True Beauty (2020)

- Both FL’s are insecure about what they really look like which is why they use makeup/get plastic surgery to try and cover it up
- The FL’s are teased in middle school and their lives are practically a complete joke because of their looks
- The main ML’s are the same actor and character (characters are rich, chic, hot, has dad-issues, and like the main character when meeting them as their real self first even admitting that their cute lol)
- The FL’s both hate the main ML’s during their first encounters but eventually fall for them throughout the plot
- EXTREME (not exaggerating here) EXTREME SLS (especially in true beauty it will KILL you)
- Second ML’s fall for the FL’s looks but like them even more after getting to know them
- Second ML’s and FL’s are really close and good friends which makes the main ML’s envious and jealous 24/7 XD
- Second ML’s and main ML’s are close-ish
- Both really stress the idea of “true” beauty since the FL’s are both insecure about their looks which gives the main ML’s a chance to swoop in and teach them that being beautiful doesn’t just mean the outside

Both are romcom dramas based on the popular webtoons. True Beauty has love triangle. A Business Proposal doesn't have love triangle coz it has two couples.
- FLs wear heavy makeup to makeover but for different purposes.
- MLs look cold but actually respect to women and they are perfect guys in every way.
- Sweet love story with amazing chemistry between couples.

- the 2 male main leads looks tough in the outside but shy and has a soft spot for the girl.
-their both a high school drama
-they both have there romantic funny cringy moments

Both female leads only show their "beautiful face" to the world, but the ML sees them without their cover. Really similar themes of beauty with vs appearance.

I'm recommending this to 100%! You're wondering why? It gives off very similar vibes because of it taking place in highschool :) If you like True Beauty, you for sure will be enjoying Extraordinary You!

both are Webtoons and take place in school! The Main Boy Character is a bad/cool boy and the girl is a good actress. I recommend this one 100/10 :-)

The chemistry between the three leads looks so much similar to Cha Eun Sang, Kim Tan and Choi Young Do. Even some of the scenes in the trailer have a lot of resemblance.

Probably different plots, but, structured around the school life of three teens caught in the web of a love triangle. So yes similarities are bound to happen.

The premises are rather similar. In True Beauty the main lead uses makeup to mask her real appearance from her peers. Whilst in shadow beauty, she edits her pictures to look like someone else. Both dramas have a ML knowing the FL real identity. Shadow beauty is a much darker than TB

I have only seen 1 episode of this and I can confidently say this is everything I wished True Beauty was.
- FL has got spunk, and she is no goody two shoes
- People didn't look down on the FL because she was "ugly" rather it was her personality that put people off
- Makeup will not change your world, the self-esteem issues are always there
- Fast paced and a lot of fun!

They are not similar in terms of plot line at all but both contain a love triangle (the one in True Beauty is more intense though as it is the central plotline here), have a balanced amount of humor, romance and slight melodrama. Also both of them are super enjoyable and can be watched mindlessly and still leave you smiling due to the extreme cuteness they are filled with!

Both FL's depend heavily on makeup to cover up their physical flaws...they both think they aren't as beautiful without makeup

Both ML's are cold initially

colorful schools, pretty and famous fls!!!And both are popular on social media. They also give the same vibe

There's also a cute love triangle involved (also similar to cute/smart guy + bad boy) that I believe makes it very similar to this show :)

- FL being bullied and insecure with her looks and found confident through make ups.
- stoic ML but actually a cutie ball when around FL
- 2nd ML are persistent and actually a good friend to the leads
