Sakuraba Haruma's childhood friend Inukai Shuji was a cut above him in every way imaginable, living out the glamorous life bestowed upon him. Haruma, an unassuming salaryman, has lived his every day clutching onto his inferiority complex, existing only in Shuji's shadow. One day, Haruma coincidentally meets Shuji's wife, Inukai Reika, who Haruma has always secretly admired since his high school days. With feelings of envy, jealousy, and more, a "secret" is born from Haruma's repetitive days.
Both are affair dramas except for this main reason: THE CHARACTERS ARE TOTAL OPPOSITE. The more you watch them, the more you understand them, the more you reflect about life. Actually, it is not a cheating drama for me. Rather a healing romance drama about four people entangled in a dangerous web just to show people that LIFE IS THIS SWEET. After watching, it will make you ask yourself, "How are you, my sanity? Stop messing my thoughts about life and love." My all-time favorite Korean Drama. No one beat it yet.
Both are about a forbidden love story between a man and a married woman. Both have r rated scenes & recommended if you like secret love affairs type of drama/movie.
2 months after their wedding, Yeon Yi's husband, Jin Woo, gets into an accident and falls into a coma. During this time, Yeon Yi's life shatters from the seams. She misses her deadlines for work, while she has only videos of her wedding to comfort her.
Then Yeon Yi waits at the airport for Jin Woo's brother, Jin Ho, whom she has never met before. She is stunned when she meets him, because Yeon Yi never knew Jin Woo and Jin Ho are identical twin brothers. Although Jin Ho and Yeon Yi's relationship is cold at first. they soon become attracted to each other. Their relationship becomes even more volatile, when Jin Woo suddenly awakes from his coma

If you have watched Doctor Foster (the TV series where this drama was adapted from), you wouldn't have made a connection, but this Korean adaptation and SKY Castle both have themes of greed for connections to social elite.
Both also have high ratings in South Korea, and their mystery genre may have been also a big factor contributing into it.
