Lost You Forever

Potential to be a great drama, but the excecution was not there for me.

I just want to start off this review by saying that in no way am I trying to undermine anyone who has genuinely enjoyed this drama. If you enjoyed it, I absolutely love that for you! This entire review is just my own opinions, so please don't get offended! I'm not trying to offend anyone or deter anyone from watching this (I'm simply just sharing my thoughts). Ok, with all of that out of the way, this drama just wasn't for me.

I decided to watch this after seeing a few people talk about it on my social media feed. I was initially curious because this had a reverse harem situation, and I honestly have never watched that in a drama, only in anime. Now, there are some instances where the reverse harem trope works. In this case, it just didn't for me. Xiang Liu, the white-haired demon advisor, was just not for me. I mean, he literally hurt Xiao Liu MULTIPLE times and she still went back to him??? Yeah...No. Also, Cang Xuan? I don't know, I didn't really like his character either. He was literally the cause of Xiao Liu's injuries at some point and also defends A Nian when she's clearly being so rude towards Xiao Liu for no reason at all either than the fact that she's not "rich." She literally looks down on Xiao Liu and makes some nasty comments towards her, and Cang Xuan still defends her?? If you ask me, that's annoying.

As for Shi Qi, I will say he's the nicest out of the male leads. He's very sweet and constantly looks after Xiao Liu after she saves him and nurses him back to health. I will also say that his backstory of being tortured by his older brother for three years (I think it was three at least) was very sad, and he didn't deserve that at all, but I just feel like his character was kind of lackluster for me. And again, I only got up to episode fifteen, so maybe they do add some more backstory to his character as the show goes on. For me, the start of this drama was just so slow. I wasn't immediately hooked from the first episode, which usually happens for me with most historical/wuxia dramas. I'm not even sure who the fourth ML is, but I guess I will never find out. This drama honestly had a great story, but it just wasn't executed properly for me.

In this show we follow the lives and troubles of four main characters: Princess Xiao Yao and the three men who love her: her cousin prince Xyian (who she sees and loves like a brother), Tushan Jing (who she has saved and fallen in love with), and Xiang Liu, the poisonous nine-headed snake (who Xiao Yao is attracted to but refuses to accept it).
This emotionally charged and intricately woven narrative pulls you into a world of passion, sacrifice, and complex relationships that will linger with you long after you stopped watching.

What truly sets Lost You Forever apart is its unapologetic willingness to delve into the complexities of human emotions. Our main leads choices are never simple, and the drama doesn't shy away from depicting the consequences of their actions and sometimes you will hate them for that.

The acting is the best I have seen in a long time from Yang Zi as the main female character, to Zhang Wan Yi, Deng Wei, and (my favorite) Tan Jian Ci, the nine-headed snake.

Yang Zi impression of her character makes her awesome. Each chapter or episode has a unique detailed from the book. Fascinating, excited, great panomaric scenes. I watched so many dramas but I really consider this one as a masterpiece.
Something that constantly struck me throughout the drama was when she was a male, there was perfect amount of feminine characters and perfect amount of masculine characteristics when she was a female. It is exactly what saved Ye Shi Qi, made Xiang Liu trust her and fall in love, made Fenglong admire her and made her someone that Xuan can depend on.

Tushan Jing/Deng Wei was the only compatible and safe option for her, I accept that, even though I didn't want them to be together. I didn't feel chemistry in their relationship and Jing was apathetic, I don't know how to say it seems like something was missing. He is the male character that treats her the nicest, and that can give her the peaceful life that she wants, but I still find him boring: he has no motivations for anything he does other than be with her and help her.

Tan Jian Ci playing Xiang Liu/FangFeng Bei, was the perfect cast for the tortured soul yet filled with love and compassion Snake demon. There were so many scenes where not a word was needed for this actor to be able to make us feel the pain and love of his character through the screen. Our beloved Xiang Liu, enigmatic and cold, but completely in love with Xiaoyou, loved her deeply, protected and saved her, the hard thing is that she didn't know about his love for her, he remained faithful to his principles until the end, it was difficult to follow his cruel and tragic destiny that he himself chose. I would also like it if he was Xiaoyou's choice. The last episode to me is really about him, and reminding us again, how deeply he loves her. He is the only one who loved her, not asking for anything in return. He always protected her, often at great cost to himself.
Tan Jian Ci did such a great job portraying the conflicted Xiang Liu that clearly cares for Xiao Yao but has his own values that he cannot abandon. Part of me thinks he was too stubborn in holding his values to the Chi Chen army.

Regarding the performances, Zhang Wan Yi /Cang Xuan - simply shone here, scenes of him drunkenly confessing his love to her are heartbreaking, you feel his pain, in the Karma tea illusion scene it is a very strong scene and what a performance!!!
I pitied him, whenever he appeared on screen, he brought a sense of melancholy with him: even in the few scenes where he was happy, I felt an underlying sadness for everything he went through, and likely will go through, that made his happiness unreal, short-lived; someone not destined to be happy.

He wants to be with Xiao Yao, wants to protect her, but to do this his sole focus is on his political ambitions, and thus ends up drifting more and more away from her in the process.

The childhood characters, young actor and actress portrayed a really excellent work. I already wanted to cry after their childhood scenes, how they only had each other to rely on. I could really see the feelings on the young actor and actress faces.

Lost You Forever is not just a drama, it's an emotional rollercoaster of redemption, love, and fate. The gripping storyline combined with outstanding performances makes it a must-watch for any drama enthusiast.

Too Dark.

Coming from watching The Legend of Shen Li, This drama wasn't the best one to follow. Season 1 is just a constant game of tag between love triangles or squares I'm not even sure. But the relationships are too dark and disturbing to watch especially how beautiful Shen Li's story is. This one just takes too long to resolve issues. Too few action scenes. Too much focus on unnecessary love angles and the story takes a back seat. The most disturbing part is the characters the main FL "falls" for are either a sorry pathetic clingy rich boy or a psychopath who treats her like a slave in a plantation. Like falling in love with a crybaby or your sadistic torturer who whips your skin off or breaks your legs or tries to drown you every time you go on a date. I mean if that's your type of Romantic drama, this one is for you.

A masterpiece !

In this drama you have 2 quests, one for the FL played by a stunning Yang Zi looking for her life, her love, and the second quest by Xiyan Cang Xuan looking to rule the empire.
Half of the drama is located in mortal realm, with the FL looking like a man, leaving as a doctor. She will meet the other leads there, but nobody will talk about her male appearance even if Xiang Liu and Tushan Jing discovered it. In the second part of the drama she will be back as a princess, and we will see more plots, broken love stories etc.
What s make this drama outstanding is the acting ! Yang Zi is clearly on my podium of Chinese actresses, same level of Xhao Lu Si. The character suits her so well ! The male leads are very good too, i discoverd Tan Jian Ci, and he is sooooo good ! I really want him to end with the FL !! I m looking forward the season 2 !

Boring!

I went into drama with high hopes. However, the only part that was good is the first episode with the child actors.

I kept waiting for the series to start. There was no chemistry, no electricity, no forward motion. All four of the lead characters are flat, one dimensional. I really like a couple of the actors and was really surprised.

Can we address the violence for violence's sake? What is the point? WHO is it aimed at? What kind of audience is this series looking for? All we needed is an SA to make it truly revolting.

Chinese dramas have been getting worse over the last year or so. This one tops the charts for BAD.

A drama worth watching

This drama even before it came out I have read quite a lot of
reviews and quite a lot of thoughts about this drama; so thought I
would give it a try... and I am so far not regretting my decision to
start this drama!

My first thoughts of this drama
- the acting from the FL is always the one that I take an interest to,
and always Yang Zi is a great actress. Even if she is disguised as a
guy, she pulls that off very well...

- the 3 ML leads, even though I am not that familiar with any
of them, their acting skills so far are superb and definitely if you
love eye-candy they definitely deliver it very well..

I won't give out too much yet as I am only at episode 10; but all I can
say for now is this FL has to choose between a sexy and alluring
demon, a cute and caring fox, and a human who she has known all
her life; boy that is a hard decision anyone would have to face..
( I know who I would choose hahahaha)....

I'm not sure about this drama result point?

Now the title of the drama says lost you forever what could refer to a lost Xiyan Cang Xuan and Tushan Jing and she ended up with a villainous Xian Liu who treat her so wrong and forcibly or something else but mostly i think the loss of a right man is Xiyan Cang Xuan and that is not the most baddest thing to me as I really like Tan Jian Ci with that white look hair and look but when he is WRONG one...she definitely shouldn't have let Xian Liu dominate her as he see fit because he's terrible demon with no compassion...just an abuse and self nourishment with her blood and he always threaten her that one day she could be eaten by him to nourish himself because he does not even care for her but he does keep her alive because you know she's a main female character and a girl he need to drink her blood😛 and that is absolutely what i dislike about this drama but later on in the mid point to the end point he changed and i kind of like him as Fangfeng Bei and his behavior smoothens and I like his black hair look and like all the main characters from this drama and especially like Yang Zi

Cosa bien hecha, cosa hermosa

Voy a comenzar diciendo que YangZi en dramas de época/Xianxias/Wuxias NUNCA decepciona. Desde el minuto 0 de la serie entendí que nadie más que ella podría haber tomado este rol. Yo sé que debería ser la norma a la hora de actuar hacerlo sin pensar en la "imagen personal" fuera de la serie, pero hay muchas actrices dando vuelta por ahí no queriendo desarrollar un rol donde queden "mal" o se "ensucien" demasiado; cualquiera podría ser una princesa o una concubina, pero pocas podrían hacer el papel de un hombre y no tener vergüenza a la hora de actuarlo. Por eso YangZi siempre la 1.

Ya que estamos hablando del cast, la verdad es que estoy bastante contenta con el desempeño de todes les actores que participaron en la serie, no he encontrado un momento donde diga "bueh, esto es cualquiera" porque considero que todas las personalidades de los personajes se actuaron correctamente.

Antes de hablar de los personajes y la historia en si, quiero destacar que la producción, guión, efectos especiales y demás están muy bien llevado a cabo. Genuinamente es una producción S. Lo único medio pelo a destacar es que MUY de vez en cuando, sobre todo en los primeros capítulos, había cortes extraños.

Ahora sí a lo importante. (SPOILERS)

La historia arranca contándonos la infancia de una nena y un nene y como atraviesan la muerte de sus padres gracias a una guerra. Él, gracias a que es el nieto del emperador de Xiyan, es enviado a Haoling como "rehén" del rey (quien se convierte en su maestro y es el padre de la protagonista femenina) y ella es enviada a la Montaña de Jade para entrenar y fortalecerse ya que tiene un poder único. Desgraciadamente la guerra continúa y el Rey de Haoling no puede cumplir su promesa de ir a buscar a su hija a la montaña Jade ya que podría correr peligro, entonces ella (sin saber que la guerra continúa y con el rumor de que en realidad ella no es hija de su padre y por eso éste no la va a buscar) decide abandonar la montaña por sus propios medios para volver a casa. Desgraciadamente las sirvientas que la acompañaban fallecen y ella queda a merced de un espíritu zorro que la encarcela y le va rompiendo todos los meridianos para que no pueda volver a usar su mágia. Ella logra escapar a duras penas, pero sufre de una enfermedad que altera su rostro. Llega un punto donde no puede reconocerse más, no sabe cuál es su rostro verdadero. Esta enfermedad queda trabada en una cara de hombre que no recuerda dónde vió, y decide adoptar esa como su nueva personalidad convirtiéndose en un curandero especializado en fertilidad en un pueblito alejado de todo. El nombre de esta nueva personalidad es Wen Xiao Liu.

Bueno eh, muy terrible todo. Arranca fuerte la serie. En este pueblito es donde conoce a su primer interés romantico: Ye Shiqi. En contra de su voluntad lo salva de la muerte y lo convierte en su seguidor, le enseña todo sobre medicina para que atienda con él la clínica y se vuelven muy cercanos. Por su puesto, Ye Shiqi al ser un espíritu zorro sabe que Wen Xiao Liu es en realidad una mujer resultándole imposible no enamorarse de ella. Una tarde que estaban buscando hiervas Xiao Liu decide ingresar en territorio enemigo para ir a buscar un animal especial cuya venta podría contribuir a que uno de sus seguidores se case. Allí conoce a su segundo interés romántico: Xiang Liu, el demonio serpiente de nueve cabezas. El tipo la tortura, le chupa la sangre cuando descubre que es milagrosa, y ella se sigue juntando con él. Les he fallado acá no recuerdo bien que pasa. Pero a medida que avanzan los capítulos Xiang Liu se va enamorando de nuestra protagonista (porque obvio como es un espíritu también sabe que es mujer) ya que él también fue maltratado y olvidado cuando era chico. Amamos los trasfondos trágicos. Me encanta todo el drama bien llevado de la serie. Yo se los cuento acá así no más pero que delicia ver personas ficticias sufriendo desgracias.

Volvemos al tema. Cuestión que Xiyan Cang Xuan, el principal masculino y el "rehén" del rey de Haoling, nunca dejó de buscarla por todos lados luego de enterarse que había desaparecido. Ambos le prometieran a la abuela de él que siempre se cuidarían mutuamente así que está empecinado en encontrarla. Llega a ese pueblito alejado de todo con la excusa de poner un puestito de vino pero en realidad es para buscarla a ella. Que pim pum pam, en una pelea entre Cang Xuan y Xiang Liu, Wen Xiao Liu se da cuenta que este hombre amante del vino es en realidad su amigo de la infancia. Decide sacrificarse para salvarlo y obvio que termina muy mal herido. Cuestión que Cang Xuan vuelve al palacio donde es rehén y le dice a su maestro (y padre de nuestra protagonista) todo lo que sucedió siendo específico en la parte donde Wen Xiao Liu es experto en todo tipo de venenos y antídotos. Ahí el rey se da cuenta de la verdadera identidad del curandero y lo manda a llamar. Claramente que Cang Xuan vuelve a la aldeita, le dice al curandero "che veni pibe que el rey te quiere ver" y contra todo pronóstico Wen Xiao Liu no quiere volver. Es lógico, ella piensa que su papá lo abandonó y cree los rumores de que en realidad no es hija de su padre, sino de un deminio. A esta altura de la serie Cang Xuan está bastante harto de las jugarretas del curandero, así que medio que lo secuestra, le parte la pierna para que no se pueda escapar y se lo lleva. [Voy a obviar todo lo de Xiang Liu y Ye ShiQi porque si no no termino más esta review]

Luego de una cena incomodísima donde ella finge demencia full y se va a dormir, el rey le dice a Cang Xuan quién es realmente ese curandero. El pibe se quiere matar. La persona que estuvo buscando todo este tiempo finalmente estaba frente a él y no pudo reconocerla, además de que en varias ocasiones le terminó haciendo mal. Esta parte me gustó, pero siento que XiaoYao (ex-Wen Xiao Liu) aceptó muy rápido el hecho de que la hubiesen abandonado medio que a su suerte. Por un lado entiendo porque todo lo que vivió la hizo volverse muy cerrada y desconfía de todo. Tiene una carcaza muy dura que la protege de todo lo malo: siempre que alguna desgracia sucede, decide fingir que está bien: le es más fácil que aceptar que se siente constantemente abandonada por todos. Tiene mucho miedo de nunca ser lo suficientemente importante para sus seres queridos y que la abandonen a la primera de cambio, así que siempre se muestra fuerte e independiente. Xiao Yao solo quiere que la quieran, la elijan y la cuiden.

Después de esta revelación entramos a la segunda parte de la serie donde Cang Xuan debe enfrentarse a todos sus tíos (que lo quieren bien muertito) por el trono en una pelea política que no les voy a contar porque es larguísima y sumamente entretenida, así que véanla Uds. Pero allí conocemos al cuarto interés romántico de nuestra protagonista femenina: Chishui Feng Long. Lo único que voy a decir de él es que mejor se dedique a la política y abandone el amor. Vive demasiado en su mundo, no entiende lo que quiere/necesita Xiao Yao y siempre entiende todo mal. Amigo reiná y no rompas las bolas, gracias.

Una de las cosas que más me gustaron fue el anhelo y los celos de Cang Xuan respecto a su estimadísima Xiao Yao. Según la sinopsis de la serie, son primos de sangre, salvo por su puesto que ella sea genuinamente hija del demonio (yo creo que sí, espero con ansias el día en que pueda recuperar su poder aunque no sé si sucederá), Como aprieta los puños cada vez que Ye ShiQi está cerca, las lágrimas cuando la lastima, la desesperación por revivirla cuando ella muere (no sería un xian xia si alguien no se muere y revive). Es un anhelo tóxico porque siempre se está refrenando de decirle cuanto la ama en pos de mantenerla a salvo del quilombo político en el que él está metido. Necesito ver su descenso a la locura por amor. Su anhelo me hace bien a la salud. Pero la serie está tan bien planteada que no importa con quien se quede ella finalmente, cualquiera me va a gustar. Todas sus posibles parejas tienen una personalidad y esencia única que realzan una parte de la personalidad de nuestra hermosa protagonista.

En fin, espero con ansias la segunda temporada que espero llegue pronto y no dentro de un año y medio. Siento que la review estuvo medio por todos lados, pero tenía mucho que decir. Seguro después la edite o agregue en comentarios otras cosas. Nos vemooos <3

Un capolavoro raffinato , introspettivo e intimista.

Questa serie NON merita una valutazione così bassa rispetto ad altre che ho visto qui recensite che non hanno la stessa qualità in termini di sceneggiature, scenografia, musiche, fotografia e prestazioni interpretative.
Il lavoro su ogni personaggio è preciso e minuzioso, strutturato e credibile.
Comprendo comunque che sia un lavoro raffinato e di nicchia, psicologico e introspettivo che non arriva a tutti, molti si sono concentrato solo sul triangolo trascurando che c'è molto di più dietro... e molte hanno dato basse valutazioni perché preferivano una scelta diversa per la protagonista , quindi per egoistiche pretese ma al di la di quali siano le nostre preferenze è coerente e credibile e vanno premiate le perfomance incredibili degli attori principali, la fotografie, le musiche, la scenografia. E' un capolavoro !
Si tratta di uno xianxia/xianxhuan ma con riferimenti più che altro, non è vissuto in regni separati con incantesimi e grandi poteri, sebbene ci siano scene surreali e magiche.
La storia è oscura, bellissima, piena di suspense e commovente, fatta di intrighi, tradimenti e desiderio. Questo è uno spettacolo immersivo, evocativo, psicologico, con una forte aura di mistero, brivido e pericolo, con un sussurro di rimpianto e un senso di profonda perdita e desiderio che pervade ogni scena. È sì storia d'amore MA non è soltanto una storia d'amore. È un'esposizione molto più complessa e ampia delle molteplici forme d'amore e di come possano essere restrittive e sconfinate allo stesso tempo.
Questo lavoro ha un'intensità e una tensione che nessun drama cinese ha finora raggiunto, le prestazioni dei due protagonisti sono superbe e nessun lavoro cinese finora visto riesce ad eguagliarlo.
Per chi ha visto il coreano moon lovers vi dico solo che lo eguaglia e lo supera, giusto per farvi capire di che livello stiamo parlando.

TRAMA: il racconto è ambientato a Dahuang, in un mondo magico, insidioso e imprevedibile dove umani, demoni e divinità coesistono, in un tempo indefinito, due cugini della famiglia reale, divenuti orfani giurano di proteggersi per sempre. Distrutta dalla promessa infranta, Xiao Yao si perde, smarrita in un periodo di grande tumulto. Potendo cambiare aspetto, assume le sembianze di un uomo e vive tra gli umani e i demoni della città di Qingshui, come medico esperto di fertilità del villaggio. Quando è alle strette, Xiao Yao è abilissima a strisciare, mentire o avvelenare per uscire dai guai. Eppure è spensierata, disinibita e quasi contenta nella città di Qingshui con un gruppo di amici che protegge e mantiene. In Qing Shui, salva un moribondo, apparentemente vagabondo, gli dà un nome e una nuova identità; successivamente incontra anche un demone a nove teste dall'aspetto umano di nome Xiang Liu. Questo demone è violento, rude e impaziente con lei, ma ne sembra anche stranamente attratto. Nel frattempo, il cugino d'infanzia Cang Xuan finalmente riesce a ritrovarla, mandando in frantumi il rifugio che si era creata... . Xiao Yao decide di aiutare il cugino nella conquista del trono, Tushan Jing deciderà anch'egli di sostenerne l'ascesa, attraverso il supporto delle famiglie risentite delle Pianure centrali, dove i clan e le famiglie nobili hanno complicati legami di sangue nello sconfitto Stato di Chenrong. Xiao Yao è la principessa dell'Haoling, una pedina che Cang Xuan penzola in modo allettante davanti ai rampolli delle potenti famiglie aristocratiche che cerca di conquistare. Il matrimonio per lui è un mezzo per suggellare alleanze mentre reprime il desiderio profondo e segreto nel suo cuore.
Zhang Wan Yi ritrae abilmente Cang Xuan come un politico consumato, una tigre in agguato, sorridente e molto pericolosa (viene definito appunto xiàomiànhǔ, tigre sorridente, 笑面虎). L'amore non è di fondamentale importanza per Cang Xuan e Xiao Yao, i cui destini si intrecciano a causa del giuramento d'infanzia. Lavorano per uno scopo superiore con un cuore e una mente sola. Chiunque altro viene subordinato a questo scopo. Sono entrambi personaggi irraggiungibili che si sono dedicati pienamente l'uno all'altro e non rimane molto per nessun altro. Ecco perché ciò che Xiao Yao cerca è una relazione impari, qualcuno che si sacrifichi per lei e che non abbia sete di potere, in modo da garantirle una devozione incondizionata, un uomo privo di ambizioni inoltre non la abbandonerà, come hanno fatto tutti. Xiao Yao è di gran lunga la protagonista femminile più oscura, complessa e indipendente che abbia mai incontrato in un drama asiatico. Il ruolo è intenso ed emotivamente coinvolgente, evoca una profondità interiore complessa e variegata, interpretato magistralmente da Yang Zi; rimango sconvolta e sconcertata per la solidità della sua interpretazione. Il suo Wei Xiaoliu (nei primi episodi vestirà i panni di un uomo) ha decisamente spodestato qualsiasi attrice cinese travestita da personaggio maschile per gesture, mimica, linguaggio e postura.

E' un capolavoro elegante , raffinato ma anche crudo e sottilmente spietato che rende l'umanità di ogni personaggio sfaccettata e stratificata e dà una visione nuda e cruda di cosa significhi il potere assoluto, di cosa richieda e comporti, di quali sacrifici implichi, i due protagonisti compiono percorsi opposti, Cang Xuan vuole diventare visibile al mondo, la cugina Xiao Yao al contrario cerca l'invisibilità e la pace.
Tutto di questo lavoro è reso con una nuda , bruta e totale crudezza da risultare illuminante.
I momenti romantici si trovano ben distribuiti e ben strutturati, certe scene degli episodi 28-29 raggiungono un lirismo ed una tensione erotica struggente senza che si sfoci nella volgarità, tutto è reso sottilmente attraverso lo sguardo, la respirazione, sospiri e batticuori, accompagnato da musiche raffinate e ipnotiche.

Unico neo sono i combattimenti che non sono molto scenografici ma semplici e poco "spettacolari", del resto non è un wunxia.
Gli animali al pc sono sempre il tallone d'achille delle serie cinesi e alcune soluzioni mi son sembrate ridicole (tipo rinascita dal fiore in stile botticelliano, conchiglie giganti , palle marine che sono di plastica analogamente a quelle che trovi al distributore di sfere di plastica che vinci inserendo 2 euro e girando una leva ).Gli effetti speciali sono ottimi, del resto questo è un lavoro introspettivo e psicologico, con un'ottima fotografia e scenografia.

In questo lavoro ho trovato , ma è personale, lenta e meno interessante la parte comprensiva dei primi dieci episodi, Yang Zi è stata fenomenale rivelandosi la più matura professionista nel panorama cinese. Da Ashes of love è come se avesse raggiunto una piena maturità professionale che la rende totalmente in grado di dare voce alla complessità della protagonista, i direttori dei lavori hanno fatto un lavoro eccezionale su di lei, dirigendola magistralmente, variando postura, voce e movenze nelle scene da uomo rispetto alla femminilità poi ritrovata nelle scene da donna, con il volto sa rendere ogni tipo di emozione che prova il suo personaggio principale. La straziante scena del rientro nell'Haoling nella stagione 1 e la confessione del cugino nell'episodio 18 della seconda stagione, sconvolge, cattura appieno la profondità e la disperazione del senso di abbandono per la persona che ha perso. Non riesco a pensare a un altro attore che abbia portato l'interpretazione a un livello così visibilmente elevato come Yang Zi.

Le emozioni che ho provato sono indescrivibili, mi sono immedesimata in ognuno di loro e sono rimasta affascinata dal personaggio elfico e puro di Tushan Jing, sebbene il migliore come intensità e bravura sia Zhang Wanyi.

Ho trovato fastidioso il personaggio del demone a nove teste in questa serie, ma va capito e analizzato perché subisce un'interessante evoluzione, un arco narrativo molto interessante rimanendo sempre fedele all'originario: ambivalente e oscuro, apparentemente utilitarista nelle scelte che compie.
La figura più complessa e psicologicamente studiata è quella di Cang Xuan, resa magistralmente da Zhang Wanyi.
Se poi volete riscattarlo dalla oscurità che lo caratterizza guardate are you the one dove , qui su viki, dove risulta più leggero e spassoso. Per me che ho visto l'altro lavoro di quest'anno non posso notare che ci siano dei punti di contatto con Lost you forever ma non scrivo qui per uscire fuori tema, vi invito solo a guardarlo dopo aver visto anche la seconda stagione.
Meravigliose e ipnotiche le musiche, alcune cantate anche dagli stessi personaggi.
