Sword snow stride is similar to listening snow tower because both of them tells similar storyline but differently

- Game changer protagonists who become the chess player instead of being the chess pieces under the power hungry unjust rulers
- Portrayal of filial relationships, sisterhood & brotherhood
- Martial arts masters, sects & techniques
- Political strategies & tactics

Both dramas have high moral stories and values. The main leads of both drama are kind-hearted people. These two dramas are perfect for those who values the kindness.

The first thing that came to mind was Chinese Paladin as I was watching Sword Snow Stride. These were the closest similarities I can find:

Lots of traveling
A bit of a love line going on
Wuxia

Same genre, wuxia, material arts, fight scenes, strong and smart male lead, both drama have bickering couples, and both have father son relationship. Very similar hairstyles and clothes

Focusing on a male character on his journey through the world full of fights and schemes. SSS also has Xu Feng Nian who is a smartass on his own rights.

Both Wuxia dramas
Both have journey to cultivate wuxia powers and become the best in martial arts world
Both have friendship but Heroes has more than SSS
Both have slight romance but not the main focus
SSS is slow paced though

Both have similar wuxia elements, for lack of a better word. Each with a central character that leads the narrative or the team. And each of those characters has strong sidekicks who fight with them. If you like Sword Snow Stride, I highly recommend The Vigilantes in Masks, it is a gem, one in a million. Also a little spoiler, many people believe that Sword Snow Stride although needs a second season, it has a satisfying ending for season 1....just to let you know, The Vigilantes in Masks, has that explosive satisfying ending as well, plus it was great along the way throughout.

sword snow stride has the same type of political struggles as well as type of story as a journey to love. The romance may not be strong in sword snow stride, but the story is similarly good and the plot is very much similarly paced. The actions are better in a journey to love but the acting as well as the pace is better in sword snow stride. Sword snow stride is a good storyline based drama with great acting.

Has the same famed screenwriter in Wang Juan who writes his shows with dimensional and intelligent characters, plenty of humor, and touching moments. Both have good actors and plot that defies the tropes of idol dramas.

SSS is in many ways a more polished delivery of Wang Juan's signature style. If you liked YB1/2 but felt it sometimes suffered from uneven pacing, jokes that didn't quite connect, or plot twists that lacked the proper buildup or payoff, then SSS will wow you with its much better execution.

Both have story with martial arta...characters with kick ass fighting skills.... you will like it ...the story is soo much intresting will keep you hook with each episodes....

The similarities in using supernatural martial arts as a means of fighting. Comedic elements in both as well.
