The Romance of Hua Rong (2019)

In Hua Rong, the daughter of a general, was forced to become the wife of the pirate king Qin Shangcheng. In qing qing zi jin , the female lead was also forced to marry the male lead who was the bandit leader, dong shanjun.
Both the FL wanted to become heroes.
Both are lighthearted historical romantic drama.

- ML is with a criminal organization and carries his own investigation for personal motives, smart/cunning with great martial skills

The Romance of Hua Rong is better for the romance and more light hearted, Cinderella Chef has a much better production and overall plot and character writing but has some darker parts.

In both dramas the other of the leads gets dragged into marriage and it's hate to love relationship between the leads. Both have strong ML and FL who is independent and solves problems by herself.

Both FL were accidentally intertwined with the ML and boom, fate was initiated!

Both ML were kinda of scheming too. These couples is combo to the maximum!

even though 1 is a lakorn and another is c-drama, both have same baseline story where the main lead are the good guide masked in bad guy appearance ( robber/pirates) and the female lead are from rich and prestige family. both drama show the female lead was forced to marry the main lead and throughout the period we can see how their love grow and how they solve the problem they encounter as a couple.

Both FL are eccentric and funny. But Hua Rong sometimes dresses like a man to go badass but Yan never does that yet always acts with her heart and spreads baddassness.

But I like the behavior of HT more than the latter but they have different antics so it's nice nice.

Both ML have brothers.

ML in HT is calm and considerate. The ideal and caring guy. Hmmm if you analyze the ML in TRHR, I think he's like this too. The difference was he teased the FL at first.

Both main lead actors (male and female) are smart and cheeky with similar personality, the way their romance developes is also similar as they try to trick one another but end up falling. Both have a lot of rom-com in it with good intense chemistry. Just the main difference is that the eternal love takes place in palace while in hua rong its more about adventure filled with free lifestyle and side missions.

All I can say is that they both have similar vibes. FLs are both bright, somewhat naive, and have strong senses of justice. One already is what they call a "hero of jianghu" and the other is trying to be one.

Both amazing comedies!

Both dramas involves forced marriage. The storyline for these two dramas focuses on uncovering the main villain, prior to that they would alway catch other less important villians. In both dramas, the couples do not like each other at first and thus have a lot of cute fights. In General's Lady, the couple fall in love quicker than The Romance of Hua Rong. For the female lead in General's Lady her goal is to be a wife whom the husband can rely on and confide in whereas in The Romance of Hua Rong, the female lead goal is to be a heroine, but both are considered to be smart and witty. Both male leads are very good in martial arts and always save the female leads from danger. Initially, they may appear cold and heartless, but will reveal to be kind hearted and empathetic.
