Tan Song desperately convinces her parents to accompany her as she would be alone with him. He Jinzhao tells his mom that he was not going to repeat a year for Gaokao as he knows it was going to be in vain, however hard he tried. He tells her that he just wanted to do something that he is actually happy about and that not all things are meant for everyone. Chen Zui and Jinxiao visit the aquarium. Liu Gaoxu asks Tan Song whether he likes Chengzi to which he asks him to shut up. He later regrets his answer. When they are back at home, Gaoxu decides to confess his feelings to Chengzi at the science museum. Chen Zui sees Tan Song upset and asks him to chase after her, having discovered his feelings for him a long time ago.
