Top notch storyline

This crime drama exceeded my expectation. The twist and flow of the story was superb, not too hasty nor slow... its almost perfect to make you sit on your chair for the entire season.

what I realize from this series is that... Giving or granting psychopath - serial killer emotion and conscience is like both gift and curse... its worse than death and life imprisonment...

The dilemma and feelings toward the ends was so strong... his repentance and salvation... the ending was just right... but I was also wondering, death was too easy for his father and that secretary... those are the thing I'm not satisfied.

WHAT A CRAZY DRAMA

WHAT A CRAZY DRAMA🤪🤪

The first 4 or 5 episodes was very fast rythem l couldn't stop watching the five episodes in one shot 😂😂

First episode was very confused the second l was feeling like who is who😅but with the third episode we start know things but there was a lot of mystery things but the events keep me watching and every 2 episode there was a plot twists actually there's a lot of plot twists and l love series like that😁😁

This drama is very different from any serial killer TV series l ever watch l don't know how to say why but when l start watching l feel that it's different l was in every episode like "WHAT JUST HAPPENED "😂 my mind was just like that .
After episode 6 the events start slow down and after 2 episodes the thriller come back and we come back to the main subject of the drama ,the last episodes was very good we know the answers and all the answers were reasonable, the end was very satisfied for me.

There is a big problem in this drama it's very long drama with 20 episodes if they cut 3 or 4 episodes the drama will be perfect , l am a patient person if l saw a promise series l will give it a chance but if anyone who love fast events will feel boring because the slow in some episodes but l reallly enjoy this drama the plot twist the arranging in the events make a great story and of course the cast have a big role too

Lee Hee Joon was very good he give me goosebumps in alot of scenes especially episode 5 l reallly cried 😂😂

Lee Seung Gi l feel he really like serial killer and psychopath😂😂 sometimes when he cry l didn't feel with him but the final episode my tears feel down with his 😂😂 the other cast did great job too

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND 🔪🐀

The K-drama unable to be Masterpiece BUT

I started this K-drama after being disappointed with Signal 2016, and as Signal had higher ratings, I thought Mouse would be just an okay show to kill time, but I was so wrong.
Mouse 2021 is one of my favourite show from now on and Lee Seung Gi nailed his role. Lee Seung Gi is so good I used to ignore him but I won't now.
The show is Great, Good Suspense, a nice mystery, Emotions, and Serial Killers. But the main problem is that the show is too dramatic, and the police get clues so quickly. A show broadcasting serial killers was so unrealistic.
Also, the ending was good; I was not disappointed at all. That's how it should be.
But the overly dramatic plot is the thing that, in my opinion, I won't rate it 10/10, but if you don't care about that and are okay with drama, this show will be a good thrill. The last few chapters are always boring in any K-drama, and so was the case with Mouse, but I'm glad it ended on a good note, which compensated for the stretched episodes.
Highly recommended if you Love Serial Killers Movies, Thrillers, Suspense and Mystery with a pinch of sci-fi.

Its totally worth watching if you like thriller and crime dramas.

This is a materpiece i can say, the only less realistic thing is Ko Mo Chi, no matter what happened he could "feel" that it was made by a psychopath even tho nothing seemed like that. Ba-reum and Seong Yohan both were complex charachters. I really liked Bong-yi, because she wasnt that sensitive ass girl what i usually see in korean dramas. Its really long but i never boring. I loved the fact that i had absolutely no clue what will happen next, this show its one of the best ive ever watched and i totally recommend it.

This series has only one hospital in it, that does not make sense at all.

"Mouse" stands out for its exceptional cast and compelling storyline. The actors deliver stellar performances, drawing viewers deeper into the intricate plot with each episode. However, one aspect that leaves audiences puzzled is the portrayal of a single hospital and doctor servicing an entire region. This oversight raises questions about the realism of the setting and the lack of alternative healthcare options. Despite this inconsistency, the series succeeds in keeping viewers engrossed with its suspenseful twists and character dynamics. The revelation of the killer being someone trusted adds an extra layer of intrigue to the narrative. While the scarcity of medical facilities may strain credibility, "Mouse" remains a captivating watch for those enthralled by mystery and psychological thrillers.

Bareum

A psychological thriller that messes with your mind

If there was ever a psychological thriller that truly lived up to the genre, Mouse is it.

At 20 episodes, you’d think there might be moments where the plot drags—but nope, not here. This drama keeps you on edge the entire time, playing with your mind in ways that leave you questioning everything.

Like, how did I end up feeling bad for someone so despicable?

I won’t lie—I had a hunch about Jung Ba-Reum from early on. But the way the narrative unfolded was pure brilliance. The writers took the “what goes around comes around” trope and executed it in the most brutal way imaginable. Every twist and turn was intentional, and no detail was wasted.

Of course, what really made this drama work was the acting. It’s been ages since I last watched a Lee Seung-Gi drama, and honestly, the man never disappoints. But the real surprise for me? Lee Hee-Joon as Ko Moo-Chi. I don’t think I’ve seen any of his work before, but wow—he nailed it. His portrayal of someone living with the aftermath of trauma and loss was gut-wrenching. That breakdown scene in the final episode? I wept for him, with him.

This wasn’t just a well-written thriller—it was a complex, emotionally charged narrative that didn’t shy away from the harsh realities victims and their families face. Some of the scenes were difficult to stomach, but they served a purpose, adding to the intensity of the story rather than feeling gratuitous.

The emotions this drama evokes are strong—hate, sorrow, anger, sympathy, all of it. And the ending? One of the most satisfying I’ve seen in a long time. It brought everything full circle, gave every character (and the audience) closure, and wrapped up the story in a way that felt truly complete.

Plot twists were dropped at just the right moments, and the execution was top-tier. A brilliantly crafted psychological thriller, backed by actors who are absolute pros.

A solid 9/10 from me—the minus 1 purely because some of the themes were a bit much, but that doesn’t take away from how incredibly well-made this drama is. Major props to the entire cast and crew, especially the child actors. Absolutely commendable.

Disappointing but worth watching

I have very mixed feelings about this series. Human experiments designed to manipulate voters into supporting legislation that forces the abortion of babies who test positive in utero for a "psychopath gene" doesn't bode well as enjoyable subject matter, but the moral issues were skirted over, anyway. The acting was solid and the story fairly suspenseful but it bogged down mid-way through with unnecessary complications and confusions. There were so many "coincidental" associations between characters that I was groaning in anticipation about what absurd twist was coming up next. It became impossible to make the huge leaps of faith that the screenwriter demanded. When that happens in a drama/film, I become irritated and wonder if the writer thinks the viewers are really that stupid. The series would have been far better had the plot and subplots been more believable. And it could have been made far more believable by simplifying the story and cutting out what were intended to be clever twists and associations but ended up being absurdities and distractions. With this in mind, it's worth watching.

Must Watch

It is not the typical drama I am used to. This series really brought an unpredictable plot unlike those I normally watch. If you want serial killer and psychopath series this is definitely recommendable.

What to expect:

1.) Lee Seung gi definitely is a good actor with great acting skills. His emotions were pure and natural that made the drama
much better.
2.) The way the crimes were revealed were mentally excruciating.

Not very bad ,, dizzy ,, story complete ,,recommended investigation lovers

not too bad, dizzy and confusing at the beginning of the drama, but quite curious, and the story is finished

the early episodes 1-5, the first feeling i get from watching this drama is, annoyed, dizzy, and dissatisfied,, why???

1. a lot of stupid and careless cast

2. ‎ timing is not right , and unclear ( flashback in live show ep 5 ,,
15years from 2005 is 2020 ,but after 1 year jungbareum check who hit him the date it happened was 16-11-2019, and in the last eps it when.... The date is 2021,, ‎events that already happen but not shown, nit clear timing ,i think i missed something,,but they tell it then (documentary of hanseojoon and goomoowon,,,, lawyers from ssungyohan and kangdooseok)

3. ‎evidence and witnesses are always intentionally missed

4. ‎very sloppy investigations are not confirmed in the first place, relying only on guesses( mukbang vloggers who don't have anorexia, if they check the facts they will notice the oddity, because sung yohan is a genius doctor it is impossible not to know such trivial things)

5. ‎evidence and witnesses are not explained from the start , since the beginning of the investigation they did not mention the main evidence and witnesses that they obtained, but added as the story progressed, it could suddenly be that A who became a suspect for stalking, or victims A, B, C when alive have this habit or that habit that's what make them killed, and can get a shuddenly witness ( but in my opinion no reason to connect it with the case,,,such as girl employee being forced to eat, if he is a psychopath there is no reason to let her go and leave trace ) and when they saw the evidence obtained from the victim, they just looked at it, without being explained what it was, they just had a sad and shocked expression,, basically the audience didn't understand, because the photos were very unclear and bloody, especially their scenes had many sensors

6. ‎unreasonable and obvious connection of the case (supermarke girl and mukbang vloger ,, Lee Jaesik's pants that were given to Kangdoeksoo a year ago couldn't be planned, how did the killer find out? and coincidentally they both are predators),,, The evidence storage team's footage...something was cut...why didn't they cut it all? And have to leave behind the cut off image of the mysterious person?

7. ‎censorship in investigation and thriller drama is very annoying, because it is not clear what is shown if not said

8. ‎. ‎skipping the scene at an important moment, which adds (?) for this drama,, deliberately making a diversion scene in order to get a plot twist (choi hyun ju tie someone with rope in tie knot case)

9. ‎I found some camera reflections and cameraman shadows in the drama (±ep6 49.11 ,,, ep15 32:21 )

BUT ! BUT it is undeniable that this drama gives me a feeling of being addicted to watching, it's been a long time since I get a drama that made me feel very fast finish for a Kdrama with a duration more than 1 hour,,, and I noted a problem that is still not clear, and it can be said that everything has been answered at the last of the drama , can't say happy ending, but ALL COMPLETE ,,,

It's a bit unfortunate to pass the psychopathic gene fetal abortion bill, because in addition to the psychopathic gene, there is also a genius gene, and at first psychopaths can restrain themselves if they are not triggered, the most important thing is that a person does not need a psychopathic gene to do cruelty, only need intention.

Is it worth watching..

Started off watching this drama and it was fast moving..plenty of twists to get you thinking..the acting was superb and the storyline it seems excellent but there was that much going on that I got confused part way through.I love meatier Korean dramas and for someone who really understood the story and could differentiate who was who this drama had everything.I decided to stay till the end and I was even more confused. This is
only my opinion and it doesn't take away how excellent it was for other viewers..
