Quiet, crude movie with Hu Ge
This movie is very crude: violence, crime, sex and gore all over the screen! The male lead is silent and quiet, but that's what the plot needs. This movie was nominate for many awards, most awards likes those type of movies, cause they are very humane, you can see everyone flaws here, there is almost no "make up" to hide their personalites.
Resume: Ze nong was in prison for five years, once he tries to cameback as a gang leader things get messy, now everyone wants him so they can get the cops reward money, but they don't care about the "alive" in the dead or alive poster. Ai ai, the prostitute, shows up to help, since ze nong decides to let his wife rat him to get the reward money.
The good thing here is the way is quiet then messy, then quiet again. The ending would amuse some, for me was not good enough, but probably the judges from awards used this as one of the reasons to nominee the movie.
TMI: Hu Ge worked out his body to record this, his looks are slight more masculine here.

I need to take a shower after watching all the filthy things they are doing.
Warning this movie is for mature audience onlyI had to get over the Chinese dialect used in this movie. This portrays the sketchiest characters I have ever seen.
So many wow moments. The violent action scenes are shocking. Makes me want to wish the hunted does not die and the police and gangs fail to catch him and her. But sadly no…
The scenes are well captured in the night. I especially loved how they made use of the shadows during the apartment complex chase scene. It felt so old school to project the danger is coming.
Watched this on tubi. Fewer annoying commercial breaks than on Amazon Prime.
