Oshare (Gorgeous) is excited about spending summer vacation with her father, until she finds out that his beautiful, freakishly serene girlfriend Ryouko would be going as well. Oshare decides she will be going to her aunt's house in the country instead. She brings with her her friends from school - Fanta (who likes to take pictures, and daydreams a lot), KunFuu (who has very good reflexes), Gari/Prof (who is a major nerd), Sweet (who likes to clean), Mac (who eats a lot), and Melody (a musician). However, the girls are unaware that Oshare's aunt is actually dead and the house is actually haunted. When they arrive at the house, crazy events take place and the girls disappear one by one while slowly discovering the secret behind all the madness. Add Synopsis In Spanish

This is a movie that is sure to keep you interested, yet also keep you wondering about a lot of things. I wanted to check out this movie after seeing a trailer of it on Hulu, so I decided to watch it. Well, the movie was alright, but the music was way too campy and made me think I was watching some kind of musical horror movie (despite it being a 70's horror flick). What's more was it left me feeling quite confused , yet it also kept me somewhat satisfied.

I recommend this movie if you want a movie that is pretty cheesy, but will keep you somewhat interested. Also recommend it if you are interested in horror films from back then (though I will warn you, it will leave you quite confused and keep you wanting to ask for more questions).

The film is about a girl named Oshare, who seems to still not handle her mother's death. Externally, she looks like a happy girl inside, but is full of sadness and unspoken longings. When her father then informs her that she plans a holiday together with her new girlfriend, she plans to return and instead visits her mother's sister with her friends. The initial light mood tilts and turns into a nightmare.
Nobuhiko Obayashi made a film that is hard to beat for the absurd. It's a horror movie, but, in its kind, it never assumes the serious atmosphere one would expect from a horror movie. The film remains consistent. This consistent is absurd and violent. The focus is mostly on the wall because this is the antagonist of girls. In no other film, do we have a piano that likes to eat virgins. Because after that greedy house and aunt - virgins. Instead of serious tension, it depends a lot on the mood. In contrast, flashbacks are in the last days. These are usually kept in black and white and have at most individual colors to accentuate.
