Everything started so good but ending of story... IT WAS REALLY DISGUSTING ?
the lead girl started to go crazy towards the last chapters.Ohh did you really need to do them? (lead girl)
She just crushed himself.
she could forget about Xu Nuo, the lead male, instead of doing these things.
Ummm there were some great couples who weren't leading but what happened to them we couldn't even see the ending yes we couldn't even see the ending I was really curious about the ending of Lin Yun Zhu and Zhi Xiao just like Lin Wen and Zhou Yan Xin, I loved these two couples so much...
Most beautiful thing of this drama acting, cast and ost also the women in the drama are beautiful Lin Wen, Yun Zhu and Ke Si Yi ahhh really they are beautiful
they are one of the reasons why i watch this drama till the end ? [this is true]

but they are even the couple they really focused on couldn't make a good ending... This is really, really bad

1- PLOT/STORY: Its really interesting in the beginning, how they switch, how they feel each other, and a lot of scenes are really funny...BUT.... when it gets in the middle it becomes boring, the push & pull of feelings, the denying of feelings, it was too long to admit, and the last epi did not become cute, its annoying.
2- LEADS: i love both leads i watched almost all of their series respectively. The Chemistry is overflowing, they look good as couple....BUT.... the acting is so-so-so... ML was fine is acceptable, but the FL i cant understand her facial expression to some scene that needs to be very devastated/sad. Also in the middle of the series i think starts epi 14 or 15 she started baby talking, i think this is when the rumor started that they are dating, i think the FL is still in the character of being a "GF" in real life... and the last epi is really annoying the ways she pursue the ML is not really cute at all.
3- REWATCH?? i dont think so... it did not give me the "sweetness" i want despite their "real" kiss because the FL starts to act like 5 years old so i dont see the "GF" material in her that i could feel the romance...

Decent.
This was a decent show. The story isnt too complicated to understand. The Crux of the real problem between the leads remain apparent provided you actually focus and are attentive in what’s going on in the show.The terminologies of investment and business development etc. Gave me a little headache as I was really in the zone of trying to understand what’s going on in the first few episodes. But they sprout out different terms that made not much sense to me and you gotta put in a little effort to try and understand to see how it affects the story and all.
Okay, the passion part is always a go getter when we watch this dramas. I say there is passion here and there. They don’t seem to shy away from that provided they didn’t use stunt doubles to act it out but regardless the passion between the two leads were there in some scenes.
If these two are real life than it makes the whole thing all the more real which makes us as viewers swoon even more.
The cast are all lovely looking people. The leads are adorable and sweet together. But the fact that the female lead betrayed him for the majority of the episodes although she felt guilt she did betray him when he was finally opening and trusting people again. And the fact that that didn’t move the male lead too much, wow love can be amazingly strong some times in this fantasy world.
Although in the end the female lead try to win him back and I appreciate that fiery determination of not even caring if he was engaged. And the cliche tragedy of the lady after tirelessly winning him back but him not giving in because to protect her for some reason . She end up in a coma but woke up and they lived happily ever after. Very sweet romantic and adorable. Why not? I thought she might have a memory loss but thank god no.
I don’t know the betrayal of the FL made me annoyed at her. Makes the romance part so contradicting sometimes. So that factor kinda ruined the love part for me a alittle bit. But other than that, the story is alright. I might continue watching it just not for awhile.
Also the sister was a bitch in this show just to vent a little. But she end up alright in the end but whatever. She was a bitch in the start. Also the fact that she was a body guard I was hoping for some badass martial art protecting the weak. I didn’t see that as much so that’s a bummer. Didn’t truly fulfill that desired troupe.

This was a sweet romcom that started off well with an interesting and creative concept. The ML and FL had such natural and sweet chemistry, it was fun to watch their scenes together. I found out half way through the drama that they may be dating in real life which added to their chemistry and made me see them in a different light. Super cute and sweet.This drama did some things different in having a very understanding and forgiving ML, which made me accept the FL’s unrelenting pursuit of the ML, since they were mutually devoted. But I think the drama lost me when it spent 3-4 episodes resolving an issue that just got dragged out. Although the ending is a happy one and the special episodes helped a bit (although not much for me), I would have rather seen more of the leads where they weren’t bickering or in some type of conflict. On a side note, the lawyer friend was hilarious and the hidden gem in this drama!
I think this is the type of drama where if you like the leads, you’ll be good to go. But if you’re not a big fan of either... especially the FL (we’re always so tough on them)... then maybe not.

WANTED TO THROW MY IPAD ACROSS THE ROOM
I’m just not sure how to write this without gritting my teeth. I really tried so hard to finish this drama on good terms but I’m sorry. I just so mad at the FL. How could someone be so jarring. Her acting was atrocious. The facial expressions she pulls are atrocious and my god did they have to make her character so dumb. I couldn't stand her whatsoever. The storyline was slow as hell. Please the only thing that carried the show was the main lead. He has this charm that I can’t point out. Oh I forgot about the actor who played as the assistant. He has to be one of my favourite. Quite funny and really reminds me of Nam joo-hyuk. Nonetheless, I don’t think I can watch a drama where she’s in it unless I see everyone giving a good review. I want to watch another drama of the main guy and I hope it’ll give him better justice.Was this review helpful to you?
Ready to pee your pants!! Don't hesitate, watch it!
The story is not the same as the other overbearing CEO dramas, it has it's own charm and story.They say that they don't like the dumb female lead but i actually understand it because she never shows her self when she's young.
I would say I don't quite like how he pushed the FL away to protect her, and at last he did not managed though. The pain he brought to her is more painful than the physical pain.
I would say that is not the best ending because it is really not enough for me (I did not considered the special episode yet.)
Its time for the things I really liked about the drama.
Characters:
Ke Si Yi the FL is really enthusiastic and lively, funny and I like her character as protecting the ml. she is carefree but lways considerate to others. She is lovely.
Xu Nuo the ML, He is emotionless but you will crack your voice, pee your pants, hurt your stomach laughing at him even his not showing any emotion. He is just a lovely, cute and funny inside a straight face.
I'll just say that the two are really into their character and executed it well.
They are natural kisser, you cannot say that they really eating each other on kiss scene but you will find it real and comfortable like real couple (there's rumour that they are really a couple in real life).
The Secretary and his girlfriend are funny and good looking too.
The secretary and Weiwei is the best love adviser lol.
Story
It is not a plane and boring story, Its not just about business and a poor girl that falls in love, there is more that made them connected and destined. They made for each other. It started really funny and cute but it became heartache, warm, care towards the end. There is no annoying third party in the main couple. There is third party but not a threat at all. It is purely sweet and childish but a sweet first love.
It end was rushed but thanks for the funny sweet special episodes. My rating for this is separate for the special episodes.

Enjoyable but........
Coming into this, i already knew what to expect.I remember watching this wayyy back, stopped at ep 2 and didn't pick it up again till last Friday. .
All and all it was fun to watch but there were characters that were written in such a mehh way that i had a trouble accepting them even towards the end.
One that really annoyed me to the core was her sister.
Her sister being aggressive towards her and treating her like shit through majority the drama. Boi i was pissed. Her jealousy was way beyond how it should be???? Why was her character written so badly?? Though there were redeeming points towards the end, i still didn't like her. Meh.
All in all the sweet moments of the FL and ML were cute and that's the only thing that made it fun for me. I loved that the ML was not the usual type who gets triggered w/o knowing the whole story. He understood where she was coming from and that's all that matters to me.
What i hated was the "let me treat you badly, let's break up for the better" thing. I really really am not a fan of that. Like hunny, when will these writers realize that it doesn't make the story better. I would personally appreciate a story where the FL and ML will be willing to work it out TOGETHER. Not apart. I mean let's all be mature here.
Aaaaaanyway, that's it for me. It was a fun ride. Just not something that i would pick up to watch all over again.

I laughed heartily in this drama. Even when things were not seemingly the same, I still shipped the main couple, since we were given lots of understanding about the male lead's motivations and inner struggle. He certainly acted the role of the emotionless, overbearing CEO very well and played the straight man to the female lead's comedic antics, which contrasted nicely.I felt something could have been explained to viewers so they wouldn't misunderstand the female lead's strange action to protect the male lead from unnecessary physical pain. Melatonin is a natural hormone occurring in the body which regulates sleep and can be bought as a natural health supplement. It isn't an addictive sleeping pill.
I loved the makeover of the female lead for their proper date, the accidental skinship galore, the sweet chemistry of several dynamic kisses, the scenes by water and a snow park, the very creative premise with their emotional switch, the great cast, and even the world of female sports!
The ending episodes do have quite the angst but that's to be expected in a drama, and the resolution does finally come to prove the underlying devotion. Overall, I found Love Unexpected to be a good love story and entertainment.

Its not great but its good with a message
Its a good show, the story was alright a bit convulted draggy at times and well logic isnt its best points or character development logic...But the cast was great. The romantic parts was touching and the comedy was funny for me... everything is pretty much telegraphed. No twists no surprises nothing really new...
The music is good and pls watch the special.episodes. it will make u smile
Good time waster and feel good story lots of good chemstry. Will follow some of these actresses for the future

Unexpectedly Not That Ok
Lots of overacting scenes. It seems they are added for additional comedic effect though I think it's unnecessary and looks forced. There are also lots of scenes that doesn't make sense and makes the actors look dumb if they are applied in real life. I get that sometimes you need to make the lead actors look good but exaggerating it does not make a good outcome overall.Good and entertaining acting by the second leads. For those looking for kissing scenes, this one has lots of it. Aside from that, it has a good storytelling.

eh, i liked but also alot i didnt
I thought the concept was kinda cute. I think theyre acting was not bad, and the chemistry i feel was there. But for 1 the story dragged too long in less intresting parts. Especially in the beggining. It took too long her her to understand what he meant by he felt her pain. It took too long for them to develop. I usually think 24 episodes abt the right amount for shows like this but the begginign was so draggy. They relied on ppl to wanting things to get resolved to continue watching (at least that was what happened to me n i ended up just skipping large amounts, like more than usual). for example the braclet thing i dint like how they went with it. They kept going back n forth and the end to that arch was so unsatisfying. couple episodes after they got together i thought then was intresting cause then they brought other things. Like her feeling guilty n stuff but even then it was a bit eh. I remmeber just like not liking alot, but now im struggling to name it even though i just finished it, thats how eh it was.THIS BIT IS MAJOR SPOILER
i liked how at least they didnt do the 'do they rlly like me?' to the normal extent. Like he knew she cared even though she "betrayed him" n he also did what he thought was bet but to this i say its stupid. It would have been safer if he just said 'look, i get u but now u in the middle, u in danger, lets break for a bit for ur safety.' if he did that then she would've act been safer n not so sad.

i wish they developed his story more like his mom why he became like that n his dad and his enemy person thing
i wish the sister hd a better arc rather than just her all of a sudden understanding that the dad cared too ( or maybe her understanding through a larger span of time n more slowly n then like the big momnet...idk)
i wish they spent less time in the beggining on them not undesrtanding each other n other nonsence iderememebr what happened in most eps before ep 15-ish, and instead spend more time on the things i mentioned before n his like 'fight' with his enermy that made his dad go out of bussiness.
also more of her trying to save the gym. (like i thought that mma moment was kinda nice, not saying to do more of that cause that was a good ammount but showing like more of the after math n the things that allowwed her to be able to keep the gym n things.)
the side couples also was not very intresting either imo. like i understand how it could've been but it just wasn't to me.

Senseless
Story concept is senseless . Okay it is a type of fiction story but story was too much ,how they changed the pain and emotion this was not clear , secondly okay he felt her pain and she felt his emotion,this was too much . This interchange concept is good but emotion one concept was not executed properly . Not happy with the ending part though it was happy ending .that also not executed properly .many boring scenes between the drama . unnecessary twisted the story.I recommend to those who loves to watch love story.
It was not for those who wants some sensible story along with love story though it was fiction.
