Motivating TV Show
THANK YOU for making this tv show. I have been rewatching this, while running on threadmill, and haven't had enough of it, want more of this. The beautiful sceneries combined with sounds of foot steps and breathing are relaxing, motivating, then subtly getting more and more exciting toward the end.
The runners are unpretentiously showing their amateur and man-up sides, which make the whole show honest and pleasant to watch. I also enjoy the small talking of runners' private lifes, opinions, and humble touristic activities -- every attitude are genuine.
I wish to see them again (Ji Sung, Hwang Hee, Lee Tae Sun, Kang Ki Young) in different sites, since there are so many great places to run, in addition to marathon activities all year round. Maybe more entertainers/new member joining in next seasons.
Or, same core team member in different sport challenges as variable for next seasons. Like hiking-camping in USA, backpacking-biking across Europe, trekking in base camp Everest, sailing and diving in Indonesian underrated islands, Dragon boat racing in China, A competition between teams (baseball, basket, volley, football) etc... Same first timers / amateurs, similar goals.
In short, I think the worlds need more of this kind of motivating, elevating, genuine, exciting reality show.

Inspirational and entertaining
This show is a must watch if you are a Ji Sung fan or a marathoner.I am both - hence this show is a 10 for me!
The show follows Ji Sung and 3 other actors as they prepare for and take part in the 2019 Florence Marathon.
As a Ji Sung fan, I enjoyed hearing him talk about his outlook on life, his love for his family, and his determination as a runner.
As a marathoner, I really enjoyed watching the Florence race. Having not been able to participate in an overseas marathon since 2019 because of Covid - I found myself re-living the race excitement and hope that I will be able to run this route someday.
Preparing for a marathon usually entails months of proper training and nutrition - so I must give all 4 actors a lot of credit for gamely attempting the marathon, especially when they only started preparing for their maiden race a month before.
The fact that they were amateurs and knew almost nothing about racing - what pace they should be going, how to fuel during a race, and that they have never run more than 10-20km in their life - yet they worked so hard at it - it was very motivating and inspirational.
Kudos to them for completing the marathon (except for one) in good time - especially Ji Sung’s accomplishment, and Kwang Hee’s determination despite being in pain much of the race was truly admirable.
Hopefully the cast will be back together for another season - perhaps to try a different course and location.
This is probably one show that I will be re-watching over and over again - to draw inspiration from and until I am able to race again.

Four Men and A Beautiful Lady
I watched this show during one of the snap lockdowns, and it was a breath of fresh air. I could feel them running through the historical city of Florence, where the bite of the early cold morning smashed into my face and the anticipation of exercising as a group. I also could feel their sense of wonderment when running through the city that barely woken up and their tiredness in the early part of the night. The four cast members had terrific chemistry together. As a group, the show demonstrates their teamwork, from cooking to stretching. Kang Ki Young and Hwang Hee personalities shined, where both of them looks like fun yet serious men, which I now keep seeing in their work. Ji Sung showed his natural leadership quality and his experience in running. The youngest member, Lee Tae Sun, sigh...the poor guy gets picked on by the hyungs in brotherly jest. Finally, the other "cast" of this show, the city of Florence, what a beauty, she gives me a bit of travelling nostalgia.
Overall, this show is pleasant viewing where the actors get to know each other outside of their work, show us Florence, provide some running tips, and camaraderie. The format is similar to 'Youn's Kitchen' and 'Three Meals A Day'.
