Because of Love

今生有你 ‧ Drama ‧ 2022
Shows the leads' relationship at different stages in their life- as teens/young adults in the past and then as adults in modern day.
Female lead is married and has a kid when she re-enters male lead's life in modern day.
Amnesia plot points come into play.

Down on their luck/poor female leads.
Male lead is from a rich family.
Female lead dumps male lead for reasons unknown to him. They reunite years later, where she now has a child- speculatively his.
Recommended by Alex
- Both male leads are the sons of big company owning people
- Both female leads have a son outside of the knowledge of the male leads
- both couples reignite their love after years of not contacting each other
- both couples face situations where they would have to overcome the overbearing CEO parent from trying to split them up.
- Both very ANGSTY dramas

"Loving, never forgetting" is older so it is a bit more cliché than "Because of Love"

Almost the EXACT same plot, except BofLove is more angsty while the Love you Give me has much more humour and the FL is doing much better financially.

They started falling in love, while, they were young. She got pregnant by him and he learned about their child later on. Ml are both rich and have both parents against their relationship. But this drama is very slow that it gives you the vibes of Kdrama when my love blooms. Don’t worry after episode 9, it will get so much better that got me addicted. Don’t give up on this one. Worth a watch.

FL broke up with ML and went on suffering on her own before meeting again. ML was kept in the dark about the breakup and was heartbroken for years, resulting in his resentment towards FL. Both dramas begin with their lives several years after the breakup.

- Same leads. Reversed suffering.
- BoL can be considered the reincarnation of TLTSILY, where ML get his retribution for betraying the FL in the past life.

-Female lead leaves and comes back years later
-FL dads death somehow revolving around ML (wither accurate or not causing misunderstandings)
-Misunderstandings that lead to main characters being apart

Same plot with child being hidden from a parent for many years

Same separation caused by one of the parents as they didn't approve because of status

Same one lead is poor, the other rich, misunderstanding

Controlling parent of a lead, creating misunderstanding and forcing child to follow the path set by them.

Family dramas which rely on similar tropes.
Rich male lead, poor female lead.
Disapproving parents, and bad blood between parents of the leads.
Male lead suffers from a regression type amnesia mid way through the show, resulting in him living as his younger self mentally for a while.
Multiple love interests and multiple side couples.

- Both dramas have lovers-separated theme and mature romance in urban setting.
- FL broke up with ML first.
- FL hid the fact that she was still in love from ML.
- ML was devastated because of the separation. He then lived in misery, suffering from prolonged pining and developing mental issue, unable to give up on their love.
- ML took the initiative to get back with FL, but was rejected again.

The story follow same as When My Love Bloom, as both series has past lovers, fell apart by family problem, and married when they became adult. Both has children and living in misery. Both series FL father dies in construction accident, and ML in both series went onto have a successful life, but FL goes into misery.

My Sunshine is a less mature version of BOL. Both has college lovers separated because of personal issues. Family secrets that lead to separation of the lovers.
Recommended by Nauriya
- ML and FL fell in love during high school
- FL didn't want to be a burden and broke up with ML due to life obstacles
- FL has financial problem while ML is devastated/has psychological problem.
- They meet again several years later, but the past misunderstanding prevents them from reconciling.

Similar vibes, slow and "sad". In "chocolate" characters were not a couple before as in "BOL" but there are also time gaps. Both are melodrama. Both have flashbacks.
