Be Prepared to be annoyed!
I started to watch this because I really like the male lead but when one of the female characters (no spoilers so I won't say which one) becomes super annoying and the ML/Fl's relationship goes back and forth too many times...well, what can I say, it just all gets a bit too much.I also think the producers have give a very bad example of how young women should behave. Not only with the obsessive, unhealthy behaviour of the character already mentioned, but also the extremely immature behaviour of one of the other female characters.
All in all, only watch this if you really, really like the main actors and you have a high tolerance for being annoyed.
I'm editing this again because I forgot to add that unless your Chinese is slightly more than basic, don't bother watching this at all. You won't understand most of what is going on because the translation into English is mostly rubbish. The female lead is referred to as "If a man" because that's what her name is (more or less) in Chinese, and there doesn't seem to be any awareness of who is a male and who is a female (total pronoun mess!)

Back n forth relationship between the leads… only watch if u like the casts!
I have mixed feelings about this drama, so here it goes…What I like:
- The leads… i like both of them as actors n i’ve seen some of their works… they look cute together n their chems is good too…
- FL’s job as artist’s agent in the entertainment industry & ML’s position as a CEO of a fashion company r the interesting part of the drama… they work in the same field, so there r some work related stuff between them that I like… it’s how they support each other as friends n also lovers…
What I don’t like:
- The back and forth of the relationship between the leads r just too much for me… it’s like they like each other kinda early, but ML backs off so many times that it annoys me… n finally when he’s totally committed to FL, his past came back n triggered lots of probs…
- Not enough happy moments for the leads… it’s like they kinda got together in an eps n kinda broke up in the next eps… so for me they never catch a breath n watching it kinda exhausting in a way…
- SML’s plot is just so sad (boy falls for noona kind)… he fell for FL early n only let go almost at the end, which left him alone… such a stubborn unreasonable character…
Overall, this is just an ok drama for me… i like both leads, thats why i started n finished this drama… like i said, the back n forth thing annoyed me a lot, especially for 43eps drama i watched on going, so honestly I skipped some of boring n cheesy parts… IMO just watch this if u really like the leads, the plot is kinda all over the place… but it’s a HE…

DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME
I got through this with a lot of fast forwarding. The best part of this whole drama was the fashion, the ins and outs of the entertainment business, the mental health issues, and at the beginning when Ji Mo was sensitive to the heavy set woman's fashions. Other than that, it was pretty irritating and boring with such a lack of chemistry and PDA with the Leads. The Supports had better kisses than Ji Mo and Ruo. I also detested the ML a lot so many times throughout this long and tedious drama, and I felt the strong independent FL let the ML Jerk, get away with way too much. But then that is the fault of the writers and the director. I made it thru but barely and I had to take long breaks from it.My suggestion; don't even start this one. It's a huge disappointment.

Started out good..but
I really liked the first 10 episodes. The chemistry between the actors was very good and promising. But the romance between them gets more and more disappointing the longer the story goes on and I found myself hoping that they would both find different partners. I like both their individual character developments, but there are a lot of things where I thought the script writer was building up an exciting road for the couple, but then he just destroyed it with a stupid story twist. I really liked the romance between the supporting actors though.The story got kind of disappointing at some point. So I stopped watching.

Horrible first episode, horrible development
I normally dont write reviewsLets get started. What a trainwreck of a first episode. You just want to start hating the FL. Decent episodes from like 3-10 and then the trainwreck starts again till the end.
Si Da weird character, no development, nothing interesting, even a little weird at times and not the good weird.
Shen Qian Sha interesting character at first, weird development and why does she fall for Song Zi Hao at the end?
Tong Tong couldve been one the most interesting characters of this show, why not use her and develop her into the main hurdle in this serie? How she has been used in this serie feels just like some sort of filler.
Su Xiao appearences other than flashbacks added absolutely nothing to the storie. What a shame.
ML, Chen Fei Er & Ai Li were acceptable characters. Not great, but not terrible either.
Overall so much missed things; overall no development in characters, flatt storyline and a horrible FL.

Love
I feel this is such a refreshing drama with many fundamental topics discussed and I love how the growth and formation of relationships are slower but worth it. I also love the cast and their acting is so cute and funny. I love the messages about self-love, body positivity and romantic love. I feel like the first couple of eps 1-10 were pretty fast-paced but now it has calmed down (ep27). The only thing I found annoying is the fact that on youtube some of the scenes you can not hear what the main leads are saying while the audio is fine for the not sure If they will fix it anytime soon.but all in all It's so worth the watch.

Tant de potentiel gâché !!
J'ai regardé cette série pour les 2 leads que j'aime beaucoup ❤❤❤ mais, malgré le plot de départ attrayant, je n'ai pas tardé à décrocher.L'histoire est mal écrite, le rythme est lent et agaçant, et surtout le personnage du ML, toujours hésitant, confus, peu décisif et qui pour finir, prend "plaisir à se tourmenter lui-même pour une responsabilité imaginaire". .. Sérieux ???
Son ex l'a quitté, le laissant dans un sale état, avec un trauma,... et quand elle fait son grand retour, il se sent coupable ? Sérieux ? Il accepte de porter la responsabilité de la rupture ? Sérieux ?
Je vais être méchante, mais je me demande combien de nuits sans sommeil ont conduit le screenwriter à écrire une story aussi incohérente !
Dommage car ce drama avait un beau potentiel ...

As atuações do elenco são muito boas, protagonistas e coadjuvantes deram um show na interpretação exigida pelo personagem. A capacidade do ator Jin Han nas cenas cômicas foi uma grata surpresa, pois estou acostumada com o ator dando vida a vários personagens e, cada vez mais, o trabalho dele me conquista pela qualidade de interpretação e versatilidade entre personagens tão distintos.
A direção soube criar boas cenas e finalizou com chave de ouro, mas pecou bastante na edição.

Sobre o amor que nos faz brilhar
Ok, eu realmente nunca sei o que me leva ou não a gostar de um drama. Mas creio que num geral é sobre gostar ou não do casal protagonista, se eles me prendem quando estão juntos, isso que as pessoas chamam de química. Antes mesmo de assistir eu já sabia que os dois passavam essa sensação boa quando estão juntos, vendo alguns trechos das cenas. Não concordo muito com isso de recomendar ou não dramas, porque acho que vai depender muito do gosto de cada um, e o que me move pode não te mover. Eu me apaixonei no primeiro episódio, e fiquei obcecada em assistir. Terminei em vinte dias porque os episódios não estavam todos liberados. Foi bem intenso para mim e emocionante.Acho que conta uma história bonita de amor, apesar dos altos e baixos, das separações. Eles ficam bem juntos e transmitem isso. Também é engraçada, e gosto de coisas que me fazem rir. Realmente eu me chateei com a atitude do Ji Mo algumas vezes, tive raiva dele. Mas consigo entender os sentimentos dele. Acho muito bonita a forma como eles se apaixonam, e como o Ji Mo apoia a Ruonan, mesmo quando eles estão separados ele sempre está ali para ela. Também acho bonito o jeito que a Ruonan ama ele, sei lá, meio entregada, sem medo de dizer, de perdoar, de confiar. E apesar de estar instável no início acredito que o Ji Mo conseguiu realmente demonstrar seu amor por ela. Acho que esse é um dos dramas em que o casal mais fez declarações, tipo o Ji Mo dizia umas coisas tão bonitas para ela que era difícil não se convencer. Teve uma cena que eles disseram eu te amo um para outro de uma forma tão espontânea que até me pareceu meio ocidental, porque geralmente há um certo bloqueio em dizer eu te amo. Eu também achei que aquele beijo deles quando eles estavam em outra cidade, na árvore dos desejos, foi muito bom, aquele beijo valeu por todos os sofrimentos dos outros episódios, eles realmente têm uma boa química juntos. A cena final foi tão perfeita que eu nem sei comentar. Foi uma das confissões mais bonitas que eu já vi.
Em suma, é algo sobre o amor, sobre estar fechado por tanto tempo, ter sido ferido e conseguir encontrar alguém que te faça se abrir de novo, te faça encontrar seu verdadeiro brilho. Sobre como às vezes nos fazemos de fortes e fingimos estar bem. Mas o quanto no fundo precisamos de alguém que nos faça sentir seguros, nos faça sentir em casa. Num mundo que tudo que nos ensina é que devemos ser fortes e nos bastar sozinhos, acho que são sempre válidas histórias que valorizam o amor.
Bom, quanto a crítica: as legendas realmente são terríveis, é realmente um pouco desesperador, dá vontade de entrar lá e legendar direito, mas se você souber um pouco de chinês dá pra se virar. É só uma pena que as legendas sejam tão ruins. Também percebo que algumas cenas foram cortadas, e isso me incomoda um pouco, me sinto roubada. E o Si Da, acho que podiam ter feito aparecer alguém para ele se apaixonar e não deixar ele até o fim apaixonado pela Dugu Ruonan.
A trilha sonora também foi perfeita. Até encontrar um novo drama para me apegar vou sentir saudades.
Enfim, se você tiver um gosto parecido com o meu com certeza você irá se apaixonar.
