I’m sorry I tried to love this show. I think Riley is an amazing actor and uhhh hello he is handsome as well. I didn’t feel the chemistry. It felt like the female lead didn’t have that UFF when it came down to the chemistry between them. This show felt stiff and nothing really dramatic happened well the type of dramatic I’m use to when watching dramas, it also felt like they were dragging out the storyline this show could have finished within 16 episodes. The ending was ridiculous. Gave me nothing in my opinion I literally felt like I wasted hours of my time that I could have been doing homework just to watch it only to realize the ending sucked! I‘m a fan of Riley and watched this cuz a friend recommended it to me and I really liked aircraft/airline dramas.
Riley’s acting was pretty stable but the FL‘s acting wasn’t stable at all.
There was no chemistry.
The FL is also very stubborn. Crying and breaks up with him even when everything was settled.
Don’t watch it again people, it’s a waste of time.

Waiting for Second Season
Liking Points:-1) Both lead actors - Riley and Li are great.
2) There acting is awesome. There chemistry is superb.
3) Li Ting Ting looked extremely cute in this series.
4) Riley Wang looked dapper in Pilot uniform.
5) Other supporting actors n actresses are also great.
6) Songs and background music is great.
Disliking Points:-
1) Could be shown more romance between leads.
2) Ending is questionable.
3) Are the leads are together or separated ??? Not clear in finale.
4) They confessed very late.
Please bring the Second Season. I want to know what will happen when Cheng Cheng will return after becoming Pilot ???? Will they unite or still complicated ?????

You had a boy that was passionate about being a pilot and a girl that found a passion in it and they clicked and had chemistry. They had a pass and even though it was tough in the beginning of it, they grew together and things were really progressing well. These stories do put a lot on of attention on the secondary characters too so that kind of sucks but that's the theme now a days. The story is unique, like an office love, it's an airport love, but it was slow burning and happened within minutes and was taken away within seconds. lmao. It was like the writer went through a bad break up and said "watch this" hahaha but HONESTLY. It's not a bad show. The FL and ML were great together IMO. I liked the story lines and that they got to go through different situations, like I said, it's like an office love or even hospital love except they're pilots and flight attendants. Now, the ending, I totally get it. They threw in this unnecessary drama for no absolute reason but it is what it is; I think it'll make for a great second season if they brought the two back together for fate which it seemed like to me. But yeah, there was a lot of random things throughout the show too so that'll toss you one over as well.
Love love love me some Riley Wang. His acting was sooo good in this, the dude is handsome and Li Ting Ting honestly did a great job, she was put in as an annoying character so people don't like that but honestly, she gets better and progresses, towards the end, I get it but really, let's blame the writers here my friend. She was an air head but also at the same time, they both worked well together. I personally think they had great chemistry and they had REAL KISSES. OH MAN, THOSE KISSES FAM. Also, I kinda liked all the side characters. Lol.
I liked the music lol I really did.
Overall, I wouldn't rewatch it unless they came out with a second season and I needed a refresher. Actually, I'm lying, I would go back and watch their kisses because daaaang Riley, okay sirrrr.
Anyway, each to their own for this show. I don't think anyone will LOVE it per say but you either will like it or you won't. I don't think it was a waste at all, it was a quick and easy watch to me. I love me some Riley Wang. I liked the chemistry. I liked the friendships. I liked the drama was solved quickly and etc. It was really get to the point. Except the end lol hit me up with a second season or if you need a writer @ the director.

Overall it was a great drama, but i hate the fact that it enede on a cliffhanger. At least, in my opinion, it was a cliffhanger. Not only ending on a cliffhanger, but ending on a down slope for the mc's relationship without a conclusion. I wish there was a part 2. I think 24 episodes, was not enough to tell the full story.One if the reasons I love C-dramas, K-dramas, & J-dramas over regulartv shows is because there is a story line. A plot, a beginning, middle, & end even if they have to make a second season. I didn't see an end for this one. Was this review helpful to you?
Intresting
First of all I like this drama Because all the cast are too goo all the emotion are seems realThe story and its concept is quit good the way a family thirsty for other money and take advantages of others but there daughter is very good, and strong and trying to make good condition of there family but there was also a time when her patient level finished and she choses wrong way to earn money and complete her family need.
But this drama has bad ending because at the end lovers get separated and i think this is only the negative point of this drama or may be director can make season 2 of this drama. But now there has only one season.
My honest review is you should check this drama once at your life but ya if you are not able to see bad ending then thats not for you.

Enjoyable Drama, Not Bad At All, Except
I was pleasantly surprised with this drama. The story evolves around six good looking flying cadets in their 20's who are on their journey to become full-fledged pilots. Needless to say, working in the Airlines, love, relationships, trials and tribulation during training and work become the driving force of this drama's storyline which played out really well.I found all the parental relationships with their respective children were interesting to watch and relatable. Cadet, Zhou Yu Hang who furiously pursued his Senior female Pilot/teacher had me laughing and amused. The intense Cadet, Jiang Yi Ming who detests women, whom he thinks only go after men for their money (moduled by his mother), fears to give in to his love for Meng Ran, and yet he cannot seem to ignore his deep attraction to her.
The only drawback for me was the lack of chemistry between the main leads Li Shu (Riley Wang) and Cheng Cheng (Li Ting Ting). Though I have no qualms with Li Shu's character, I found Cheng Cheng's character all over the place, displaying her immaturity throughout which was a bit hard to watch.
Hopefully, Season 2 will give us a much more passionate and well suited main leads as they mature.
Other than this, the storyline is really good and I am glad I managed to watch the 24 episodes drama, which was only 30 mins per episode. A real quick and enjoyable watch.

Viewer honest opinion
I binge-watched this series to the end, and I'm not happy about it. I get that it's genre is more drama rather than a rom-com, and that there bond to be cliffhangers. I just believe this masterpiece didn't deserve the ending it got. we as viewers don't appreciate this, for there won't be a second season. But I have to give credit where credit is due, because the storyline was beautifully thought out. I love the slow burn in both the romances and the overall drama, and as it gives great character development as it was shown by chengcheng, however I feel that there are many stories that have yet to be told which could have made a great 2nd season.This narrative took an unconventional route, as this plot provided insight into the life of a pilot and the flight crew. This series captured many moments of the pilots' rigorous training, which was shown on screen, as well as the behind-the-scenes paperwork or procedural measures they had to endure before takeoff—These were eye opener moments for me as I have never given thought of their responsibilities beyond piloting the plane.
It also addresses the challenges in their relationships, the competition among coworkers, and the numerous fears they face on a daily basis. I appreciate the effort, the level of acting, and the writing that went into making this series a masterpiece, and we, the viewers, must appreciate that the series focuses more on the inner workings of a pilot rather than being watered down by the romance, but I strongly believe that there should be a healthy balance between the two.
Even so, it is completely unfair that all but the main leads' relationship problems were resolved, or that they failed to say goodbye, we need closure! Additionally, it was unfortunate that Chengcheng was not informed that she was on the plane he was co-piloting. There was no indication that there had ever been a relationship! To end this rant I felt robbed of the many possibilities that could have been addressed in the finale.
Dislikes: (1) The main leads confessed to late,
(2) The series was drawn out in most parts
(3) there wasn't much chemistry between chengcheng and liu shu [female lead throw off the whole chemistry]
(4) the ending left alot unsaid; no closure
(5) the break up could have been more dramatic, if that was suppose to be the ending of the series
(6) supporting roles romance issues were resolved but not main leads
(7) felt like the series ended in the middle

Surprise ending and not in a good way
I’m still saddened by the ending though I am happy I gave the drama a chance. I’m a big Li Ting Ting fan from Somewhere Only We Know and True Colours! I delayed watching 9km of Love as I perceived the drama would be about the love mis-adventures of pilots and flight attendants. Well, there was a bit of that but also deeper stories.There were some very cute/funny scenes in the first couple of episodes. There were also some dark/depressing moments. I felt so bad for Meng Ran with the gambling father and her family’s poverty. There was the jerk pilot pursuing Meng who ended up being a good guy. The relationship between the older female pilot and younger male pilot was cute.
I enjoyed the slow developing romance between the ML and FL. It was a sad ending (a great ending if there was a season two). I appreciated the many well developed characters and thought the acting was superb. I enjoyed each episode and slowed my binge the last few episodes as I did not want the drama to end. I know I will rewatch the first two episodes and when they started dating. As for the rest of the drama...?
