In both dramas a guy has difficulty to express his feelings towards a girls, which leeds to misunderstandings. In both cases guys are seen as "psychopaths" by some people and there is a development in relationship from hate.

Both are high school romcoms with an unconventional feel and good cinematography. Both feature love triangles with a quirky female lead.

Similiar editing style, coming of age story, about highschool students and their relationships, also about getting into university, the struggles of studying, friendship, first loves etc.

Both dramas are quite realistic, yet have funny moments. While Failing in Love is a drama about teenagers and their struggles with school and first loves, Because This Is My First Life is a drama about adults at the beginning of their 30's , dealing with life problems such as marriage and work.

The way that the histories are from teenage and relationships and problems about the adult life that it's comming. And both are really good

While Failing in Love is a more coming of age story with a little more realism doing a great job in portraying the complexity of being a teenager. Best Mistake is a more fluffy, fun to watch and doesn't really have a deeper message but it is nice to binge-watch.

Both dramas are quite short and have great actors! They both are part of the coming of age genre, with similar storylines as both are about high school students and the struggles of studying and in general the struggles of being a teenager. Also, both dramas finish with an open-end, living the watcher to draw her/his conclusions.
