Two men haunted by equally lonely pasts, Kudo Jin and Akaishi Ryuji, belong to the Jinryu Faction of the Washu-gumi, led by boss Tokito Shigeru. Defying a peace agreement between rival yakuza organizations, they invade other gangs' territories and carry out violent crimes without restraint. Their actions draw the attention of Mitamura Takashi, the head of the Katsuhana-gumi, who moves to eliminate the Jinryu Faction after a major incident threatens the fragile balance between the syndicates.
