When age and mental capabilities don't match? Thus completely oblivious

Edit: There is only a certain amount of stupidity I can take and as such I have dropped this drama for my own health and the greater good. Any positive bias/hope I had for this show is long gone as well, so the rating dropped again, justifiably.

So the female lead is supposed to be almost 18. Furthermore she grew up in the palace. Her mother told her to listen to her foster father, who explicitly stated she shouldn't reveal her identity.

Now I feel like under those circumstances it's reasonable to assume that an 18 y/o acts like an adolescent or even potentially an adult, yet her mental capabilities are still stuck at the level of a 10 year old for the most part.
Like once she leaves the palaces she does everything she shouldn't do.
And well then at other cases she seems like an erudite. (e.g. Temple scene) yet afterwards her intelligence recedes again to the level of well a 10 year old. (Gotta be honest some 10 year olds have more grasp on reality)

Also I've seen a lot of critic regarding Rebel Princess first few episodes, that the actress was too old making it cringy. Well to be honest I find every scene in WaToL where FL speaks with her high pitch voice (or rather the dubber?) way more cringy (in a bad way; like the high voice in girl like me is hilarious for a reason, however this show just baffles me). Like an 18 year old speaking like that is just absurd.

Well I suppose let's see what other **** she does.

Acting: let's not even talk about the female lead. Like she had a total of 9? main roles yet her acting is utter tr*** imo. Though I like the male lead.

edit: honestly with every episode I watch it just gets dumber. Like "Hey stranger, did you know I committed mass murder. But please no reveal, afterall we friends rite?"

update (ep11): So suddenly she also is able to perform a different cultures unique dance without any prior training. Makes sense. Definitely. Honestly, what a joke this is becoming.

Big dissapointment

I was looking forward to this drama because it looked very neat and different from all the normal jealously drama that Chinese produces but come on mehn, are there board of directors for this drama because I am sure it’s gonna be a flop, I can understand that because she was raised carefree, she would be lively and fun as the mom wants for her and I wasn’t expecting the foster father to tell her so she would not get revenge but she wasn’t stupid when her mom died, she knows her mom died in prison and for a reason but the grown up is too stupid, acts stupid, look stupid and performs like a stupid person, I had high hopes and usually I drop better dramas that I sense doesn’t make sense before 5-10 episodes .....but this i want to be patient but damnnnn my patience is running out.......Do they think the viewers are idiot ? Of course it’s a drama and can’t be 100% but don’t call black white when it’s clearly black....even if they want to make her a weak character at first and then later strong.... it’s too unbearable to watch.... and I don’t even want to talk about the disciple, if I should start on that one.... there won’t be space lol.......and one minute it seems she understands but the next minute, her stupidity showed clouds the part.

Cheio de altos e baixos, um drama bem mediano.

Sim esse drama não é perfeito e o começo pode ser cansativo.
Sim a FL é extremamente chata e ingênua no inicio, mas ela melhora.
Definitivamente esse drama não é tão ruim quanto alguns fazem parecer, mas também não é nada incrível.

A historia não é nada surpreendente.
A trama é bem problemática no inicio e devo dizer,
que me forcei a assistir, tudo é pouco interessante e tedioso,
mas com o passar do tempo as coisas melhoram e o ritmo fica bom.
Mas então as coisas parecem voltarem a piorar, quero dizer essa historia é cheia de altos e baixos.

A qualidade da produção é okey
As coreografias são boas.
O figurino é bom~

A OST é boa~

O romance não é dos melhores, nem é por falta de química, mas a historia não ajuda.

Bextiyar Gülnezer como Liu Li funciona, a atriz é boa o problema é a personagem.
Sua personagem inocente e chata no inicio, mas amadurece com o tempo.
Timmy Xu como Pei Xing Jian convence.
Seu personagem é interessante pelo menos.

O elenco é bom.
E a menção fica com a atriz que interpreta a personagem da "Talentosa Lady Wu",
ela é extremamente interessante e chama bastante atenção, uma dama inteligente, forte e gentil.


Quanto ao que dizem~ sobre a FL ou a historia....
Bem a verdade é que a historia é sim problemática,
sim a FL é irritante e inocente no inicio, ao menos ela melhora um pouco.



Por fim, as considerações finais...
Um drama extremamente mediano, que não apresenta nada de novo,
com um trama pouco interessante no inicio, que melhora ao decorrer, mas que está repleta de problemas.
