main leads anymore since I like her character a lot. But then I do like new characters as well. I do think the storyline in the first season is better as the friendship between the three girls is more focused and the 2nd season feels like more basic, but other than that I like it and enjoy it :) I also love the way they portray siblings relationship, relatable!! You can enjoy this drama while studying, working or in the middle of something since every episode was short.

If you like a simple teen drama story, you suppose to watch this. I've watched A-Teen S 1 and I love it! When I heard there will be s2, I was excited. After I watched it, s2 is absolutely better. In S1 had so many twist plot, but s2 was like a simple teenager drama. I'm a university student now when I watched A-teen, especially s2 make me remember about my high school because most of the story was relatable to high school stories. I was a little disappointed because Do Hana and Nam Siwoo were hardly seen because I love Do Hana in s1 and one of the reasons I watch s2 because I want to see Do Hana. However, there were 2 new casts: Ryu Joo Ha and Cha Ah Hyun and they made the story perfect. At first, I thought that Kim Hana will be together with Ha Min, but after at the end of the episode Kim Hana end up with Ryu Johaa, I was happy and relieved that Kim Hana with Ryu Jooha because Ryu Jooha protected Kim Hana well and always made her happy, they were cute together, otherwise in s1 Ha Min made Kim Hana sad and uncomfortable. Gi Hyun sister, Cha Ah Hyun was really cute and made the story enjoyable and funny. Although this season ended very fast, I enjoyed all the stories from every episode. This drama had a simple story, enjoyable to watch in your daily time and didn't need to put a lot of effort to understand the story.

a bit of a let down

I did enjoy less this second season of a-teen.

The second season didn't focus on the friendship between the girls. The whole drama was more romance oriented but i didn't really work for me. I wish the show focused more on the struggle of final year (finding what the do to in the future and the insecurity related).

Plus Do Hana was totally pushed aside or i tought that her insecurities could really have been developped.
Her and Siwoo are hardly never present.

Even tought, the new charactere are a nice addition

Firstly, I really liked the cast and how they really suited their characters like it's really them. How not everyone is just anyone but everyone have their worries and not everything can be solved the same way as the other. Everyone has different interest and sometimes tertiary studies are not suited for you. Uncertain crushes, doing your best and more.

The storyline itself is a nice and an above average plot, its enjoyable to watch and and has high rewatch value as some scenes are really cute and can be watched multiple times. I totally fell for the actors and shipped at least 2 pairs of couples.

The OST is really enjoyable too especially as I'm around the same age as the actors, so I relate to the songs about our uncertain future and friends. Really love 9Teen and highly recommend it to everyone to take a look at the trans of the song while listening to it.

This show continues to be a really sweet look at the life of high school teens, their relationships, and friendships. Personally, I think this season is is even better then the first. I enjoy the new characters that were added this season they brought a different dynamic they bring but the focus is still on the core cast. I like the direction Kim Hana's character went in and her relationship with Joo Ha was really sweet. I also really like that the show explores the options high schooler's have in there senior year and that not everyone needs to or even should go to college. There was much less Do Hana it seems like she was barely in this season but honestly with the story line they gave her I'm glad they kept it short. It just a really short sweet show an easy watch or rewatch.

Seriously, what went wrong with this?

Seriously, what went wrong with this? If I DROP a show AT 18/20, because I can't no longer withstand it, if I wish to fastforward during a TWELVE MINUTE episode, then there's something seriously wrong. This must be officially the worst thing ever done by 'Playlist Global'...

At first, I was still riding on the season 1 wave, without noticing that something was wrong. After a few episodes, I found myself browsing through Comments, instead of watching: Stumbled upon one, noting that DoHa was no longer the lead, but support... And realized it was true. It was KimHa who became the new lead, hence the sudden... Boredom?

I don't know how else to describe it, the emptiness. At first, I didn't understand why did DoHa drop the hot guy. He's the almost only male on the cast not looking feminine, and the only one having sexy voice. With her reason being that she "needs more time for herself"? What a cr*p. Exactly what DoHa was NOT about. At least 1st season DoHa... With this couple (more or less) gone, I started to focus on what we actually COULD watch, here. And it was... not much, to say the truth.

There were whole episodes that consisted of pretty much nothing of note. Being short was never a weakness before. This season? Despite adding new characters, somehow it all makes a material that's ENTIRELY skippable. Huh? Seriously, what went wrong with this? Aren't GiHyun & BoRam just as adorable as before? Why am I not enjoying them, at least? I kinda am, but I watch their scenes thinking: I do like these two, just this particular scene, I wouldn't specifically miss it. But I think it EVERY scene. And, in contrast to DoHa, it makes no difference whether KimHa jumps into Min's arms, or rejects Min.

Instead of stretching for 20 episodes, which proved to be unbearable to finish (after watching 12-15 of them, each new episode I literally prayed for ANY kind of ending, just as long as the episode I was currently watching would become FINAL one) this whole season could wrapped itself into one little, disposable ball. Just throw it out and start again from s01 end. Or let it end on it.

Best and Most Realistic Teen Webdrama You'll Find!

Best webdrama out there, hands down. Confused by all these other reviews! Season 2 >>>>>> Season 1 by a long shot. Season 1 was more a 6.5-7/10. Season 2 has no cheesy romance lines, no relationship games, a little bit of realistic high school petty drama, and most importantly a lot of realistic teen growth/angst. I definitely acted like them back when I was in my teens (so it annoys me when other reviewers expect them to act like mature, fully developed adults).

If you were most fascinated by the teen romance and triangles from Season 1, then this won't be for you.

If you're looking for a realistic yet lighthearted teen web drama about life struggles, academic stress, goal/soul searching, classmate jealousy, and such, then I highly recommend this. I found myself relating a lot to the struggles the characters experience in school. The plot is well-written and flows naturally. There is only a small emphasis on the romance/crushes, which is super realistic! Especially for your senior year in South Korea! (Did y'all not study your asses off in high school or something? Smh. I think maybe there's a cultural misunderstanding for international viewers regarding the ridiculous academic pressures and importance of senior year of high school. You have to devote your entire life to studying and college prep. There is literally so little time to date or even hang out with friends! Hence the lack of the romantic/friendship storylines! All these other reviews be making no sense.)

I also love the new Jooha and Kimha healthy relationship. No games, just simple easy confessions and wholehearted respect for one another.

Doha's and Siwoo's presence weren't missed as much as I thought they would have been.

Solid OST by SEVENTEEN! The others were great too!

-0.5 points for Hamin's romance plot. He jumped ship so fast regarding his crush. It would've made more sense if he was just chasing Kimha because it felt like he was losing control over everything (girls, grades, friends, etc.), but the drama made it seem like he was genuinely into her, which we all know from Season 1 isn't true.

It was good but I was sad that that they made do hana & nam shi woo supporting

i have to agree it was def better than season 1 but I was kinda sad that do hana and nam shi woo became supporting leads. i wanted to see more of them together and I wanted to see more fun friendship do hana, kim hana and yeo boram had. their friendship was really cute but we only saw a bit of it but I liked it although I was sad that ha min didn't end up with anyone. anyways that's my short review, this is my first time reviewing a drama so I'm sorry if it's bad. overall i'd recommend you to watch it if you want to watch something that's not over 1 hour each episode

Sumpah web dramanya bagus banget menurut saya.
Kalo aku bilang bagus terus orang lain bilang kurang bagus........Ya gimana orang beda-beda.......
Saya disini hanya memberi pendapat saya.
Sama seperti drama lain yang saya review, maaf kalau kata-kata reviewnya sama.
Tapi emang web dramanya bagus kok gk boong.
Saya rekomendasikan juga kalau web drama korea banyak yang bagus, tidak hanya drama tv kabel saja.

A fine web drama.

If you asked me my opinion on season 2 when i was only at episode 6 I'd probably say it's boring and seems pointless, but as I kept watching it I realized it was much much much better than season 1, the breakup was pointless a bit but I feel like everything wrapped up well and ended up working out in the end for everyone. I'm also not sure if it's because it was season 2 but I found myself not hating Min anymore. I was frustrated a bit at certain parts though, like when Kimha just let Minji walk all over her and didn't fight back (adopting Dohas thing basically, it drove me nuts then too). I wish there was more Doha screen time, it felt like she was shoved to the back when there could have been good parts for her in the plot, it seems like she totally disappeared. I think Choi Bomin plays similar roles from what I've seen of him but he does play those roles well. I'd recommend you to watch this season a lot more than the first one, and I think you could get away with not watching the first one, all I have that makes the first one nice is nostalgia of watching it when it first came out, season 2 is objectively better.
