WATCH THIS DRAMA PLEASE

I am enamored by this drama! first of all, WE HAVE 4 WOMEN PLAYING THE LEAD ROLE!! This is enough as a reason to watch a drama. But on top of that, we have a wonderful story of women realising their self-worth and taking revenge on shitty men. I can't stress enough how much I enjoyed "danger of her", i think it's one of the most amazing things i've watched lately. The story is good, the character development is great, you'll genuinely end up loving and caring for all the girls. Overall it's such a well-made drama, with great pace, brilliant acting, a lot of high fashion and some side-line romance (which is quite cute).
It really saddens me to see that there aren't many people that have watched this absolute gem. This needs to be known and appreciated as much as possible.

Also I'm living for Qiao Wei's fashion.

A few good men.

I always love all kinds of female empowerment, dark revenge thrillers along the lines of Kill Bill, Why Women Kill, Gone Girl etc. Like many similar themed stories, this one explores how when pushed too far, women can be a little bit dangerous. The success of these kinds of plots always depends on how ingeniously the "revenge" is set up and a few good twists along the way. This hidden gem of a short drama definitely achieves that and is worth watching for that alone.

At surface, the main protagonist Qiao Wei has it all - she is a beautiful socialite with a handsome, successful and adoring husband (Lu Zicong) and a young son. Her facade of a perfect life starts unraveling after a wild school reunion at a hotel reconnects her with her old flame Qi Kai and an old frenemy struggling journalist Su Yao. The hotel chef An Xin's friend Nicole saves the inebriated Qiao Wei and shields her from her Zicong's unreasonable jealousy and possessiveness. As it turns out, all three women have had unhappy experiences or axes to grind with Zicong or Qi Kai. Brought together on that fateful night, they come up with some gripping, badass schemes to free Qiao Wei from her unhappy marriage and serve up a Michelin star-worthy dish of revenge on these nasty men.

The only issue I have with this drama is that the tone and writing style of the first half of it is markedly different from the much better second half. I found the backstories of these women to err on the melodramatic side and it took me a long time to empathize with Qiao Wei. I just kept shaking my head at her appalling taste in men. But I found the friendship and rapport between the women to be very enjoyable and even though she is a bit annoying in the beginning, Su Yao is my favorite of the four. The writing in the second half of the drama really hit all the right tones for me - between darkly humorous yet psychologically thrilling, witty and subtle with a a nice dose of silent communication. It is like another writer took over and I really wish the backstories and some of the difficult issues in the first half were written in the same language.

The other thing I really like about this drama is that while they are not rescued by men, they certainly got a lot of help from men friends. As much as I love girl power, it is important to be reminded that there are a few good men out there. The ending is also realistic in that it shows us that nobody has everything and its ok. The plotting is diabolical and the twist at the end that leaves a lingering shiver of fear is the perfect final touch.

This is a very enjoyable 8.0 for me. Also a shout out to @Skibbies for the recommendation.

TV shows of this genre tends to be tedious or just plain dull. But this one ain't that. The story turns out simple, straight cut and yet surprisingly entertaining.

Just a bunch of girls against a bunch of d!cks. They didn't kill or destroy. They just want to get back what was theirs in the first place; their freedom, self respect, justice for their pain and sufferings. And with the help of theirs friends, they've succeeded.

Actors were ok, OST too so all in all, it's a good watch.

Great but slow plot line with good acting

Honestly, i loved the movie and can recommend it.

the plot is absolutely great, sadly it takes a while to really get going, but let me explain

----------some spoilers ahead, read after the line if you want to avoid----------

the story will show not tell how a wife is being abused in different ways during a marriage, quite frankly its hard to watch. this goes on for quite some time until she decides to take revenge in her own and smart way. its a joy to watch and the payoff is huge

-------------------------

aside from the plot the acting is quite good not the best i have seen, but really solid, you feel with the characters and their blights and can look forward to a satisfing expression.

the music did not strike me as particularaly memorable thus only 5points

it has some rewatch value, but given that the feeling are mostly because of the plottwists, its obviously diminished.

all in all a movie i can highly recommend

Dealing with a domestic abuse is troubling and very hard to handle
This show is truly remarkable in balancing the heavy material with light humor & romantic scenes

I Hate and love both Main & female lead, Marriage without romance ,respecting, wholehearted (complete sincerity and commitment. ) & caring partner will be like a vehicle driving without any wheel, the car will be break but don't know whether to be happy or sad at the end as they both wear there mask & who will be more hurt

I respect the female lead had forsaken the domestic abuse with divorce and handling her husband who is SUSPICIOUS & a CONTROL FREAK is hard to deal with , but the light & warm and caring friends from college helped the female lead

Main highlight of the show is in divorce, Physical injuries are direct and favorable ; when women who decided to end their marriage would leave there husband at all cost

Domestic abuse wife who had lived with there partner for many years knows
" Men who hits women have a common weakness, they look strong outwardly but weak inwardly will get easily fooled when they are suspicious of there surrounding and partner life , will be defeated by his own characters "

"Do not impose on others what you do not desire "

" Life is a complete circle ~ If you do bad things bad things will happen to you and if you do good things everything you work will be good "

Spoiler alert
Qiao Wei (FL) Mystery & strong Character who even during hard time always know a way to deal & heal herself

Chef He An Xin dealing with enormous stress from battery in youthful life & Doctor recommending Psychological play to deal with recurring nightmares is genuine choice

Su Yao is Naive Playful (Sweetness of youth) character who had troubling past in college days and how she cleared the misunderstanding with FL and recollecting there memories of a college when they helped each other during period & how FL spoken after suffering from Empty marriage how she envy her as free & have a joyous life

Nicole is intelligent and smart women who want to help & worried about her friend & how she didn't give up in dealing with a batterer after a psychical assault & a promise she made with her friend not doing any stupid & not to worry is well written

I know a friend who has same character like Mr. Yan & I loved all the scene where he was in the show

Three women band together to uncover the truth...and deal justice.

TL;DR If you enjoy low romance, independent FLs, sisterhood, murder, and mystery/suspense, I recommend The Danger of Her.

Of course, it is not everyone's cup of tea, but because it's short, modern, and nonromantic, I would recommend this to those seeking a break from lengthy, romantic costume dramas.

What I think about it
I like it. It's not romantic and relies on suspense, although not overly so. It shows independent women, which, sadly to say, is often rare in c-dramas. The FLs must rely on themselves to achieve their goal, and the sisterhood between the women is enjoyable to watch. None of the FLs are annoying. In addition, each one has her own job. There is a lot of mystery in the plot, and the ending is interesting but resolved. Some of the acting, as mentioned, is too cartoonish, especially the antagonist.

Summary without spoilers
There's 4 FLs, each one with a unique backstory. The "Main FL" Qiao Wei is in a terrible marriage, but she is wealthy and has a son. She attends her college 5 year reunion and meets up with an old friend who is a writer Su Yao (another FL). Something insane happens, and something from the past resurfaces, and an old boyfriend blackmails QW. Four classmates are brought together and devise a plan to help QW get rid of this blackmail--and escape her abusive marriage.

Worth for the unintentional comedy only

I'm really surprised with those positive reviews and comments, I feel like I just watched another drama. Seriously, this was very bad in all aspects: horrible acting, horrible dubbing, horrible music, ridiculous editing and transitions, plot full of holes and absurds. Everything looks so amateur that I could think it was made by college students.
It's sad because the general idea is good, could have been a great drama if it was done right.

I have to say that from episode 10 to the end things become much more interesting and I laughed so hard with the unintentional comedy, especially with the faces the abusive husband does, widening eyes, overacting all the time. The kind of thing that is so bad that makes a turn and becomes entertaining because of the ridiculousness! ?

If I recommend? I would say you should see for yourself and make your own conclusions because as you can see here this drama seems to be hit or miss thing, a love or hate, so maybe you should give a try. ?
