Appropriately titled - LOVE & REDEMPTION
What a fitting title for this title "LOVE & REDEMPTION"!! If someone told you its good, it's even better. You will fall in love with the ML and ache for him. The sacrifices he will make in the name of Love.....OMG........countless women who watches this drama will ask "where is my Se Fung???". Cheng Yi played Se Fung so well. Incredibly handsome, strong & supportive at the same time.You will get frustrated at the FL, but the writing is so good that the fustrations will be well worth it. When finally everything is revealed and she finally realizes how wrong shes been, as they say, Pay back is a bitch!
I recently fell in love with the actor Liu Xue Yi, who plays a villain in this drama. You must check him out in Love at Night and Qing Luo. He is incredibly handsome. But shows you what a great actor he is because I absolutely hated his guts in this drama.
The rest of the supporting cast is all wonderful as well. I loved ALL of them. kudos go to Zhang Yu Xi, who I think did an incredible job. I was very impressed with her acting and look forward to future work. Music & Ost is also very good, really fits the mood especially during the many intense fighting scenes.
For those like me who is looking for a HEA ending drama......YES, this is it! Its got romance, friendship, heart ache, villains, magic, monsters but most of all....Love & Redemption! Strap your seat belt on, its going to be a wild ride, ENJOY!

This drama just Amazing
OMG What an Amazing drama this drama is out of world like seriously i just hooked with this bcz of my full time work i always kept this one for hold finally i completed this drama within 8-9 days (also slept late at night) without skipping Si feng he just Amazing Actor he gave more than 100% for this drama.........Most of the time i hated xuan ji stupidity she never believed si fen but it's okay finally she realized what her biggest mistake is not believing on si feng? My si feng❤️xuan ji just love you guys they both did Fantastic( But Many times felt that no one deserve si feng he always gt tortured like hell??) Finally Happy ending ?❤️ I just love with vice palace lord in every critical moment he just fanning with his hand fan i love his calmness he is a classy villain?? from starting to end of this drama i hated only one character most is King bailing (hao chen) ?? i hate king bailing more than main villain what i felt in this drama Demons are more loyal & kind hearted than those sects ........Apart from Main character i just love with Liu yi, Ting nu ,Purple fox, flying snake & wu zhi they are bestest character created They always there for si feng they did Amazing with their charcter & all are fall for thir character..........i definitely suggest tis drama to everyone for me this drama 10/10Was this review helpful to you?

Romance, Action, Magic, 3 realsm, xianxia, wuxia, convincing story and chemistry what am i forgetting? Never mind, this story has it all!At first sight, i was skeptical about warching this drama since i am not into ancient, but i am glad i tapped the ep1!
I got hooked at 1st ep. The couple was cute at the beginning but didnt cobtinue till end since the plot got serious, but unlike many dramas, i didnt mind. it got me hooked the more!
I love the setting and fight scenes, they are so enjoyable. and the magic spells were ....woah!
The ost certainly got me in the mood to cry, feel iconic and even sing along!
And i got to commend the story writer, it was a unique plot. Because at first, i thought it would be a remake of ashes of love, but no! Its unique! Infact i loved this drama more than ashes of love.
I cant praise this drama for long because i might be carried away...
Good character, chemistry, love story, xianxia....everything! I highly recommend this drama , give it a go and im certain you will love it as much as i did..

Happy angry baffled sad and then happy
This is the most typical wuxia drama it has everything . Most of the wuxia dramas are similiar but this was the best first time the female lead was not a menance . Chengi yi did a very good job . This was my first drama after untamed . I enjoyed it very much . I almost wanted to break the phone because how much male lead has suffered but it's all fine now . BEAUTIFUL~!! Chaotic yet Fascinatingly Heartwarming and satisfying. <3
I don't know where to start. This drama's probably the longest for me to finish but also one of fhe most worth while of all.Lemme start it by giving my earnest feedback; It all started as a very mysterious and adorable that gradually ended with so much schemes and fighting (Which I love as well). The thing here is that as time passes by you'll start to hate the supposedly 'Good People' due to their over judgement and hypocrisy and that very reason made me felt that bitter hate and distate. Thankfully this drama do provide justice and 'redemption' so almost all of those issue dissipated eventually when it neared its finale.
Secondly, I love how this drama served us different variety of feelings and emotions. It truly entails and showcases different ways and path of life and thought us/me how to look on the brighter side although it may look ridiculous. I feel like this production delivered in every aspect it possibly touched and has successfully handled them accordingly.
Of course, 'NO' drama is perfect and all of them mostly has flaws and broken holes but I feel like this story deserves to be place on a different level; separating it from the rest of it's origin. It is that impactful to me and it has successfully secured a great place in my heart.
Story - 10, The story is a continuous roller coaster of events that can make you feel differently each time but it surely is with a purpose. A well written drama with great plotd and overly irritating Minor 'Supposedly' Protagonist and Main Antagonists. It also overflows with love and tenderness coming from various individuals and their relationship towards the people around them. So much lesson to learn and way of life to appreciate and adapt to.
Acting/Cast - 10, SPECTACULAR!! i love all of the artists in this production. All of them truly delivered and expressed the greatest extent of emotions and actions their characters should present and I can't ask for more. I'm truly moved and triggered. Hahaha~ Special mention to Liu XueYi, as this is the first drama of him that made me hate him to core. Also wanna shower some love and appreciation towards the main leads and the minor leads. They're all splendid.
Music - 10, No discussions needed. Music is Perfect from the first Track till the end. Each and every Music touched and moved me to their own rhythm and melody. I enjoyed it the most among all of the OSTs of over 60+ dramas I watched this year.
Rewatch Value - 10, Solid 10. Highly RECOMMEND! Everything about this drama is spectacular and lovely in it's own way and deserved nothing but recognition, love and support. I would watch it a gazzilion times if needed.
Overall - 10, Any scores lower than 10 is absurd. This drama may not be perfect but there's no such thing as perfect drama and this one is like a cut from a very expensive and royal piece of clothing. Must treasure and protect.

you are going to regret if you miss this drama . i have seen 100+dramas but never seen such a wonderful one .story revolves around yu si feng first leader of lizae palace and chu xuan ji daughter of sect leader chu. si feng and his fellows are restricted to remove the given mask or make new friends and never plan of marring. where as xuan ji is a loveable youngster without 6senses .there meeting and unusual bonding between the both leads to tremendous new series of problems . later they realize that their relationship and fate is not something new but a tragedy that has been tangled up for a thousand of years .unexpected plot twist and mind-blowing identities makes the series more enjoyable are interesting .more over by the end you will surely fall for the ML and its actor cheng yi. the love that si feng shows for xuan ji and trutha about false reality ,freinds and relationships make the show wonderful.Was this review helpful to you?
The C-drama has an amazing storyline and never gets boring!
I am only up to episode 13 but it is so good! Already from the start, the chemistry between the lead characters is amazing and sweet ❤️ This Chinese drama is very different and new to me. It has an amazing storyline and it never gets boring. So I really recommend others to watch this drama! ☺️?This drama’s lead actors is the first time I’ve seen them. The ML has a certain aura about him which makes his character different from many others. The FL is so cute yet clueless about feelings. Haha. I have seen many Insta videos about the drama and I just decided on a whim to watch and I don’t regret watching! ?

Only just begun
I can't say that a series has started and continues to satisfy it's viewers more than this one has! I'm finding that from the acting, cast chemistry to the sets, nothing but excellent production and effort by all. I'm falling in love with all the couples and all the characters are solid with depth! There's tons of cute moments that just have you smiling and I'm thoroughly loving this series especially with Xuan Ji and Si Feng as the MLs. The secondary couples/characters also draw their own share of love from me. <3 It reminds a little of Ashes of Love but Xuan Ji's actress portrays her well, with well thought out expressions that feel/flows so naturally - you don't feel any disconnect between actress & character when you watch her perform. We get great progression and so far, I'm only on episode 16, nothing seems too rushed. Though for Si Feng, there's a slight shift in the span of 2 episodes earlier on that quickly does away with his language difficulty. It was cute & could have stayed around a little longer.Now back to the series! I hope you enjoy even more than me :)

Worst characters ever written
Sorry to whoever likes this show but this is not for me at all.I tried giving it a chance. I truly tried. I hated it right from the 1st episode but I told myself, you know what, let's give it some more episodes, after all, we're only at the first.
But holy hell. There is nothing redeeming at all about the characters. If you pick all the worst traits of every fictional characters and put them together, you get the main and few recurring characters.
They are so horribly written, I couldn't focus at all on the story or the visual effects. I couldn't continue at all.
Sorry but I really hope people write better characters in future works. I really don't think it's fair to the actors and actress to play such horrid characters.

Predictable ending
For highly rating drama, I didn't enjoy this drama as its score review. Perhaps I am fed up with male main roles who has cool style from other titles, so I think this one (Yu Si Feng) is no different. I came to Love & Redemption, only to see Crystal Yuan, because I like her role as Mo Shan Shan in Ever Night. Chu Xuan Ji is different character, but I like her as well.The acting is good, but not special. The story didn't offer shocking scenario, so it will not really make you feel too sad, too angry, or too excited. The notable characters in my opinion are Wu Tong, Yuan Lang, Liu Yi Huan, and Teng She.
The other characters I like are Zi Hu and Wu Zhi Qi.
The soundtracks are good, both opening and ending. But I am not interested to singing along.
Overall, I can say this drama is fit for those who expecting happy ending. But still ok to watch for those who seek for conspiracies because there were some conspiracies even though predictable.
