It was good

I was thrilled every episode and was very excited for every episode. The student cast were great, the psycho student did a very good job st presenting the killer, and i think this was one of his first dramas, so it was impressive. I liked the actor of the lawer and was glad to see him here. The only actress I didn't like was the female lead. It was probably because of the script because I disliked her mother-like behaviour towards the students. She was too protective and I felt like she was annoying at times. But I endured it because I really loved the story.

Don't waste your 16 hours watching this shit because the writer didn't know what to do with climax of the story so she decided to ruin the drama by giving such a trashy last episode ...
the psychopathic killer was arrested rather someone else killed him and they didn't show us who the bastards the whole drama went after to arrest werent shown guilty of anything and in short we don't even know what's the point of the whole damn shit was
.... Annoyed as helll
Acting was great by every character just that the story wasted their talent
Music was no where
Why would I rewatch this shit

Revelation of dark secrets of a school intertwined with the students and their high official parents

This crime, legal, mystery-suspense filled drama portrays the entangled and dark story of a school being reigned by privileged parents and their children creating an imbalance on a proper function of a school. Even though it was set on a high school, the plot is really dark and the tragic theme is all throughout the drama. The drama even started on the murder scene itself.

Plot-wise it's drama that will pique your interest by making you wonder what will gonna happen next and who is who although I felt like it lacks texture because the plot is linear. It's about the main lead trying to expose the dark truth about high officials and their privileged children which is the same with similar genre drama, the only difference are the details itself. There's a lot of complications introduced every episode that will confuse you but the flow of the story is linear, there are no plot twists to expect. There are also lots of illegal things that the main lead did that was absurd given he's a lawyer but I get that the intention is good. What I love on this drama though is that most dramas are just light that will make you feel a roller coaster of emotions from being sad to happy but this drama is not about those. While watching it, I felt the pain, the helplessness, and realized the absurdity of people. If you're into tragedy type of genre this is well recommended.

The casts here are new faces for me, aside from Yoon GyunSang whom I've seen from other dramas before and he's still a good actor. His character grew emotions throughout the film which he doesn't have when he was first introduced as a lawyer who only have eyes in winning cases. For the other new faces I don't have expectations. Geum SaeRok is a new face to me, she's good at being bubbly and being the 'good teacher' but since the story starts to become darker and heavier each episode I felt like she's a bit lacking on expressing negative emotions like sadness. Jun is the one that I mostly noticed here since his role has the most complexity. I saw how versatile his acting is because I also fell for his angelic attitude and when he switched into a bad guy mode, I literally cursed his character BeomJin.

Overall, I liked this drama and every episode I keep wanting for more. There are lots of things that I've learned her like life lessons together with the characters. I loved how each one of them grow from all the events and tragedies that happened. I felt like I was with them.

Just Simply WOW...

It takes me a while to watch this drama because of the negative reviews but I gave it a try and I enjoyed it. Actually it take me 3days to finished the whole series and made me guessing the whole time. It was not that perfect but it exceed my expectations. My investigative mind really works in this drama. The twist of the story was done perfectly and unexpectedly actually. The cast did will plus the editing and directing is thumbs up....OCN never fails me, when it comes to this genre they are the best.

The first drama that I already loved as soon as I watched the first 15 minutes ?. The moment I saw Yoon Gyun-sang, I knew it'll be great, but after 15 minutes I just realized that this drama will be really really great. ????

For me who loves mystery, this drama is one of the best! Every episode is interesting. Everybody suited in the character that they are playing.

Jun is amazing! He really did great! If there will be a Korean version of Death Note, the character of Light will really suit him. His eyes are very expressive.

Yun Kyun-sang really never failed to amaze me before and even now! I can't wait to watch more of his drama??? He is really a great actor.

I could've given 10 for the rate, but there's something in this story that I didn't like, and that is on how
Beom-jin ended in the story. I feel quite disappointed that they were not able to prove what they have to prove, though it happens in real life, I just can't help but feel quite disappointed.

Overall, I super duper love this drama??? a great written story, well-directed drama, great choice of actors & actresses. Super amazing!

This drama is very good and difficult to guess. I'm really looking forward to episode 11, and what's more important is the main actor Yoon Kyun Sang????❤️ in this drama our emotions will be tested hoho. and sure enough in the first episode I was annoyed with the perpetrators of crime. For those who like this thrilling movie, it is very suitable, the story is interesting! this drama really teaches us to always be kind to others without looking at caste, from this drama I really hate acts of bullying. I really like Yoon Kyun Sang acting here, he's very wise and handsome.

this show was phenomenal. each moment had me on the edge of my seat and wondering what was going to happen next. it was an unpredictable ride that made my heart pound against my chest and make shivers run up my spine.

i find mystery stories set in school settings very interesting to unravel. i like creating various theories with my friends and relating to the school aspect of the show. thus, this show was very interesting to see in that aspect. it shed light on a lot of sad realities in a very enchanting manner because - as said before - the characters were brilliantly deceiving. it’s hard to explain, and one of those things you just have to see for yourself! i think everything was shown in an excellent manner and the pacing of the show was just perfect. i eagerly waited every week for the episodes of this show and ran to my macbook the moment the episode released! i also appreciated how they shed light on some social issues. it made me think about some aspects of our gruesome reality and raised awareness. it also made me think into the SOPA scandal, and was just enlightening overall. the acting, the story, the osts, and jun (oml he was perfect) were all top-notch!

the ending was a quite disappointing for me because it felt incomplete and i really think they could have added another two episodes to end it better. a lot of people also had problems with how the mysteries were solved in the show, but the lead's weren't real detectives and the people they chased weren't necessarily some mastermind criminals like Ted Bundy. thus, i thought the story unfolded in a pretty natural way for what it was? there may have been some loopholes, but it didn't personally bother me. in my eyes, the show was really really good from the start to near the end, and thus despite its imperfections i still adored it.

in conclusion, if you are interested in shows like 13 RW or sky castle, then i would HIGHLY recommend this!

Money, manipulation and murder

I was gripped almost immediately. Powerful figures are top of the food chain and the mistreatment of those below cascades down, very painfully. Those bullied from above, take it out, often with relish, on those below.
Even when it began to dawn on me who the main culprit was, I found myself doubting whether I was right. That's great character writing.
Jun is excellent on his portrayal and acting, as are all the cast. Top marks though, to the younger cast members, who all gave credible performances.
The family dynamics of the powerful were as often seen before, with parents using their money, position and contacts to further their children's futures. The green light this gives them, in terms of feeling a right to mistreat and manipulate their fellow students though, is a lesson this drama, I feel, attempts to teach its viewers.
The pace was good, although each episode covered too much ground from the end of the previous one, so I found myself FF each one.
The outcome for several characters was too clipped at the end and I wish they'd made more of the final court room scene, for realism.
I still thought it was a decent finish though and would happily sit through it again. Recommended.

Class of lies started with so much potential;
the music was great, the acting was good and the plot itself was captivating enough to make people put it on their watch list.but somehow in the middle of the drama the fact that the screenwriter didn't have so much experience started to show;characters started to act stupidly, the story started to drag ,the pace became slow and it all turned to something that, based on the first episodes, could've been so much better.
Still, the story was good enough to continue and the music had a good impact too.

The casting of this drama was good.Jun and Choi Kyu Jin were both great and Yoon Gyun Sang was good enough but on the other hand Geum Sae Rok's acting was a slap on the face,it was just to unnatural.

I was not satisfied of the ending.i believe the writer had problem to give some of the characters a proper ending, but all in all i enjoyed the weeks i spent waiting for the next episodes of this, thanks to OCN for this great season of dramas.

One of my favorite drama of 2019 !

I highly recommend this drama. Overall, it is mesmerizing and perfect as expected from an OCN's drama. It's an all kill for me !

It has everything. It truly illustrates the power of the south korean dramas and entertainment. I really like how it draws different genres and topics altogether : thriller, drama, justice, suspense, action, murders, bullying, harassment, investigation, corruption, politics, justice, school, workplace and so on. It highlithgts a lot of loopholes of the society. I enjoy the fact that this drama take risks in mixing many genres altogether. The results are absolutely perfect. It is like a mix of the drama "School 2013", "The guardiands/lookout" and "watcher". What I find very interesting is how the story highlithts the hierarchy of classes (the poor should serve the rich) and the existence of bullying in every strata of the society (school, workplace) ! I absolutely adore the story which is well written from the begining until the end. This drama is never boring, not a single second is boring. I could watch it again and again.

Also, the music/osts are absolutely fantastic and entertaining ! I also love the cast which I find particularly brilliant ! Every single actor and actress did so well, even the younger ones (the sudents) did such an amazing and entertaining job I was absolutely mesmerized ! The music is also one of the best point of the drama, every single ost of this drama is very good, it is very original yet it goes so well with the drama. It is very unique, and surprisingly captivating and suitable !

A MUST-SEE !

" Class of lies " had a strong start. The story goes deeper and deeper as it goes, involving more and more characters as it proceeds.

However, there were a few elements that prevended this drama from being great, even though the performances were seriously good. First of all, the story was good, but the drama had some boring scenes. Maybe they didn't handle the pace well enough to keep it interesting through and through. Then, the whole mystery and plotting was not as easily believable as it dealt with kids. But that was easily overlooked. Finally, the ending was questionable.

So, overall, seven out of ten.

THE MALE LEAD WAS SO BORING.

And so was that utterly one dimensional character with the most terrible script.
Jun and the other student characters were the only reason I watched thus far because hot villains are totally my thing but this drama was just the most trite, pointless, story with a plot so RANDOM it was just ridiculous.

But the murder mystery was definitely watchable and again because the students stories were engaging especially the Byung Hun and the bullying part was done well otherwise it's just very forgettable and generic.
