When love is pure and magical, Crush arrives
I don't usually write reviews even if I should do it more often, but I'm always afraid that what I say will be to the detriment of others. Unfortunately the reviews are a double-edged sword: on the one hand they help, but on the other they confuse and many people then risk not watching dramas that they actually deserve. But in this comment I will put everything that I have perceived in contact with the Crush drama, so with the truth in my pocket I hope that you too will want to watch this promising show. I'm not saying I've never seen romantic, sentimental ones, but with Crush even the coldest or most stony heart can melt, break. I don't usually melt in front of love stories because they have to be done really well, because even with Titanic at the scene of him dying I didn't cry. And I was the only one in the room who didn't, but never mind! With Crush, on the other hand, it was almost normal to have teary eyes when there were the usual melancholy scenes that emerge in every romantic and sentimental genre.I think Crush in one word is "magic". The two protagonists approach, move away, hold hands and kiss, argue, cry together and yet... every time I watch it, it's like it's the very first time. It's not that erotic, sensual love where the protagonists crave to find each other and then immediately go to bed together, but the delicate, nostalgic, welcoming, deep and yet still makes the heart beat. Makes you want to watch those scenes a hundred times over. There aren't even many kisses, but in my opinion when I saw them they might as well not have been there because the way the two protagonists look at each other, to talk together... is even better than the kiss itself: it melts everything. It makes you forget the pain, the real one of detachment, just as it makes you forget the quarrels they've had. It's like having a first time and a last time, whenever the two main characters speak. And for me it's the sixth - if not more - time that I see this drama again and yet I never get tired of it. And my emotions always go back to being the same: heart pounding, tears almost coming down, butterflies in my stomach and much more. Although I've been seeing it for a while and I know the scenes of this drama by heart, it doesn't matter, the sensations return because it's like falling in love with Crush a hundred times over.
If you like:
- the tense moments that however serve to build a well-developed plot;
- love stories where Love with an A wins over everything;
- a very intense chemistry between two main characters that shines even from the screen, mixed with that of the two secondary characters, YES,
Crush is for you. And it will enter your heart. A person like me who has a heart of stone tells you this.
If you don't like:
- quarrels perhaps a little stupid and nonsense which, however, have served the plot;
- behaviors that leave something to be desired due to their immaturity, irresponsibility, exaggerated insecurity and laziness;
- characters that seem to fill the space a bit at random;
- adults who annoy sometimes in a somewhat disproportionate way;
- delicate issues such as death and "not only" that hit you at the wrong moments, in the wrong scenes because they appear out of nowhere without a due explanation in the previous episodes, NO,
Crush isn't for you. Because it will only annoy you.
Before concluding, I warn you by saying that: in my case I have Viki, so I watch most of the dramas there, but unfortunately Crush is not there - at least in my country of Italy, I don't know in the others -, so I've watched it on "Kissasian" with English subtitles. So that you know where to look for it.

A sweet, heart-tugging Chinese drama
It's the best C-drama I have watched this 2021. The casts are perfect and the acting is superb. I really admire Lin Yanjun for his excellent performance. It was his first drama and he nailed his character! Wan Peng is also amazing! I really love her acting and improvisations, she's really great. The plot is somewhat predictable but I just can't help but watch it again and again because the story is really cute. If you love a heart-tugging modern, romantic, comedy Chinese drama, this is for you.The characters of Wan Peng and Lin Yanjun are inspiring. I love the drama so much, it's a 10/10 for me!
This is my very first Wan Peng drama and this made me love her even more. I am now watching her 4th drama. Yey!

The best drama ever made
The first half is the most perfect drama I've ever seen. The acting, chemistry, directing, EVERYTHING 10/10. However, the 2nd half goes down this weird path where everything just confuses you and the characters choices just put you off. The ending was really corny. I would recommend just watching the first 12 episodes and leaving it off there. Though beautiful, they used the intro track a little too liberally but the soundtrack was pretty amazing. I don't usually listen to soundtracks but I find myself going back to this one all the time. The acting was stellar from the leads and just meh from the supports.Was this review helpful to you?
Bring more episode!!!
I don't think 24 episodes is enough! it should be more than 32 or something...now I have to rewatch it again! Evan lin is too hot to handle.Cannot skip every second he's in the scene. The story is very beautiful not much drama which is very nice. Love how the story goes when Su Nian Qin and Sang Wu Yan are together. I also feel like the 23-24 is not much clear like rushing to the end but still understanding the whole story that's why I said it should be more than 32 episodes. Definitely watch other Evan Lin's drama in the future now I become his fan!!Was this review helpful to you?
What A Delightful Story
A delightful and romantic drama about relationship and family. There is no obsess character. There is no situation that covers all the episodes. Just fixing the misunderstanding and learning about disability. The lead male character did a wonderful job portraying a blind person and how we teach blind children. I found at time he was possessive and controlling but very much in love. I love the music aspect and how he wrote the music in brailed. The female lead was not as convincing as a psychologist but she had some good point of view in dealing with kids with Autism. I also liked her positive look on life and how strong she was in her convictions. The actors did a great job in their performance and I really liked the story.Was this review helpful to you?
The occasional wholly idiotic character action ruined it for me. Otherwise it was watchable.
Sweet and fluffy light entertainment?Sure.
However... dropped at episode 13 due to crimes of the script.
All she had to do in the face of the ML's "stay or else" attitude was say "my parent had a {insert major incident}, I have to go home". One line, from a supposedly unversity degree in psychology level intellect. Yet apparantly that can't fit in the script.
Should have listened to my inner judgemental reviewer when, in the first episode where there was a person practising violin in the park, she decided to sit next to him, put her ear buds in, and then loudly and very out of tune scream out a tune discordant to the violinists' practice. Totally rude and inconsiderate ... from a character who is supposedly completing a psychology degree ... and who also works for a radio station.
As a viewer I can sometimes be very forgiving for wholly idiotic plot moments like this. What can I say, today I just don't feel like giving it another pass.

Lovely but discordant soundtrack and uninteresting/problematic characters
I very much enjoyed the OST for this drama, but that's frankly the only aspect that stood out. Some quick hits...[1] The background music was often times overly dramatic for what was actually happening during a scene and felt out of place in others. It cheapened the acting for me as it all seemed way too melodramatic to be taken seriously.
[2] The female lead is cliche and immature (from what I can gather in the first 12 episodes). It's such an overused theme in dramas to focus on the physical attractiveness of the male lead and this drama is no exception. You see the female lead remarking about how good looking the ML is and she further develops this weird obsession with him after learning he is blind. Moreover it was incredibly uncomfortable how she would invade his personal space, almost like she was TAKING ADVANTAGE of the fact that he is blind. She makes unwanted advances towards him, makes physical contact without his permission and let's not forget when she made a scene in public spinning up that ridiculous story of her being pregnant with his child and him cheating on her with her friend all for the sake of her not losing face.
[3] The ML is flat and uninteresting. You *could* take the stance that Evan plays the traumatised, reclusive and moody kid who grew up in an orphanage quite well, but nonetheless...
[4] For a character who allegedly is a psychology major, the FL makes questionable decisions and assumptions throughout the drama. She feels naive with an almost suffocating amount of optimism. Obviously she won't be able to empathize with the male lead, but there are many instances where she makes no point to understand his POV and almost invalidates what he is feeling.
All in all, a pretty subpar drama that isn't worth the time.

It was really good but it turns really bad
Many people recommend this drama so I've high expectations for it. The beginning was really good, like how they meet, their story in special school, and the conflict between them around ep 13-14. But than it turns really bad for me after that. Nian Qin eyes is healed, but why he not looking for Wu Yan?And after three years, they met up again, but why they acted like a teenagers in love. I mean did they forgets the reason why they broke up? It's not just bcs a bad words they say towards each other, but also bcs Nian Qin attitude and Wu Yan hiding her mother true feeling abt their relationship. And when they meet again, Nian Qin became a possessive ex boyfriend. Kissing her, hug her but I don't feel the sweet moment compared to their previous relationship.
It really good in the beginning like my idol crush is my boyfriend, but it turns to CEO rich boy and normal girl. I gave up on ep 20 :(
Also there's a strange scene (plot hole). Like when Nie Xi know Nian Qin and Wu Yan is dating, she treated Wu Yan badly, but than she become nice again? And the wedding between Wei Hao and Xu Qian, I think I'm gonna see their wedding stage and what will Xu Qian mother do, but there's no wedding scene. But actually I think is bcs they already targeted it to be 24 eps, but I think than they shouldn't add some of scenes above.

Love
1000000/10. We really need to watch this one. Very heart-warming drama.I started watching this for the female lead but ended up falling for the male lead. The storyline is superb. Very recommended. The chemistry of the leads is beyond everything. They are so cute together. There are so many heart-fluttering scenes <3 <3 So far, this is the best drama of 2021. As for the male lead, I am shocked as this is his debut for such a big character. He did it so well. The acting was flawless. Overall, I really enjoy this drama.Was this review helpful to you?

Such the best drama of all drama I've watched. Plot is amazing from the beginning until the end. Lin Yan Jun portrayed well the character of Su Nian Qin. I fell in love with him after watching of it. Suddenly search his name to know about him and to my surprise he was an idol. He was from idol produce. He sang also two of the ost of this drama which made it hit to me last song syndrome. Gosh!!! His voice is so lovable. If you haven't watch it yet, better to do it. It is really worth to watch.Was this review helpful to you?
What happens after a beautiful ending, wann know ? Here it is
May be i should say how i came to know this drama , first. I have installed iqiyi and after a long time i have opened it again and went on to see what are the trending dramas and this drama "crush " is in the 5th place and i felt somewhat curious by its name and read the plot in mdl , i felt i could give it a try and started whatching it, and it is so sweet to watch, am not going to tell the story because there are a lot of mixed emotions in this drama and you may feel bore when watching if you knew the story before. The main thing i liked in this drama is that every drama starts with a different story and many end with a scene where ml and fl patch up after a lot of problems or adventure or stg like that but in this drama they have shown the scenes after the ml and fml solve all their misunderstanding s and it is so nice and cute to watch that different ending and moreover that is what i am craving to watch for a long time. Finally after watching, i felt that "wan peng" really acted well and i have been starting to admire her and this is my first drama of her and am looking forward to watch more of her dramas in the future, if you miss this drama may be you are missing one of the cutest drama.Was this review helpful to you?

Th best realistic Chinese drama I’ve ever watched
I love the plotline the story everything. The only downside in this drama from the episode is when they got separated and they got back again not much sweetness i was expecting from both of them. I very much like their couple thing when he was still blind. Love their super sweetness. If only they are consistent sweet until the end i could have give. this drama a 10/10. Love the actors! Love the music of this drama. Love the flow but it drags in the last 6 last episodes. But it was okay. I still love this drama!!Was this review helpful to you?
