This is easily one of my favourite variety shows so far and I'm so sad at how it ended so soon.

Not only were the children heart-warming; seeing them develop, learn new things and enjoy their time with the Uncles and Aunts was simply amazing. You develop a kind of special connection to the kids because you feel as if you were their parent watching how they are growing. Of course, I was brought to inevitable tears in the last episode when they left and when Park Na Rae and Jung So Min also started crying.

I don't think the hosts could have been better. Lee SeunGi and his passion for making people enjoy and his skills when building things; Park Na Rae with the inner child in her and being able to not only make the kids feel loved but the crew and the audience too; Jung So Min being the adorable women that she is herself and being able to understand and be so delicate with the kids; and last but not least Lee So Jin, everyone doubted whether he would be able to get comfortable around the kids but oh was he heartwarming with the strong affection he developed for some of the kids (and of course the delicious dishes he cooked that made me want to reach through the screen and eat them myself).

Would 100% recommend this show if you love kids and even if you don't so much, because you will end up loving every single aspect of this show.

The first few episodes, the kids and caretakers a bit awkward among themself. But fret not, this will change and the show will get really lovely. This show changed me into Seung Gi fans. I have watched many of his drama, but this variety show, shows many side of him that is more calm, loving and caring. And other caretakers Seo Jin, So Min and Narae are all very lovely as well.

I feel very sad its only 16 episodes. Wishing were longer. Btw i become borderline shipper of Seung Gi x So Min too lol.. cos theyre lovely together. He always help her too...

This show is a solid ten from me. The concept is very good and I think it reflects the reality in a lot of countries - children just don't have the opportunity to run around and explore nature freely in our time. Little forest takes this issue and blends it together with well chosen hosts, some very sweet kids and excellent setting - summer is just oozing from the screen.

The first episodes, although very entertaining, focus more on the struggle of the hosts, who have limited experience with taking care of children of various ages. However, then the show finds a nice groove, placing the children at the centre of it. You get to know them better, the hosts prepare games, experiences and adventures for them and in the middle of all of this, the kids gain new knowledge and grow up a lot.

I have to give my admiration to all four of the hosts, who grew their skill set for this show as well. The kids in the show were all great and it was fun to see how they formed they relationships with the hosts. It all wraps up in quite an emotional finale, but you won't be disappointed investing your time into this.

Favorite Varshow

This is my favorite variety show ever.. Love everything about it. It’s entertaining and healing, especially during this pandemic.

Kudos for all the casts, all of them bring their own uniqueness to the show. Lee Seo Jin’s quirkiness always makes me laugh. Park Na Rae surprised me on how good she was handling the children. Lee Seung Gi’s enthusiasm and hard work to keep the children (and viewers) entertained; and last not least Jung So Min wowed me on how loving she was with children. Became a fan of her because of this show.

And Little Forest kids are truly the gem of the show. Miss them.. my fav are YooJin, Brooke, Grace and Yihan.

If you love children, go and watch it, you would not regret.
