ROMANTIC but not as thrilling as I Hear Your Voice

I came to know about this drama when I saw on one streaming site and the poster and the title quite catches my sight so I looked for the drama's info and found out that this drama is the remake of my favorite K-drama I Hear Your Voice. I decided to watch this drama for that reason as I want a fresher remake of IHYV.

The story:
While the romance part is very cute and endearing with a loyal and one-woman man male lead, I am quite disappointed that this drama does not have complicated cases like the original one. I am not here to compare but since it is a remake, I can not help but find the differences between these 2 dramas. The cases in I Hear Your Voice was complicated and full of twists if I remembered correctly. It was also thrilling with the villain's continuous killing attempts while in this drama, sometimes it is quite bland and sometimes overly dramatic. The law cases in this drama do not really evoke my interest. So, the romance is the only one that is compelling and make me want to watch the next episode. The conclusions of each law cases are also too fast and too easy. But I am not complaining since there is a good romance story told by this drama though. I have not watched the ending so I can not give comments about it.

The acting:
Applause to the female lead, Qi Wei. Her acting is so good especially the crying scenes. She is also very good at comedic scenes. She and the male lead, Jin Han, have got good chemistry. The feels are quite the same as the chemistry built by Lee Jong Suk and Lee Bo Young back then. They seem comfortable with each other. One of the main reasons I loved IHYV was that because the great chemistry between LBY and LJS. The male lead, Jin Han, he is charming as the loyal, protective, and quite calm male lead. He is natural at comedic scenes and he can balance Qi Wei's humour while for some serious scenes, he has not reached the intensity needed for the scenes. But, man, he is very good at looking as a man in love. The one that plays as Gu Si Yu (the female lead's frenemy) is also quite good while the one that acts as Yoon Sang Hyun's character is just so so or maybe he was not given much to show his acting.

The music:
As a longtime Kdrama watcher, I am still not used to Chinese OSTs so I can just say that the music fits well to the scenes.

Rewatch Value:
Because I love the romance, I will just watch the romantic scenes.

Overall:
I recommend you to watch this drama. It is easy to watch. The male lead while he is not that vrery handsome (although I admit that he is much more my type than Lee Jong Suk and he is good looking), Jin Han is very pleasing to watch. He is charming and embodies Jiang Xia role very well.

Correct if I am wrong: this drama is not dubbed unlike other Cdramas. So, we can hear the real voices of Qi Wei and Jin Han.

The drama is an adaption from the Korean Drama I hear your voice.

They have a similar storyline but parts of the show key points have been changed. The intensity of this drama is not as strong as the Korean one. I find that they focused more on the romance than the revenge or the cases.

I may have only watched till episode 32 but I think that's the last episode, watch it to find out the reason why.

The music of this drama matches well.

I must say the main actor Jin Han does look older when he wears the suit but he looks like a university student when he wears the hoodie. As for the main actress, she does look a bit way to old when both actors act scenes together. Looks aside the actress acted really well!! As for the actor, there are some points that need improvement but other than that he did well too!

The killer in this drama did not make me feel scared unlike the Korean one, could be because his acting wasn't strong enough.

The story is a little fast-paced, it's like they were rushing for an ending.

Overall, this drama is not bad, I would suggest you give it a try. Honestly, I would still prefer the Korean one as when the killer shows up it really gave me the goosebumps.

This drama was okay for me. I enjoyed the elements of law, suspense, and the way the story was crafted. I have not seen the original K-drama story, but I've heard this remake doesn't do the original justice.

Liked:
- The sinister plot and suspense was really good as were the different cases that were weaved into the story.
- I think this drama really did some justice to strong female friendships
- There was an interesting almost flashback type element that was used where the main characters could talk to other main characters but when they were younger. I thought this was a really interesting story device.

Disliked:
- A bit long, I don't think it needed to be 32 episodes
- Romantic elements were lacking, but then the story also wasn't as suspenseful as I hoped it would be
- I think that Zhang Xiao Yang's character wasn't developed enough

Watch if you want. But tbh can skip/watch the Korean version instead!

I hear your voice is one of my favorite Korean dramas and imagine my surprise learning that there was Chinese remake. I often shy away from remakes because sometimes I get disappointed that it did not get the essence of the original. Not to mention that I loved the chemistry of Lee Jong Suk and Lee Bo Young in the original drama. It didn't feel like there was an age gap. The other characters were okay was well like Lee Bo Young and Lee Da Hee's chemistry as frenemies.

So when I started watching this Chinese adaptation, I tried to lower my expectations so that I wouldn't be disappointed. And surprisingly, I wasn't disappointed. The leads of the Chinese adaptation captured the essence of the original and they had chemistry. That was surprising. Also the frenemies had also chemistry. What I didn't like in this adaptation is the villain. I feel like the villain in the original Korean drama was more convincing and that his back story had value. The villain here was evil for evil's sake. I didn't quite feel why he did everything.

Excellent remake of "I hear your voice", in a lighter and more romantic version than the original.

Plot: During an accident, a driver kills the father and wants to kill the son (the ML) but is prevented by the arrival of 2 high school girls (the FL and the FL2). The FL will then testify at the trial which will send the villain to jail for 10 years. 10 years later, the ML, now a student, finds the FL, now a lawyer, and tries to protect her from the villain's revenge, using his gift for reading people's thoughts.

PROS:
+ 3 romances in different situations: CL with age gap (6 years... basically nothing in Europe :) / CL2 after break-up but FL2 hangs on and wants to reconnect / CL3 at university with A who loves B, but B loves C, who loves FL...
+ Jin Han in ML, handsome and very convincing. I really like Jin Han, who was able to put all his talent into the character.
+ Excellent chemistry with Qi Wei in FL (lively and sparkling)
+ Good balance of romance/thriller/humor/legal cases
+ dynamic production, without length
+ Great OSTs

CONS:
- 3 product placements that are too obvious!! (Unifon masks, RIO and 666 - do these brands sponsor all the dramas on the channel???)
- Strange bias of the director to create bizarre scenes mixing young and adult characters at the end of each episode.
- Slightly disappointing final episode, using all the "emotional" scenes from the series, pretty much without anything new in this last episode. It could have been so much better!

=> I will probably watch this series again, which kept me glued to my screen during 2 days, because I really had a good time.

+ Bon équilibre romance / thriller / humour / cas juridiques
+ réalisation dynamique, sans longueur
+ Great OSTs

CONS:

Must watch

I was not very much fan of c.dramas but after watching SKATE INTO LOVE, MY LOVE ENLIGHTEN ME, UNREQUITED LOVE, MY BRIGHTEST STAR etc, my perspective of their drama has changed now. They are also very good in treating romance. (Kdramas are pro) i think SINCERE LOVE, ONE LOVE, terminologies r dying in this era. But after watching these romantic dramas..and also read chinese novels online... I think they r reviving the idea of TRUE ONE LOVE FOR LIFE ...

Regarding this drama
Mains leads acting is superb. I did not watch I HEAR YOUR VOICE. So cant compare this drama with that... But china did a pretty good job
Although JIN RIM performed very well (impressed) but Main lead boy should b more younger than female lead...(that was the main idea of real story) bc they were not looking AGE GAP COUPLE...
But just a request with production teams...please improve background music of dramas... Sometimes they totally give contrary feelings of situations... (Koreans r expert in that category)
I will recommend this drama to romance fans

Not as amazing as the original, but it's still one of the better localized adaptations I've seen.

I Hear Your Voice is one of my all time top 10 Asian dramas. Up until a few days ago I did not know this adaptation existed, so I quickly lined this up to watch during my daily workout sessions. Overall I'm glad I did. It may not be as good as the original, but I would say it's about as good as watching that for the 3rd time would be like, still plenty great.

Cdramas are inherently less intense than kdramas, but since this came out back in 2019 it's still far more intense than what we are used to today. So the general mood of the original kdrama is quite nicely transferred over. The writer made some changes, from the second case onward the cases are different, but with one big exception* most of the iconic scenes, moments and even the annoying love triangle (the only bad thing about the original) is there. The casting is good, but of course not nearly as good as in the original, but they picked fitting actors.
There is one thing the adaptation did much better than the original, which is FL is not trying to push away ML nearly as much and she completely accepts ML as her future partner. I'm not a big fan of open endings, this felt nice.

*My favorite part of the original drama was when ML pretended to have a memory loss & that is essentially completely missing from the adaptation. Sure ML does get a memory loss, but the pretending part only lasts for 5 minutes & has no romcom relevance.

“No Secrets” is a Chinese adaption from the Korean Drama “I Hear Your Voice” with similar storyline but also a plot of its own. This is a court procedural drama that has action, mystery, and romance throughout the show. The drama seems more focused on the romance and the leading couple have rapport but not great chemistry which makes most of their romantic scenes a little awkward, especially from the female lead. Since the drama is a remake, it is difficult not to compare and the Korean version comes out stronger on the revenge and court cases themes. Although the drama is not perfect, it’s still quite entertaining. Enjoy it!

I like the chemistry between two leads..
And in chinese version, the romance is more touching me..
And the age distance its only 6 years..beside korean version is 10 years..and JiangXia in chinese version almost graduate from college..
But some scenes is missing from this series.. I can't find it..make me confusing..
The song is good but sometimes a little bit annoy me.. maybe will be better if they jus add the ringtone from the musics..
And the best for this series is..they got married.. hope korean version the same..

Fora essas coisas esteve bem.
A trilha sonora é também muito envolvente. E a legenda era boa até demais.
Enfim, Lin Xingran e Jiang Xia conseguiram um lugar super super especial no meu coração.
