Lovely Us (2020)

Both the shows give the Korean Reply series vibes. Both are based on the idea that some friends are like family. However, Lovely Us is more light hearted and warm.

(These aren’t all of the similarities, but these are the ones that I could think of at the moment. I highly recommend checking out this drama if you liked ‘When I Fly Towards You’)

Both dramas begins in a school setting and evolves to a university campus/society setting. The drama is not too long therefore it doesn't feel dragged which is quite good. I highly recommend Lovely Us.

Both are youth and romance dramas and set in the late 2000s (one is 2007 and the other is 2008). Both dramas are centered around a close group of friends in and out of school.

Both show the journey from high school to adulthood. "Lovely Us" is shorter than "Our Secret" with 16 episodes instead of 24. Both shows emphasise the importance of friends, family, and youth.

"Lovely Us" is based in a sort of older setting compared to "Our Secret" which is more modern.

This drama gave similar feels, plus lead actress recommend this drama. Loved both dramas. Coming of age and High school setting.

Let’s just say that it has the same vibes just different plot and storyline and how the timelines goes by…. It’s a cute family past story thingy that someone might enjoy watching so I think u’ll like it… but for the wig thingy….. I don’t know…. I still need an explanation as to WHY they try so hard for that awkward hairdo…. ?
