Both have an exceptional male lead fighting to change a broken system. Both have a silly but fun second male lead and a nutty but strong female sidekick. Both fight for regular people against politics and corruption.

Both are medical dramas with surgery scenes.
Cross has overarching mystery plot in it but medical background of the drama is similar to Trauma code.
There is no romance plot just friendships.
