Son of Fire (1958)

Based on a Rakugo story Edo town. Kanda is in the pawn Wakadanna of the Large Store "Iseya", since he was a child, and loved fire. Takaji was disowned by his parentsand, Gaen all become firefighters. On a windy winter day, there was a fire in the neighborhood of Iseya. It starts at the store. A young fire fighter with tattoos all over his body suddenly appeared, helping them to keep abreast of the fire. The young man was a young husband. Fortunately, the fire goes out without a big deal. The young husband and his parents face each other for the first time in a few years because of their grief. The child is a human being who draws a complex emotional feeling that keeps thinking of the parent and the child even though they are distracted. It is regarded as one of the major stories in Edo Rakugo. Edit Translation
