A few think this show is overhyped but I personally strongly disagree, I think everyone should watch it to see how they feel about the show but I think it's a masterpiece. Itaewon Class has changed my life's perspectives.

A quick review...
Wow people really get into big write up reviews, like it was an assigned something something word essay. Anyways, don't expect a great ending. I enjoyed the protagonists and the story, but the antagonists seemed underdeveloped. Some of the dialog got me so bored I would fall asleep at one or two points in the middle of each of the middle and ending episodes The ending seemed so peculiarly disconnected that the storyline seemed to be taken over by another writer or something, just to get the final episodes over with. Did a junior high school student take over the story ending? This lost 1.5 stars because of the last two episodes. It would have been nice to see a little of the the growth and development Dan Ban.Was this review helpful to you?
It was a very good but extremely flawed drama!
I watched Itaewon Class, and although the story isn't exactly original, it was told in a unique and special way. I was initially drawn to the show because of the cast, but what I loved the most was the unique vibe of the characters and the world the writer created. The drama felt so woke that I seriously wondered if it was a Kdrama or a typical American show. It starts out as a motivational story of misfits coming together to fulfill their epic revenge plans, and in the last few episodes, it focuses on romance, which felt a bit forced even though I did enjoy the couple. The villains started as run-of-the-mill entitled characters but became more over-the-top and cartoonish, especially Jang Geun Won. The ending was poorly handled, feeling like things just happened instead of following a coherent narrative flow. The saving grace might be the main character, who is extremely likable, even though at times he felt like a lucky idiot, and I say that with love. Was this review helpful to you?
I have watch so many shows over the last few weeks but this one is by far the number one pick for me. I will admit that my genre is usually historical romance but every now and then I will watch action and sometimes mystery. This one honestly tops all of those. this is an absolute mess watch. For anybody who has ever been wrong or suffered an injustice and for anyone who’s ever had others doubt their ability to succeed this one is most certainly for you. I loved it absolutely loved it.

Something different
This is one of those dramas where I skip a lot but at the same time, I love it. Even when I skip some scene I will still understand what is happening. The story itself is eye-opening. You might feel like you are connected with one of the characters. The casting is amazing. I love how there is a black person in this drama. I hardly ever seen black or African people in a Korean drama usually it all white. people. ( this is only my opinion so please don't hate me ) The rewatch value for me is half and a half...... I think maybe in a few years I come back and watch it again. This is something that is different from what I watch usually. Ost is the best. I love the intro song just listening to it makes you think back what has happened in the drama. This drama a lot talk about a topic that I haven't seen in the drama which is transgender. I feel like this drama talk about a lot of topic wherein reality is not easy to open about.sorry if this review did not help a lot.
( this is all my opinion please don't I guess me )

Watch it for how to value the time and what can you do with it.
This is fantastic most heart warming , tear jerking , motivating drama. I have had minimum of hundred times emotional tears hearing the dialogues, thats how powerful they made the performance and conversations to be.The choices ML makes and explanations he gives really a eye opener for me that made me wonder as a dilemma what would i do in those situations.
one thing which turned out to be super cliche and unbelievable was that the DanBam chef who doesnt even have any culinary experience and had been criticized for making poor dishes, Turned out to be Best pub contest winner against all best pubs in the nations among all other experienced and talented cooks , cmon give me a break .
Eventhough i was unsure how to feel about the Soo Ah character and most times i even felt bitter and kinda hated her, I would have still preferred if she and the ML got together at the end , which would be much more satisfying since he has waited and maintained celibacy for 15+ years in her life for him.
YI soo although she made a good performances and been a vital part of the success , the chemistry was really lacking between the ML and eventhough i felt they should be lovers in the beginning, in the end my mind changed and i was rooting for Soo Ah.
it was literally the title of the drama and the plot summary had made me put this on hold for 3 years from watching even though i knew this drama is a huge success.
Anyways i am glad i watched this and totally a worth a watch just for how Good they portrayed the ML role and stood up for Goodness in the world.

This Changed my Perspective on Life
This show has changed my perspective on life. Never have I watched a show and felt truly changed after watching it, but Itaewon Class achieved that for me. Yes, this story is about revenge, but it's more than that, it's a story about a guy who has a goal and believes in it so strongly, that he will do anything in his power to achieve it. And while this premise is expected of a revenge tale, he works toward his goal by creating strong bonds of trust, friendship, reliability, and a sprinkle of stubbornness. He is able to build and care for a community of friends who gather around him and support him because he returns the same care and consideration to them. He aspires for them to be better while also trusting their competence to improve. He recognizes a value in people who would otherwise be outcasted. And in that recognition, he is set so far apart from character leads in other K Dramas, and in TV in general.
He not once deviates from his ideals, values, and core essence. He, as a character is written to be very strong and focused. And Park Seo-Joon's portrayal is powerful, emotional, and real. He even inspires me to want to believe in him. I've watched so many revenge plot shows and I have never wanted a character to win as badly as I wanted him to. You can clearly tell he is a genuine character who deserves the validation of overcoming an enemy who did nothing but attempt to destroy his life. The pain he endured repeatedly was layered throughout and built up to a satisfying turning point for Sae-ro-yi in the 15th episode. The portrayal of Park Sae-ro-yi was heartfelt, emotional, and quite inspiring. That he was willing to study his opponent's success, compliment his rival's competency, and even show respect under fire...Park Sae-ro-yi is a world-class character with a heart of gold.
Jo Yi-Seo is another character who captured my heart. She stood for Sae-ro-yi from the moment she liked him and became such a great advocate for the ML and the people he loved. I loved her growth, her change from being a rude sociopath to a rude, but lovable manager. Her strength is in the love that she allows to completely change her and inspire her to improve the world around her. Her world, being DanBum pub, with Sae-ro-yi and the rest. She's an unforgettable character.
The cast works very together, great chemistry all around. The acting was convincing as well. I often found myself stressed, worried about what would happen next!
This is my first review I've left, but this show moved me so much, I needed to write this. I want to see more kdramas follow in their footsteps. .

Acting/Cast: Of course the cast and their acting was top-notch and I'm glad that they touched on topics like racism in Korea with the inclusion of Toni (Chris Lyon/Ryan), as well as LGBTQ-related things.
Music: It was good, not the usual set of soft/sad/melo/ballad type of songs. My top 3: Diamond - Ha Hyun Woo, Sweet Night - V, and Start Over - Gaho.
Rewatch Value: I don't like rewatching dramas in general, to be more specific, I simply can't so it's more of a score to help me get the average overall score.

Something fresh and real
This is my first review and more for my entertainment :)Itaewon Class, while having a pretty common story, manages to capture the attention of its audience, why you ask? Because of the characters, and the cast that portrayed its characters so beautifully.
Humans are neither good nor bad (sadly, we find that concept very often in dramas though : "the good guy" aka hero, "the bad guy" aka villian, and the "well-mannered" female lead) and I think this drama perfectly captured that.
Here we have something different. Even the "bad guy" was not entirely bad. His actions were not justified, but they kind of made sense (to me at least). The female lead, that many people here even called "Bitch", is someone with antisocial tendencies, and she knows it. Sometimes I loved her actions and her decisions, and sometimes I was disappointed. And by dissapointed I dont mean, that I am blaming the writer for not writing a more "morally acceptable" character, but more in the sense, that she did something, that was probably not the nicest thing to do, but it is part of her "nature".
I think the cast did a great great job! I could probably write pages about every single character, and what i found intriguing and what could have been better about them.

S O L I D P E R F E C T I O N !!!
WOW! Just WOW! I finished Itaewon Class just now , weeks after its last episode aired worldwide. I know I'm late to join the party but I'm grateful I watched this one and I won't skip my chance to write a good review here and spread the words about how good this drama is. Gosh! This drama is on another level! It's mind blowing! It's a solid perfection!I'm seriously in awe and losing my words. I'm speechless! I don't know what to write here because right now, there's too much good things in my brain waiting to be poured in this review. This drama is 180 degrees different, comparing to any K-drama nowadays. It's nothing about lovey dovey relationship or cutie pie story. It's all about something real: fighting hard and be determined while achieving your goals!
The casts in this drama are amazing. Park Sae-ro-yi is the man of his words. He had been through sickest and darkest hell but still standing strong until he finally achieves his goal in the end. Jo Si-yeo is the real deal, the badass! She's the real definition of fierce. Her confident is what makes her very rare and precious. She's genius, has nothing to afraid and exactly knows what she wants in life.
To me, there's not many movies or dramas which can change my life and give me new perspective after watching them. But Itaewon Class is seriously a game changer. Please tell me, how often you watch a movie or drama which successfully boosting your spirit at their ends? When you find one, it feels so so so good and somehow, satisfying!
To sum up my review, I will simply put: Itaewon Class makes me wanna try at life again.
