Not up to the hype

I started watching when they were releasing the episode one by one and just watched two episodes and dropped it
I have read the book and the character in the book are v interesting
Now let's talk about the acting ZZ had an expressionless face, In the beginning, u see him as a ruthless guy but his body language was soft, his body moments doesn't imply that he is an assassin. He kept the head the same expression throughout the whole drama.
Simon Gong makeup in the initial episodes are v bad and too much over an d theatrical acting, CG is bad. you can see fake trees and rocks and that will put you off
episode 14 onwards it gets v boring too much talk, so many characters and you don't understand what is their role in the drama I dropped the series at episode 16 had enough, started another series but came back after few days
So many illogical scenes
If Simon Gong character dies, how he comes back just after one episode at least give some time
The last three episodes move too fast all mashed up trying to finish
Overall its an average series nothing special
People are talking about chemistry but frankly, there is no chemistry between the two main leads, they can be just friend. You won't see any longing, loving gaze any where.
there is more propaganda about it, when the first episode came they already labelled it the best series
Too much overacting, theatrical expression the only saving grace was voice dubbed actors they did a great job, sometimes they had more expression than the real actors speaking it

Go and Watch

Just finished watching it in theater and have immensely enjoyed
Theater was full but there was pin drop silence seem every one enjoyed it at the end they also just 10 sec of animation scene
Lucky for me there was English translation too.
let me first talk about some thing which can ghave been improved , some more editing there are too many character and their side stories. and some scenes are left unanswered End is a cliffhanger
I would have prefer more scene between two main lead Chen Kuna nd Zhou Xun as their chemistry was awesome
and other character background stories were not needed
Story flow smoothly, performance by all is awesome Chenkun has charishma and screen presence whenever he was there u cant look at anything else
Shaw Qu acted well I had seen him before in Bloody romance he is good
But not 10-10 to Ci Mu sorry may be 8/10 Loved all the monsters they were more cute than horror I will definitely watch it again

Sorry to say a big disappointment here , Nothing new to offer bad acting, bad story and many illogical sequence. Male lead cant do complicated scene, he keeps same expression through out while female is over acting her acting can be seen as forced. Story wise nothing new to offer.
I started watching with lot of expectation and hope. but alas it was waste of time but whole first six month of 2020 not a single good series which I can say can get 9. some had good story but the whole package was not good, This series could have been better but it follows the same road get stretched in the middle

Just Hyped

The drama which could have been finished in 20 episodes have been dragged to 32
Story
Nothing special not too many twists or any hidden secret its plain and simple
Acting: Female lead Dillreba has acted well and she did bring life to the character her acting when she is happy chirpya nd when she is heartbroken is on the point
Like acting of some supporting actors
OST is good but not something I will hear again and again or download
rewatch value is zero, Frankly I watched it cause I hear so much hype that it's the best drama of the yr but sorry to say its not Yang Yang acting is not good he had the same melancholy and sullen expression throughout
There were more propaganda than real issues or serious discussion

I thought it will be a good drama

Sorry to say till now its totally illogical, Shiggou sacrifice herself to bring peace to God realm, but Xunyi is out why and how? where are the bigger God and his promise that if Shiggou dies there will be peace?
who will be God of Chaos..totally messed up story sorry to say it's a waste of time? It's like director and producer sat with the writer and said ok lets make some series and they went on writing a s it was going. No serious thought was given. Please if u make a drama story is the most imp part, not just actor and actresses.
It cant be saved with great acting
I watched it cause I like Xinxia drama and I like Xu kai
But even Xu kai can't save a poor drama
The female lead is ok she doesn't look powerful to be the God
she is a God but her veins are block but she was chosen as God why and how?
when 70,000 years back Xunyi refused to sacrifice himself did the whole world died??
everyone is trying to protect Shiggou cause she is v cute ( I didn't find her cute)
I don't know if I will go on watching as since 10 episodes I have been watching it on a higher speed Till now I don't feel connected sorry Xu kai. I m watching now at 1.25 speed on Youtube

What mash up

I had lot of expectation but its enjoyable not some thing extraordinary
story of innocent and kind girl falling in love with a KIng/ZGod?powerful man is old now we have seen in many dramas before.
A female power is hiddent damage is also old nothing new there
ok first let me tell u what I liked here Acting and personality of two main leads they carried the whole drama on their shoulder through out . Impressed with both. Costumes and set were good .
problem was narrative it goes well but midway didnt know what was happening
How come ny one can come and go in Moon kingdom Jiali comes and go to Haishi and no one cares
Some of the girls are so thin that i was really worried if they can fight

Cheng hang acting was better when he is in mortal realm, his costume as God of war looks like plastic tubes
I didnt understand why Chidi was revived when she dies within two episodes of her revival and who was God of war after she was revived
So many things were left answer I m giving it 8 just for Dylan and Esther . Good point it was only 36 episodes and after 25 I have been watching it at a faster speed

When u travel in bus train or whenever you are at any public place do u ever stop and look at those unknown faces around u and think of their story
This drama makes u think and feel about others. How there is some story behind those unknown faces
when we read any news of any accident crash blast we just read feel sorry and than after one day fiorget
How we always judge others for their appearance and clothes
This drama makes u take a break from ur phone and to look around u, The story is good but most imp acting of every one is v good specially the female protaganist and inspector Zhang ( I am biased here ) he stole my heart in the first glance
Zhao ji mi has lots of potential and now i m going to follow her
Bai jing ting is good but at some time I felt he didnt know what to express
the only thing I dont lik justification of ny crime and till the end they dont show remorse
This drama made me think that I will be careful next time in passing comment if I read some news I have seen many are so insensitive that they dont care when they read ny news of death suicide and start judging the person and even his family we just ignore tha fact that that person family loved one may be reading and how will they feel at ep 12 i was at the edge of my chair
drama could have been further short to 12 or 13
ny one good try must watch for all good drama lovers dont miss

After dropping at ep 16 I restarted it again cause couldnt find ny other good drama to watch and I like wuxia drama
Let me make it straight compare to otehr wuxia drama this one is just average
it starts good but loses its temp in between
suddenly everything become illogical repetitive
specially in the middle that village where they meet cannibel's was completely lifter from MDZS /untamed the Yi city arc , same kind of village, misty dangling of bell, woman walking alone on desrted street , I was expecting even Lin Hua to cook a porridge
Feels like writer didnt have ny idea how to make it 40 episodes series
Acting wise Joseph zhang has impressed me. alot in an eagerly loving young boy and his loyalty to Li Lan Hua is commendable
Chengyi was better than all his previous drama
among females only that evil princess in red impress me
worst part all seniors make up was v bad some just have put one strip white hair as wig to look old but tehir face had no wrinkle and full makeup
I dont think i will rewatch it again

Gem among modern romantic drama

I was not expecting much as I am not a fan of modern romance dramas I have tried few before but gave up after few days
BUt heard so much hype about this one so thought why not I like bothe main leads two good looking and good actors and believe me I was hook with the first episodes
Acting and their chemistry onscreen is just awesome they lit fire whenever they are on screen
Complexes of Dr Gu wi is v well portrayed his happiness his guilt his fear all are v relatable
I have seen a close person a doctor struggling when his one case failed and t hat family b;lamed him so i have seen it close quarters and good this light drama tried to talk about that still didnt take ny dark path Xiao zhan has portrayed hsi role well he has proven in Untamed that he is a good actor now he has proven that he i snot a one drama wonder he is good looking good actor and he is going to stay here
Ms Gu lin is bubbly girl who has dream to do something in life her relation with her parents have been portrayed well her both parents acted v well they really look like a family
Like the actor who played Dr Gu wei's Cousin after this he will get more offer I can see it
Story is light and played well didnt see ny filling water scenes thats why I enjoyed it more there were no scenes I wanted to skip
re watch value is ten cause I already started re watching it now
Ost are awesome three main songs are now in my playlist
So just go and watch it You will definitely enjoy it

Why is this series so famous????

I thought I wrote my first review when I was at episode 7 but now when I search I did not post and don't know what happened
So though I was not impressed by it and wanted to give up but I want on watching and now I am at my 28th episode . Did my view changed sorry to say No I still think its not a great series and frankly I am surprised who gave it ten points . Now knowing little bit about chinese fandom I think i know how it got such high ranking
story is nothing new in fact its a mix of all you have seen before girl has no senses, ashes of love, she is in her ;ife where she doesn't remember eternal love, she is God of war and she doesn't remember nything , Gu insect i heard about it in three different series
I m not impress by main male lead so far episode 28 and i dont see ny expression on him but yes female main lead had surprised me she has really done a good job , her acting is fine and she express well no over acting here
most irritating is the girl Linglong her sister
and worst character is of Dijun may be we were spoiled by Dijun from eternal love series this Dijun is selfish, conniving and self centered
There are so many loopholes in story and it stretched a bit in all these episodes from 20-28
Chinese drams need to improve tehir treatment and should do some good serious dramas instead of same repetitive stuff
Throw some love candies so that we can say wow , show some torture to make audience cry , create misunderstanding between the couples
OK I dont know how far I will watch , now I m watching it while cleaning my house Good luck to me

The message was v clr but given in a wrong way
Should king be selescted as per his ability or just cause he is son of the king
Ny way story is about the Xiao family father an dhis two son , they r loyal to the kingdom , brave strategic but in palace teher are peole who are jelaous and scared and they think that this family can revolt and take the kingdom so tehy plot against them all the time
Story till episodes 36 is awesome acting of Huang xing and Turbo liu is awesome they both made me cry so much
But my hert was taken by father Sun Chen such a great actor , his acting his body language will make u believe in him
there are v few female character but three main females are strong independent Meng xiao is beautiful and act well her charcter is well written but director didnt use her after he husband died she was just left to be on her own
I read lots of criticism about Lin xi but I liked her character she is different she is not in sword fight she is a dedicated healer and she is strong she doesnt want to change for any one as her passion is to heal people actress was v beautiful and one regret she got v less screen time with the main lead they did had chemistry and when they r talking to each other u can see the trust and love for each otehr
third female is the empress I know she is the negative character but her acting is good she over power every scenes she is in , she is helpless mother she was always scared for her son's life and she does all these foolish thing for her
but the only disappointment was Yuan qi actor was good but his character was given too much of screen time which was not needed we wanted to see Turbo but what i see his story if that would have cut down the series would have got 9.5 from me. specially even in the last scene director gave him more dialogues to explain why he did what he did. It was not shown that he knew his mother was killed by the same person whom he takes as master and learn all tricks so that scene at the end is really doesnt explain his character as he said he knew it .
ny watch it , its really good it kept me hook for three dyas I binged watched will look forward to this director and Turbo drama

Brought back so many memories , I am in China but in Shanghai one of my colleague had left for Wuhan for holidays
we messaged each and every friends not so good friend, just to ask there where about, one ex colleague was working in Wuhan and had left on 19th for Canada and he is still stuck there
Nurses DRs workers, delivary boy , police security all had tough time
Even can see how people were irritated and rude with medical worker, hats off to those two workers going door to door to check
Wuhan and hwole world medical worker labors had a tough time an d they are still fighting , big bow to them

I enjoyed the ride as I was not expecting much from this
but i got hooked once Xiaoar enter the scene
production quality was good love the dresses and colour of sets and Xiaoar'sd dresses
Story is not anything special if u have seen many wuxia its same I felt so much resemblance with The legend of condor heroes except main protagonist there was v innocent while here he is trickster . but its all different masters different character journey a map
acting by Chen Zheyuan is v good I have never seen his otehr drama so loved him here his eyes are v expressive
Hutiyan didn't have much expression as hs character is shown to be a silent quiet one but he look elegant
Love all zodiac signs depiction character ,and ten great villain the most Jiang Be he and his son Jiang Yulang acted well I hated him so much and was surprised why he never got killed but than how would story would unfold
What was disappointing was all females charcter main female protagonist Tie xin lin I liked her but her carcter was monotonous , Su character was forced one
I didn't understand why all females were shown to fall in love with Xiao'r but yes his character was lovable even i fell for him but why later Miss Tie says she loves other brother , why director thought that they should show some girl with him that triangle was totally badly dipicted and left me forward scenes of them , I didnt like Miss su at all i think her charcter was forced in the story . I felt Xiaor chemistry more with Miss Mu than ny other females
Last arc of Rat cave was most boring and un necessary , if they could have made that well this drama would have been iconic
i enjoyed it till last four episode than started skipping
I felt directors had some problem with adaptation as all adopted parents were shown bad
re watch: NO I wont but now going to look for Chen Zheyuan other dramas
