There's only 14 episodes not 15 like it says on MDL.

I only started this lakorn for Boy Pakorn but wow Gina really grew on me. She's the type of Nang'ek at first glance you don't care too much for or maybe you're not too fond of her, but her acting is what really make her stand out. Boy definitely brings out the best in Gina in term of compatibility, acting, and chemistry.

Boy as always is a phenomenal actor, it never feels like he is trying too hard to be in character. IMO, it comes naturally to Boy. Gina, is still new I will say there is definitely room for improvement. But wow, she cry so beautifully and I am so hurt for both their character.

I really enjoyed this lakorn, it is different than your usually slap kiss, romcom and revenge plot. This is a heavy actions lakorn so if you're not into that, this won't be your cup of tea. There is a lot of talking which make the lakorn feel like it is dragging.. However, there's is a lot of romance in here between Boy and Gina. I love that you can feel the instant connections, emotions, and feelings Boy and Gina have in episode one.

I have never watched the Turkish version so I cannot compare the two, all I know is that the Turkish version have a tragic ending. I am all for tragic ending, but that is just me. The plot move at a very fast pace and like I mention above a lot of talking but you never will find yourself bored for too long.

At time, Plaifoh (Gina) character annoyed the freak outta me, she's naive and too trusting of her brother. I hate that Plaifoh's always trying to protect her brother despite what he and her have done to Tawan (Boy) and his family. You can feel the guilt Plaifoh have each time Tawan save her from danger.

I cannot stand Bomb acting! I have never been to fond of him and seeing him play as the villain was just a no go for me. There was so many scenes that needed more emotions and facial expression from Bomb and he just did not pulled through, just flat and dry. I am so disappointed.

Oh and if you're wondering, happy ending.

One of the Best Lakorn from Boy Pakorn !!

The story begins with Chittawan / “Tawan” (Boy Pakorn) who is really happy to be marrying his girlfriend Thip (Rawiwan Bunprachom). Tawan is a medical student who will soon graduate. However, on his wedding day, Tawan was accused of being the murderer of his future father-in-law, who turned out to be a famous conglomerate.

Eleven years later, a beautiful lawyer named Plaifhon (Jeena Yeena) offers legal assistance to Tawan. Initially, Tawan, who was already bitter about the injustice, refused this assistance. But Plaifhon assured the Tawan, if he could succeed in helping and clearing his good name. In short, get out of prison. And what was even more surprising was that Plaifhon tried hard so that Tawan could take back the title of Doctor, until Tawan asked, "Why are you so good to me?"

Sweet moments occur when Tawan mothers tries to make her child happy. The new prisoner received compensation of 3 million baht. Then Mother made a reservation at a restaurant with the excuse that she wanted to celebrate this happy day with her family. But on the D-day only Tawan was alone with Plaifhon. Mother and other families did not come with the excuse that Mother was not feeling well.
Paifhon felt anxious, he asked Tawan, should they not just go home because Mother was sick? Tawan was annoyed because he knew that his mother was fine, immediately grumbling, "Eleven years in prison makes me look like a child who doesn't care about my parents."
Neutralizing the stiff atmosphere, Plaifhon asked Tawan to smile, finally Tawan smiled again. Then Tawan saw that Plaifhon liked to pay attention to his cellphone.
Tawan: "You saw my cell phone"
Plaifhon: "Ah no really"
Tawan: "I feel sorry for your boyfriend"
Plaifhon: "I've never done this before."
Tawan: "Am I the first? Right?"
Plaifhon: "I don't know. You are the client who got your lawyer in trouble."
Tawan: "Even though you have problems but you look happy."

This play is very interesting because I happen to be no longer excited about watching romantic comedy genre dramas. I love dramas that make me feel bitter about life but also fall in love at the same time. The cinematography is also good, the harshness of prison life feels true to the original.

How about the players? As usual I was hypnotized by the complete handsome of Boy Pakorn, but the worst thing was that I saw his chin, Boy Pakorn's chin, uhuyyy was so charming it made me even more lope-lope.

And I immediately went to look for info about Jeena, feeling supraise because of their age difference in real 15 years, wow it's just like the age in Lakorn. Plaifhon's style as a lawyer in my eyes looks so smart, make-up and all the clothes also taste good to look at, it's perfect if Tawan doesn't wear it for a long time and immediately love with his lawyer.

Good acting and chemistry is so strong, then the romance scenes that every week I am anxiously waiting for this update from Lakorn.
Criminals are also hard to hate. Actually, this Kharabaek husband has tried to win his wife's heart for years, but it turns out that his wife still loves his ex-girlfriend. Im confused with Mrs. Director, you know, criminals are hard to hate if he's too handsome, hehe..

When I watch dramas, do I always pay attention to the OST? At first I watched Lakorn I felt that Thai was a bit noisy and had a shrill tone, but after listening to Thai a lot, finally their language felt as sweet as Mandarin and Korean. And I also feel that the supraise of this Thai song turns out to be a lot of good, including this Lakorn OST entitled Save Me sung by Suthita Chanachaisuwan.

Happy Watching !!

Interesting Story

I didn't watch the Turkish drama - thought of watching this after reading MDL reviews that it was a happy ending- I was NOT disappointed. Although romance is a minor sub plot, the story is interesting & captivates the audience in each episode.

It's interesting how the Main Lead (ML) discovers the Female Lead (FL) secrets gradually. From the 1st episode onwards a connection between the leads were established. The revelations, truth and plot twists will keep your interest episode after episode. I think all actors did an excellent job... I have watched some of ML's lakorns earlier - but I think he looked absolutely 'gorgeous' in this series & there was good chemistry between the leads. I thought the ending was a bit rushed & would have loved to see more 'happy' scenes between leads at the last episode.

It's a great drama to watch. Happy watching.

If you want action with heavy drama, you should watch this!!

One of the best thai dramas that I have watched. Tawan best boy HUHUHUHU, if I were him I would never forgive Bua for lying and getting in his revenge. I kinda hate the fl cuz it takes 11 episodes for her to confess that she is the fake witness and I hate how she manipulate (i dunno if the word gaslighting is the right term) Tawan especially when she got angry when Tawan do a background check on her lol. But on the other hand, her backstory is sad so I tried my best to understand her situation (in the end I cant, it took me days to finish this drama cuz of fustration about her decisions). Kinda sad that they dont have anyone to rely on that made her brother do these kind of bad things just for them to survive. She should also go to prison for obstruction of justice or for being an accessory

Aside from that, the actor who portrayed Petch, hmmm I dont know if he is supposed to act like that but for me, he doesnt fit to be an antagonist HAHAHA. When he gets angry, he looks stupid, and he cries with no tears lol. But for the other characters, they did well.

I am also happy that ex-cop/Dech didnt die. He is one of my favorite character, I like how he is observant and quick-witted. I love how he bring Tawan back to his senses (gets blinded by love, rupok mo tawan).

All in all I like the story, but I am dissatisfied with the ending of Tawan and Fon meeting by the ocean.

I watched this after watching lipgloss spy, and I can say is Boy really suits this kind of character cop/revengeful person because of his strong features. He also have good chemistry with the fls he has paired with.

Ups and downs

The story is really good. It's very articulated and it's very clever how they could give so much information and yet making things so unpredictable. Everytime a secret is uncovered, a new one is around the corner.

I don't know if it makes sense to judge the story though, since this is a remake. I didn't watch the original, but I've got the impression all the flaws are related to the Thai version.
The acting was stellar, the story excellent, but what I didn't like was the storytelling technique. One example is how the last part of an episode and the first part of the following episode are the same scene, except the one in the previous episode has been edited to include fewer details. This would be clever if done properly: it builds anticipation for the next episode and serves as an introduction to the following episode to remember what has happened so far. What they did was to edit the episode so much that in some instances they looked like different scenes. I don't remember when it happened, but at the end of an episode, Plaifon was at Boon's, but Tawan and Pibop (RIP😭) suddenly broke in. It looked like Tawan had caught Plaifon in the house, but in the following episode, Plaifon actually managed to escape before Tawan could get in the room she was in.
Also can we talk about Plaifon's secret? We know since the second episode that Plaifon is actually Bua, she manages to keep it a secret and then at the end of episode 11, the only thing she can say is "I surrender, I'm actually Bua". Like, seriously? I was expecting an emotional speech where Plaifon confessed, explained everything she went through in those 10 years, then Tawan got a little bit angry and disappointed in her and then calmed down and realised he loved her too much to hate her. What happened was an edulcorated version of what I said. That part definitely let me down.

I also didn't understand Ploy's character. By the way they introduced her, it looked like she was there because she knew Petch had killed Thip's father. In reality she's there for no reason. She was in England and then got back to Thailand for fun. She messed a little bit with her brother and that's it. That's all she was useful for. It's a shame because I really liked her character, but it wasn't exploited as much as they could.

Anyway, I don't think the flaws outweigh too much the good things. I still enjoyed this and got pretty involved in it. I just expected more.
Btw, the opening OST is a nice tribute to the early 2000's rock.
