But although the characters were annoying, the acting is really good.
It took me over a month to watch the last 3 episodes , because it was just not interesting anymore and everything I wanted to know, I already knew by then, more or less. And the very last episode was the most disappointing one of them all. Very anticlimax.

Predictable
Right off the bat, when I saw one of the characters' name, I had high suspicions that he's the ultimate killer. In Hangul, a criminal is translated as 범인 (beom-in) which sounds so alike with Beom Jin. It was just my instinct at first but I just couldn't brush the thought off. So I just observed the character until he went really strange and suspicious. With that, the thrill and guessing games just flew off the windows. All that is left to me was some cliché power greedy, chaebol dominating the world story. Also the school violence and bullying (which nowadays wasn't a match for me). There were some satisfying moments when the leads won over something. Also, the OST (Idk the title) was great. It lived up to the vibe of the drama. I think a lot of characters were rather annoying or frustrating than I imagined so it's also a negative side to me. I'm giving points to the OST and some moments I liked but overall, this drama didn't leave me good impressions. Was this review helpful to you?

Acting:
- High school students were good.
- Yoon Gyun San was good as a lawyer and as a teacher.
- Keum Sae Rok was a bit useless in this drama (due to no fault of her own). Her character didn't matter to the plot which is a shame as I loved her in The Fiery Priest.

Ummmmm
A good storyline. Since it was released it 2019, I believe many other dramas like Bitch x Rich, Heirarchy, etc have somewhat taken inspiration from this. However, the reason why I’m giving this a 6.5 is because it’s unnecessarily dragged. It really didn’t need to have 16 eps. The very fact that Su-a’s killer was from within the school and Ki Mu Hyeok was also aware of this fact from the start but still kept on failing to find the right clue should be enough to justify that this drama is slow paced.
The mystery shouldn’t have been this complicated, honestly.
I don’t think Ki Mu Hyeok or any lawyer in this drama, for once, sat down and wondered who could be the killer. They were going on and on trying to find clues without even having a suspect in mind.
In my humble opinion, if even one of them thought rationally for once, they could’ve sat down and actually made a list of suspects that they could investigate on individually instead of aiming to collect all the information out there. I think that would’ve been less time consuming.
Beom-Jin was portrayed as this “master manipulator”. However, even he had cracks and weaknesses. The problem was no one noticed because, for some reason, the writers wanted everyone else to be a dumbass compared to him. Like, are you seriously telling me there isn’t one student in the entire school that recognises him for who he is except for Su-a? Cmon now. The fact that he so obviously resented his father but still killed Su-a to protect his father’s image proves that, at the end of the day, he resents himself too because he’s just like this father. And that hatred he had towards his own self showed every time he spoke like he was so high and mighty.
Nonetheless, I wasn’t that big of a fan of Su-a’s character as well. Doesn’t justify her murder, though. I also felt like Ye-ri didn’t serve much importance to the drama. Main role for no reason.
Still a good drama if you like slow paced mysteries

Thrilling one with a boring ending
*First i would like you guys to give this a try*This was a thrilling & a nice experience for a mystery genre lover like me but i got a little disappointed by the way of its ending ...
The only disappointment i came across --THIS WAS HONESTLY SO ADDICTING, but failed to give audience the ending they needed .
Why should u watch:
1__CAST WAS SUPER COOL (Imitation *JUN* just aced the role).
2__Had a lots of spins and chills..
3__Ost was super cool.
4__A whole of 16 episodes I BINGE WATCHED IT ON 4 DAYS.. 5__Rewatch value can be 8 Ofcourse.

The characters were written so good. The writers did the perfect job to develop the mistery. Even though this drama has no-real- romance whatsoever I didn't even thought about that aspect. The plot was too interesting to make you wanna think about the things that were ''lacking''.
With that being said you all would be wondering why I rated the story a 9.5. Well the end was questionable. It ended too quickly and abruptly. It left me kinda flat and I felt that the criminal deserved a much more tragic ending.
Was it a good ending? No.
Did it matter in the end? Also no.
The drama overall was too good to not rate it an absolute 10 at the and. I could say I closed an eye over the end *ha ha* (also there is this one line that really stuck to me : ''You are trying to bailout the ocean with a bucket''

A high school revenge drama everyone's missing on
When i first saw this drama i thought this was a typical revenge, but it was not, the character portrayal was good, i didn't have to fast forward some scenes cuz the actors did a spectacular job acting the hell out like it's rent due, the revenge was best served hot n cold, the thriller was thrilling, tho i kind of knew who the killer was the moment i saw them, the mystery still served.Prosecutor cha was my fav charac, she js served on those basic asd outfits but carried it like she was carrying the entire show!the pacing was a bit slow but it's understandable. But is it js me that suspected porter?cuz he was sus af too.Lemme do a quick recap on some of the high schoolers
Beom jin=the psychopath.i mean?he had no guilt or remorse doing nothing!tbh the giveaway for me was when he was tolerating the veritas behavior of tampering the students' record, like boy you're smart enough to not get associated with that.
Tae ra=our little dependent queen, she was like a socialopath, but she was getting too pressured with her own mom, her death was so unexpected for me, but it had to be done.
Ye ri=miss girll was nothing but a jealous, mean, bully girl, she was the opportunist out of all them, she'll find who's convenient for her to side on.
Gi hoon=just a perv and a creep.also i think he was the first one to have the brains to not listen to beom jin.he was like the gray character.idk
Some characters' ending wasn't shown, where's joon jae? where's prosecutor cha?they missed out on some details but this was a good watch!

I am bored with this drama
I would like to start this review by saying that the acting is really amazing. We can all see and tell the actors aren't the problem in the kdrama. Almost every kdrama have 16 eps, 1 hour each. But in some cases, it is cempletely unnecesary. And this drama is one of them. For me, ever since episode 6, the plot is seriously lacking. It is as if the writers, producers and director decided that this drama MUST be 16 episodes, nothing less. But that is my biggest problem with most kdramas, Class of Lies included. Kdramas are unnecesarily long. And when I mean long, I mean really long. Before you attack me, I have something to say. Yes, I haven't finished drama but why shoul I spend 16 ours watching something I am not interested in, just to write this review? Maybe this is hidden masterpiece and I just can't see the potential but please, don't attack me for my opinion. I am very open to change my mind and rewatch this kdrama, if anybody changes my mind about the lacking plot. Was this review helpful to you?
