It kind of make sense why the Male Lead looks so young in this drama, when this drama was aired he was 25 yo but Ig during filming myb about two years so he was 23,24 yo then. He really looks like it. The Female Lead Costume was so amazing during her ride on the horse. Very interesting to see when the roles were reversed, like all the power belong to women in this drama. That's so unexpected lol.

Really funny and sweet!!! i really liked the first episode because of the story behind it, it clearly has a a lots of funny things to absorve, plus i really loved the fact that the writer of the story found herself actually living in the characters body and having to act like them but what's more interesting is that she already knows what's going to happen and she can change it if she wants to!!!

5.0/10 - Had to rewatch the info dump to get it all, but then it was full steam ahead!

First off I love how fast Chen Xiao Qian / Chen Qian Qian is just all like: "I'm trapped in the script I wrote." In less than a minute!! I mean you can't argue with it once you've run up to the highest point and see the whole city you invented. There's also 2 info dumps about the world. The subs I had were super fast and had to slow down the video. So it was a bit sloppy. Once I understood the world well, and the setup for the plot it was full steam ahead! I love the idea of two cities so close to each other. One where it's normal and the men rule, and the other gender reversed and women rule. I loved LOVED seeing the male "maids" giggling and trying to attend to the Princess. Ha-ha!!

There's not much to say as the plot is just starting up, but I found how Chen Xiao Qian / Chen Qian Qian dealt with the upcoming poisoning odd. If she's a princess that is so impetuous and spoiled that she can cancel all the wedding rituals (especially the Queen's one) then I have no doubt she just could have been all "I'm not marrying this fool!" Queue runaway bride!!! Boom!

Rosy Zhao (AKA Zhao Lu Si) is such a wonderful comedic actress. I've already seen her in a world Crossworlds Travelers in Oh! My Emperor: Season One. She was amazing and she's bringing that fire to this role. And I don't mind it at all. Oddly enough I can already see the chemistry between Rosy Zhao and Ryan Ding. In our world there was something, but in the alternate I could already feel and see the magic!! I can't wait to see them romance each other.

I find myself very impressed by the cast. Especially both the main leads attendants. They are both quirky and they play well off each other. I hope that means they keep getting to do so. Though I feel a bit of dislike for Han Shuo (Ryan Ding's character) attendant for killing that poor horse! I'm so far impressed by the writing. Especially being able to already make some great scenes and comedic punches that don't feel like they're trying so hard. Normally in this kind of drama it takes a while for the humor to find it's pacing while the world is being setup. Well done. *tips hat*

Overall this is a very promising start to a genre—Crossworlds Travelers—that I never tire of. *giddy fangirling* Here we go!

Extremely refreshing take on gender roles, amazing plot and intriguing characters

Lol I finished this a few days ago but just realized episode reviews were a thing. This is my first time watching an airing drama, as well as my first time watching a historical fantasy, and so far, I’m very impressed. The first episode sets the scene as our FL gets sucked into the story that she wrote. The story is about a society where females take control and males are the ones being treated as lesser. The message is very clear, and it is done very well. I was so pleasantly surprised by how the writers of the drama were willing to address such an important, controversial message, and they did so well.Aside from that, the plot itself is amazing so far. The FL wrote the ML out to be a terrible, manipulative person, a refreshing change from the cliche male leads we usually see. He’s cunning, and he’s looking for ways to manipulate others in getting what he wants. The FL becomes a side character in the story, and she too finds herself forced to manipulate the plot line to ensure that her character does not meet the fate she brutally wrote for her. The concept, in my opinion, was done brilliantly. I’d heard bad things about the FL’s acting before, but i thought she did great in this drama. She brought a lot of light to her character and fit her role seamlessly.I highly recommend watching this show and am excited to see more!
