Love is Lost (1956)

Ishikawa Kiichi and his wife Sasaki were running a barbershop where both husband and wife could earn money. There, Kiichi's cousin, Tamaro, a naive farmer, entered as a pupil. One day, Kiichi is summoned by the military. The war situation has become more and more disadvantageous and supplies are running short. However, later, Sasaki hears about her husband's death and moves back to her parent's home. After the war, she goes back to open the shop and meets Tamaro again.
