Both dramas begin with the FL searching for someone she met years ago who she intends to marry and can only identify by a mark of some kind (birthmark vs. a mark he draws). She identifies the ML as this person and begins following him despite his rejection and having no memory of her. Just as he's falling for her, she begins to believe someone else is the person she's looking for. Both FLs are forward, quirky, offbeat/unusual, and endearing.

Both are fluffy dramas about a duo solving mysteries and crimes in ancient China.

A story that follows the quirky female investigator Tian Sanqi as she searches for her long lost 'brother' and cracks many cases along the way.

Growing up, Tian Sanqi had a strange liking for performing autopsies. She had an older 'brother' who would always be by her side and they spent many good years together. One day, he mysteriously disappears. Sanqi as a child promises to find her true love and vows never to marry unless it's him.

In her search, she comes across many potential candidates and forms new friendships. The gang accidentally becomes involved in several cases in the area one of which seems closely related to the disappearance of her 'brother' all those years ago. A shocking conspiracy that is 10 years in the making comes to light.

Both FLs are quirky, cute, and a bit forward/flirty toward the ML, chasing him first. Both couples work together to investigate cases and solve mysteries. The pacing, tone, setting, and feel is very similar, as well.

The biggest similarities between these two dramas are the high level of comedy and the fluffy romance. Both don't take themselves too seriously and the characters are very funny, peculiar and adorable.

I liked both of the dramas as the two have a simple story, no complications, no misunderstandings, full of love, happy endings, simple but nice twists(which went smoothly), trustworthy royal families and cute main couples. If you have watched even one of these then, you know what I mean by the above description ;D.

FL likes to do detective work as a hobby, and finds work with the magistrate ML, solving criminal cases. Both are also fluffy dramas.

Both dramas are a blend of mystery and romance with a initially brash-seeming inwardly marshmallow of a ML and a innocent FL.
