" In - Seoul " is not the classic Global Playlist. They focused more on the mother - daughter relationship. Which was the best part. Though the romance was not bad, but they didn't pace it very well.

Another thing that worked for it was the way they presented the story. It was nice to watch the two persepctives and how the two characters actually felt. However, they didn't work well with the whole fangirling story, which they abandoned after the first episode. However, the performances were good.

So, overall, seven out of ten.

I'm gonna be honest I JUST finished watching this about 5 minutes ago BUT this Playlist x VLive collab was very cute and light-hearted! This is your typical high schooler to college life transition, there was nothing inherently special about it; you can argue that the fangirling aspect was different but we saw that played up in the Reply series. But other than that, nothing really stuck out to me about this drama, but it was still a heartwarming watch nontheless. It was cute and wholesome to see Dami's personality and attitude towards life and her relationships change so much throughout the course of the series! If you're looking for something soft to pass the time with, give this a go! If you're a high school student procrastinating on studying, this drama tells you multiple times to go study so GO STUDY!!

While I came to watch this because of Do Hee, I still find her acting always so.. sassy, which isn't a bad thing (I love it)
This storyline is cliche and goes from a daughter and mother at each other's throats and when the daughter is gone they end up missing each other. I do like the fact that they didn't focus on the romance but rather on the mother and daughter's relationship!!
The romance is still somewhat satisfying, though, yet still cliche.
Now there's nothing wrong with the drama being cliche, because every now and then I find myself watching dramas like this to fulfill whatever cliche desires I have in me.

I'm WAAAAY outside the target demo for this web Drama but as a longtime fan of Do Hee's acting, I was keen to watch her first real lead. The fact that it also has Jin Ye Ju (Kim Yeon Seo), whom I really like in My Only Love Song, was a delightful bonus.

The story is nothing earth-shaking, but I was impressed with Do Hee's performance as THOROUGHLY unlikeable character. Selfish and UTTERLY self-absorbed, her character also showed zero growth in terms of maturing and getting half a brain until basically the penultimate episode. She treated her mother despicably, consistently so, and even managed to provoke her somewhat implausibly tolerant boyfriend to rage by her thoughtless self-absorption. That's why I was impressed with Do Hee's performance. In the first 12-5-12 episodes, there's really not one thing about her character that evokes sympathetic approval. She's just a whiny, self-obsessed spoiled kid who truly has no idea about the real world or how incredibly easy she has it. And Do Hee nailed it, well done.

Happily, there WAS a character to like and root for, and that was Jin Ye Ju's Ha Rim, the BFF of Do Hee's character. Ha Rim was sharp, cynical, insightful, and clear-eyed, and a perfect foil to Do Hee's Da Mi. She made the show fun, even when Do Hee's great portrayal of a selfish slob was so good as to be vexing.
