One of the things that is so enjoyable about both series is the easy-going vlog-like format of its episodes. I had already mentioned it in my review for the first season, but that, alongside with the high school concept, the way the drama was shot and the acting was done makes this series quite original and fresh. It gives it character, a distinct personality.

Because, aside from that, Real:Time:Love 2 adopts the "friends to lovers" troop, gifting us with the clichéd pretend relationship that any romance lover might have a thing for. Yes, Real:Time:Love does have its plenty amount of teenage drama that one will call "clichés", but it's the format in which they're played that makes you stick around. In terms of cheesiness, I thought this one was less cheesy than the first.

I do hope the creators do think about making a 3rd series. Although this second ended neatly, making another one might give the name even a bigger popularity boost.

Soooo cute!

This is just so cute. It's short and sweet to the max. Just a fun way to pass the time if you're in a drama slump or just bored.
It is a teen romance with a high school setting and a bestfriend to something more love story. I'm a great sucker for bestfriends love stories and this one is just way too cute.
The chemistry between the lead couple is so natural, it's actually like they really are friends in real life. The behind the scenes look like they are having a lot of fun.
No excessive drama, no over the top mean characters, just something sweet that will leave a smile in your face after watching.

"대한독립 만세!" ??

WOOOOOW I didn't expect this to be so hilarious, having seen the first part. The key of success is definitely the casting. I love the actors, they are so charming and cute. I can see they had a lot of fun while filming. Choi Hyeon Wook is amazing, he looks like a kid of Gong Yoo and Park Seo Joon?

I can't say the story is something extraordinary, or even original, but I like how well the teenage awkwardness works here. I'm dying of laughter finishing the last episode. The jokes and gags are silly but passionate.

Amazing

i have only watched two seasons of real:time:love so far and i really didn't enjoy season one so my expectations for this one weren't high at all, i thought it was going to suck anyways but i was wrong, i really was wrong.

first season is shorter which makes it easier to binge watch but surprisingly season two is also easy to binge watch, i finished it in less than three hours and ended with refreshing feelings and a big smile on my face which didn't happen with season one. i loved choi hyunwook's acting in this season, he wasn't the male lead on season one which made me sad but this season gave me exactly what i wanted.

i found a lot of scenes to be so much fun to watch, specially that episode where he gets hard and at the end when he talks about her period. i definitely recommend this to anyone who wants to have a good time and fall in love with the main characters.

Cute story! Worth watching.

Honestly it's still a bit average but this season is definitely much better than season 1, but the episodes are longer and focus less around vlog only so that could be why. The chemistry between Hongyun and Yechan is amazing, and I really like Yechans character. I still find it hard to connect with Hongyun or find much about her personality, the writers didn't write her very well she has no depth to her character other than being a girl who dates a lot and is easy. There's a lot of ad placement for a makeup brand which is a bit annoying but the crew needs money to fund all of the equipment and everything so it's understandable plus there's usually a lot of ad placements in web type dramas. I thought there was a weird time skip in episode 7 but the website I used just put the episodes mixed up, so the plot was fine, it didn't have weird time skips or sudden plot changes, everything seemed cohesive. In episode 8 there was a weird pee scene followed by an ad for makeup, it could've been left out completely I found it strange... Anyways I would recommend this, it was quite cute and the leads had lots of chemistry and I think the writer ended this season very well.
