Tsubuki Junichi, a 19-year-old boy, fails the university entrance exam because he has never been a good student, feeling unmotivated to study or to give importance to his education. One day he meets Takatou Yuki, an intelligent, beautiful university girl, who, out of embarrassment, Junichi lies to her and says that he is a freshman doing a bachelor's degree in economics. Things will get complicated for the boy when he sees that time is running out to pass the entrance exam before Yuki discovers the truth. ~~ Adapted from the novel "Gakumon no Susume" (学問ノススメ) by Shimizu Yoshinori (清水義範).
